What's hidden behind the shield? (Part - 2)

Confidently she looked ahead. She could sense the shield from which the blood smell was leaking out but everything else was invisible.

Glancing at Joey, she glanced back at Jimmy and Lucas. They flinched by her sudden stare on them as there was something about it that felt different.

"What do you want from us?" Jimmy asked arrogantly with a thought that she want something more after they brought her to the forbidden place. He was sure that she would ask them to help her enter inside and get punishments together with her in name of friendship.

"Please go back! I want you three to leave here or else you all will have to be punished, too, because of me," she said, leaving Jimmy blank.

He was wrong about her and he realized it but that was not enough to change his bad attitude toward her, "Of course, that goes without saying!" he replied.

Joey was reluctant and Lucas felt a little bad, too, for leaving her alone at such a place when she was even younger then them.

Seeing their reluctant face, Jimmy gritted his teeth, "Why are you two acting so nice to a stranger and willing to take such a cruel punishment? We don't even know her name yet, why must you two act so nice to her".

Cassie sighed. She doesn't wished for them to punished, too, so she said quickly, "He is right, you two should leave! If we meet again, I will tell you three my name but for now, you three should go and don't worry, Kye will not hurt me and I know that and I know how to take advantage of that, too".

She gave them a big smile, a soothing and kind one which cheered them, too.

Behind her was the setting sun akin to her from where the good vibe was sparkling brightly. They were mesmerized for a second and then woke up as Jimmy turned back to leave, "If that's the case then we will do as you said".

He glanced at his brothers as if telling them to leave together and before they left, Jimmy showed a faint smile.

So, what was the meaning behind his smile or was I just hallucinating, after all how can such a ill tempered guy smile!

She took a deep breath, her eyebrows which were in relaxed position, soon become furrowed and she turned back with a aim to see what was going on.

I can't see from outside but if I enter he will find out that I am in the forbidden area and who knows what punishment they will give to immature ones but I will make sure to see what's going on inside.

She stepped forward. With her every step, the presence of shield was getting stronger and so that of blood.

She was not feeling nice since it was a shield set by wolves clan but thanks to the locket Kye made her wore at the night time, even if she comes near one of the wolves shield, no one will be able to find out that she is a vampire.

Since she was currently living in the wolves mansion, it was possible for others to find her real identity even though her smell was hidden and it was if someone used their power on her, so to make sure that something like this doesn't happens, Kye gave her the locket filled with his power after she was attacked by the woman who tried to seduce him.

Ready. Set. Go…

she finally stepped inside while looking confidently but it didn't last long as the first thing she saw was five vampires tied on five respective pillars with silvers.

The were half naked and what's more shocking was the pillar which was almost covered in blood. It was shockingly weird that a big pillar could be so bloody and the vampires who were tied on it, looked freshly tortured.

Blood from their jaws, blood from their chest and blood from everywhere. There was a big hole in some parts of their body which showed that the wolves have tried to get their heart but whether they found it or not was still unknown to Cassie.

Even though she didn't wanted her legs and hands to tremble but in truth she was still scared.

While being scared she was a little embarrassed, too, because she knew that this things were something that was happening from more then just a few decades and just because she never did such things as to torture, she knew that it doesn't meant that others didn't do it either!

What more scared her was Kye hands. It was covered with blood and even his big finger nails looked like painted with blood inside and outside. His eyes were cold and seemed bloody as he stared at those vampires expressionlessly.

Then again one question came inside her mind as she looked around and saw the wolves beside Kye.

Why are they killing vampires? Is it because they are their enemies or is there something else? If there is a reason then I wish to know but if it simply is for their satisfaction then I wish to escape this place as soon as possible.

"Hahaha! It really is so fun when it comes to kill those who thinks highly of themselves!!!" Jasper laughed loudly as he carved another wound on the vampires body by his silver knife.

While Kye was saying nothing and looking coldly at them, Jasper was crazily laughing and torturing them. Many others wolves were also there who stared at those vampires as if staring at some garbage.

Cassie hand on her chest and eyes looking down while being tired of looking at those bloods fountain flowing out from her kinds.

So, in the end they are doing this for fun. Huh! And here I was trying to understand their situation for doing such things as to torture lives viciously.

I, the chief of the Vampires, don't have the power to seek revenge instead of them but will never stay with them until I have to stab my own heart.

She breathed furiously and as her eyes met with Jasper, she didn't flinched but gave him a glare in return.. a disgusted glare.

His face darkened as he saw her and eyes turned bigger.

Grey who was writing on some formal documents in midst of the things going in front of him, gasped as he saw the adorned young miss brought by Kye.

He glanced at Kye and then at Cassie, his face pale since he was worried that the young miss might get some bad memories after seeing such cruel scene while at the same time he was worried that she would also get punished by Kye for entering the forbidden areas when she is just a five year old girl.

He notice Kye's hand filled with blood and walked toward Cassie who had a frown on her face.

"Young miss, let me carry you and help you to reach back to your room," he said but gulped confusedly as Cassie stepped back from him.

Her eyes continuously staring at Kye while his, too, didn't moved away from hers but no one said a single thing until Cassie turned back to leave the place that made her uncomfortable.

"Wait! Where are you going?" Kye asked while being stunned as she turned around.

She, who was furious at that moment because of his heartless performance, used his powers residing in the locket and dissapeared.
