Everone's eyes were on Yi as she smiled. Everyone envied Hong Lin (Jun's father). During high school, Chu Yi was the most beautiful girl and everyone went for her. Too bad Yi chose Lin in the end. Wei felt that it would be better if Jun just stop acting like a little boss, stop pretending and become the cute little brother from before, that he slowly distanced himself with after he found out the boy had no intentions to inherit the company. For a moment, he had forgotten that the boy didn't know anything about his adoption. All the boy knew all this time was, 'Wei is my brother, and everything should go to Wei.' Wei felt like a failure of an older brother, after all he had never reconsidered Jun's feelings as he decided to just ignore the boy.

"About the announcement," Yi started again, "Jun will be inheriting the Hong corporations instead of Wei."

Everyone gasped. Had they been barking at the wrong tree all this time? They looked at Wei who expected everything to unfold. Instead of calming down, they felt even more shocked! Usually, in a business related family, no matter who you are, legitimate, illegitimatre, or even adopted, you would fight for the inheriting position. Never had they met a lax family like the Hongs. Even the eldest son, who should've immediately protested, was really calm. It was as if the inheriting position was nothing in the family.

It was indeed very lax as Lin was the only son of Old man Hong while people from Yi's family couldn't even join the fight. The Chus couldn't do anything as monitored by Yi herself.
