Stealing from the bathhouse

"Oh my god…" Lu Yang Yang mutters, Yi Hua peeks her eyes open, "Fucking hell!" Her response was even more outright, "We are back…to the human land?" Lu Yang Yang mutters in confusion, floating in the air and floating around while Yi Hua processes everything she went through in just a day.

"Look! There! I can see a village." Lu Yang Yang shouts, jumping up and down happily, Yi Hua blinks her eyes and gasps, "Right, I can see…houses." Yi Hua mumbles, sitting on her knees while Lu Yang Yang floats to her.

"Get up! Let's get going." Lu Yang Yang says, happily, Yi Hua nods her head and stands up, she dusts up her robe, "My dress is totally messed up. People might regard me as a beggar." Yi Hua laughs at her own words.

"You can change once you get to the palace." Lu Yang Yang comments, Yi Hua heaves out a sigh and looks at herself, "Nevermind." She mutters under her breath, "But…how did we get here?"Yi Hua asks, tilting her head to the side, frowning.

"Uh…about that. I have no idea." Lu Yang Yang says, growing suspicious, "And the lion…what was it?" Yi Hua mumbles, thinking out loud. Lu Yang Yang looks at her.

"That lion had a massive amount of energy, I could feel that and it was kind of protecting us but…I can't put things right." Lu Yang Yang says, still going over the flashbacks.

"I felt weird…it looked right into me. But…I wasn't afraid when our eyes met, its color changed for a second." Yi Hua says, with her eyes wide in surprise. "What do you mean?" Lu Yang Yang asks, surprised yet shocked.

"I mean its eye color changed from red to blue for a split of seconds before it got red." Yi Hua says, exclaiming surprised, "What? But…how can that happen?" Lu Yang Yang gasps, thinking to himself, utterly clueless about what was happening.

"Ah, let's just forget that and move on. I want to reach home already. I can only wish for us to not have appeared that far from the palace." Yi Hua says, shrugging off and taking a few steps ahead, "Uh-huh, Hua."Lu Yang Yang says, looking at himself with a shocked face.

"What happened?" Yi Hua asks, turning around. "The body. I don't have a body." Lu Yang Yang says, floating to her face, "Can anyone see you, except me?" Yi Hua asks, Lu Yang Yang shakes his head no.

"Then there is no need to find a body. Come along." Yi Hua says, gesturing for him to follow her as she walks forward, scanning the village. "But are you sure about this?" Lu Yang Yang questions, slowly floating to her.

"Of course, why not?" Yi Hua says, shrugging off, "It's not like someone can see you." She adds, chuckling.

"That's the problem, Hua. People might mistake you as a weirdo if they see you talking to the air." Lu yang Yang giggles, Yi Hua stops, thinking about it for a second before she gasps, turning around and eyeing Lu Yang Yang.

"Right, I didn't think about that." Yi Hua says, making a face before she chuckles, "Then we gotta find you a body. Unless… don't expect a reply from me." She adds, giggling.

"I am gonna see about that." Lu Yang Yang replies, and they both make their way towards the village, chatting and bickering with each other.

"This is Shinshu village, isn't it?" Yi Hua asks, looking around, the houses were lit and the people were walking along minding their own business, some people were giving a glance at Yi Hua for her high-status clothes that were stained with mud and dirt and not to mention her hair.

"Yeah, we need to walk two more villages to reach the palace." Lu Yang Yang says, sitting on her shoulder, "I am so tired…I cannot walk further." Yi Hua mumbles, "Now that I think of it, I am hungry and thirsty." She adds, caressing her throat which has gone dry.

"Oh, Hua. Mind if you go through your robe? I wonder if you still have a pouch tied to your dress." Lu Yang Yang says, Yi Hua nods her head and caresses her waist and hip areas to find a pouch but she frowns feeling nothing.

"No?" Lu Yang Yang asks, looking down.

Yi Hua shakes her head no, "I can't feel anything." She says, lifting the fabric to see but Lu Yang Yang widens his eyes, "Yah! What are you doing?!" He snaps. Floating before her face,

Yi Hua flinches and lets go of her clothes, "What? I am just trying to see-"

"You are back in the past, you do not want to humiliate yourself with such behavior, do you?" Lu Yang Yang shakes his head in disbelief while Yi Hua flushes, looking around awkwardly before she walks ahead, acting as if nothing happened.

"What do I do now? I need a new set of clothes too, if mom and dad in the palace ask me about this look of mine, what do I say?" Yi Hua says, grabbing her robe and groaning in distress.

"Uh, we can do nothing about that." Lu Yang Yang shrugs off, "Unless… you want to steal." Lu Yang Yang adds, laughing to himself as Yi Hua gives him a look through the corner of her eyes before rolling them and looking ahead.

"I have no choice." Yi Hua says, looking at Lu Yang Yang, smirking before she looks through the crowded and cheerful market. "Are you serious?! I was just kidding!" Lu Yang Yang gasps out in surprise.

"Why not? I have no money and I need a pair of clothes… and a shower too. Also, a few coins if lucky for water and food, don't you think?" Yi Hua says, scanning her surroundings, her eyes squinting while her smirk grows wider, "Are you sure? But-"

"I found the right place." Yi Hua says, looking in a certain direction, Lu Yang Yang frowns, squinting his eyes as he tries to check where her target was, he gasps then looks back at Yi Hua.

"Really?!" He shouts, startling Yi Hua.

"Of course, shower plus clothes. And in my life these places do have food, you know? Why not have a look here?" Yi Hua says, walking ahead while Lu Yang Yang floats after her, "Are you like…really, stealing from a bathhouse?" Lu Yang Yang shouts, once catching up to her.

"Of course, something I like, a decent one with no money." Yi Hua adds, chuckling before she makes her way toward the bathhouse.
