Cassie smirked in silence whereas those words hurt Mr. Fez pride. He was about to scold his Steward when his current wife stepped down the stairs in a long shiny gown and stopped him.
"He is our family servant, we don't need an outsider to come and teach him and us on what to do," the woman, who looked seductive yet disgusting said with a smirk.
She was the current Mrs. Fez. Looked no older than a girl in her late twenties. Dark hair tied in a bun and two locks left at each side.
Down turned eyes. Taking small steps, she walked down elegantly.
Cassie eyes scanned her black gown that revealed much of her skin and she wandered – was that lady about to attend a ball or something?
She shrugged her shoulder and something caught her eyes. An emerald pendant in the lady neck that looked suspicious.
She threw a look back at the old Mr. Fez. He was mesmerized by her appearance.
