Temptation
Henry pulled back, a shocked expression on his face at the feeling of the princess's hands on his chest as she pushed him.
She stared at him with wide blue eyes full of questions about what had just occurred. The noise that escaped her lips was completely out of her control.
"What's the matter?" he asked her when she broke the eye contact.
Her face felt hot and she was embarrassed at her response.
"If you put your lips right there, I'm afraid of what's going to happen," she admitted, her voice quiet enough Henry had to force himself to focus so he could grasp each word.
He felt like a monster, barrelling forward without consideration of how she was feeling.
Henry closed the space between them again but only so he could wrap his arms around her in a gentle and comforting hug.
