Found you...Master~

"What is this??" I know that the scythe is alive, but I didn't expect it'll form a body...! This is too sudden even for me. 

"I've been waiting to meet you, Master~" The white girl said while bowing to me. She didn't lift her head since she said that. She's just looking at the ground, her hands are holding her dress and her hair's just swaying through the wind. 

I'm lost in words. I don't even know what to say to her. This is my first time talking to my 'creations'. Usually, I will talk to them while I'm working in my workshop.

Well, I'm a delusional guy who talks to himself every now and then...

But of course I didn't expect them to reply!

In fact, the only thing that they do was giving me mana signals. Such as sending chills all over me or exhaust me in seconds.

"Uhm- How are you, Scythe...?" I brought myself to ask her something.

I'm genuinely scared, like, literally shaking right now.

What??

Can't I be scared of my own creations?? She's a WHOLE DIFFERENT LEVEL compared to mine!!! Her powers are immeasurable. The last thing I want to do is to fight her...

She tilt her head to the back and look at me with her obsidian coloured eyes.

"I'm in a pink of health. How about you, Master?" She asked me calmly.

The tension in the air disappeared in an instant. 

I can finally relax my muscles. It became super tensed all this while because of the atmosphere changed drastically.

"I'm good, Scythe... I had a great time in my life for a whole year, so you don't have to worry..."

I lied so that she won't burst out, destroying the whole continent if she know I was stripped off of my own powers by my very best friend.

I then turned to look at Nadia. I wanted to check whether she's fine or not. Luckily she calmed down a bit and started to breath again. It must've been so hard for her to hold on from the powerful menacing mana aura. 

Nadia coughed badly after she was able to breathe again. She stood from her crouch and glared at the scythe.

"So, this is the legendary weapon that we're looking for?" Nadia said while trying to stand up firm.

But the scythe doesn't even look at her.

Her gaze are on me instead.

She's staring at me with a tiny smirk accompanies with her obsidian eyes that stands out the most from her pale face. 

She opens her mouth and mutters a few words. 

"Slashing and dismantling." 

Suddenly, the atmosphere felt sharp as a knife. Even the wind feels like it could cut me to pieces. 

"KEVIN DODGE!" Nadia yelled at me with her arms all over me, covering my body so that I won't get hurt. 

Nonetheless, I still get a few cuts all over me. 

This is scary as heck. 

I don't know what she wants from me. She just manifests herself and attacks Nadia and the others. 

I stand up tall and walk towards the scythe, despite how painful it is with all these cuts all over me. 

"That's enough, Scythe. No more violence." I'm trying to act strict and be firmed with my words. IT'S HARD OKAY! I AM TRYING MY BEST HERE! 

She just looked at me with teary eyes and fell on her knees. 

"I'm sorry, Master. I acted without thinking." She tried her best to stay calm, while restraining herself not to cry.

This is unexpected. I didn't think that it'll be this easy to stop her. She's such a crybaby, I guess. Such a softhearted little girl, while being one of the most powerful weapons that has ever been created in millennia. 

"I know that I have disappointed you, Master. I promise I won't do it again." The tears in her eyes are now flowing down her cheeks, making her sob like a child. Well, she does look like a child though. 

I approach her gently and get on my knees next to her. I stroke her back as gently as I could, making her lie down on the ground with her head rests on my lap.

She looked like my sister that I never had. 

I don't hate it though. 

I look at Nadia who's watching us with a smile on her face, simply covering her mouth afterwards just to hide her grin from me. 

Nadia then walk towards me, gesturing her hands and fingers while casting her spell. 

"You've been in this form longer than you should, Now return to your old form for good."

She blast a purple hexbolt towards the sleeping child, turning her into the scythe again. 

Looks like we don't need extra persuasion to obtain the scythe like I thought we would. It's a good thing though.

"I don't know how long she will stay in this form, but let's hope that she will until we get out of this place." 

Nadia is scanning our surrounding, it's so messy and chaotic. 

She glances at Kaius just to see what happened to him.

Nadia walks toward Kaius, who's staring blankly at the ground.

I stand up and hold the scythe tight in my arms. I started approaching Nadia and Kaius.

"You think he's going to be alright?" Not that I'm concerned about him, just being nosy. Hehehehe.

Nadia covers Kaius' face using her hand and purple light shines from it. 

"Oh, he'll be alright~" Nadia smirked devilishly. 

As the light shines brighter over time, Kaius' size drastically shrinks, turning him into an Atlas Beetle.

"What the-?" 

What the heck just happened??

Did she just casually turned a man, A FREAKING GROWN MAN, into an insect??

"Oh, this is nothing, dear. I suggest for you to form a contract with him right now." 

Huh?? Contract?? 

"He's a human though."

"Was, a human. Right now, he's nothing more than a mere magical beetle." Nadia casually flips her hair as usual.

This bug- 

I'm going to teach her lesson once we get out from here, that's for sure!

"One more question. What did you mean by 'a mere magical beetle'? Won't he turn back into human eventually?" 

"I changed his whole DNA to turn him into this very rare creature that we're seeing right now. Yes, he will turn into his human form, but it will take a while before he'll be able to do so. Besides, it needs a lot of magical powers to change form you know." She picks up the beetle and smile proudly. 

*PANG*

I smacked her head with the back of the scythe.

"WAHHHH!!! WHAT THE HELL?? WHAT WAS THAT FOR?? I COULD'VE DIED FOR REAL YOU KNOW???" 

To be honest, she could've really died, since I used the scythe to hit her.

"That's just the beginning. We will discuss this further when we get home." I said this without looking at her. 

She rubs her head with tears in her eyes and pouting mouth. 

"yeah, yeah..."

I pick up Kaius the Beetle from the ground and form a contract with him. 

Kaius the Beetle is glowing like crazy when I finished the contract ritual. It's too bright, I dropped him on the ground accidentally.

Surprisingly, Kaius turns back into his human form with slightly different appearance. His blonde hair from before his 'transformation' has turned black. He also grew a pair of beetle wings and two beetle horns on his forehead, but that doesn't change the fact that he's still attractive as usual...

Uhm... Did I forget to tell you that he's half-naked right now? Yeah! But with body like that I'm sure there's nothing to be ashamed of.

This world is unfair.

Hehe. Just kidding! You think I was that jealous of his body? Pleasee! My body has almost the same features as his, you know! What?? Didn't believe me?? Suits yourself. Hmph-!

Kaius gets on his knees. 

"My deepest apologies, Master, for attacking you before this." He doesn't even raise his head; instead, he just stares directly at the ground. 

Nadia is holding her laugh at the back right now. The way her shoulder giggles, I know she's enjoying this.

She might need a second beating from me later.

"Uhh, it's okay, Kaius. Everything went well in the end." I said as I'm using my hands to lift his arms. 

Kaius rises from his knees and stand up straight. 

"No need to be so formal, Kaius." I don't like formality actually.

Since my life has been a total slack off, so I despise formality so darn much.

"I have a favor to ask from you, Master." Kaius said while staring at the ground.

I lift his head with my palms touching both of his cheeks. Screaming the phrase "Speak to me, Child~"

I'm excellent at being delusional.

"Ask away, Kaius." I said with a serious face and voice tone.

Kaius looks at me and ask, "Master, can you bestow upon me a new name?"

Huh?? The heck?

New name? For what? He already has his name though...

"Don't get me wrong. It's just that we formed a contract recently and I'm no longer a human, so by bestowing me a name would drastically improve my powers to exceed the limits I once had as a human." 

He explained this very well. It's like he was not a human a while ago.

I don't know where he got this information, but I need to think this through.

"Oh come on, sugar. Just bestow him with a new name. Let me pick! We can call him Roasted Skypork! Yummm." Nadia's eyes are all over the sky and did I see a drool from her mouth-??

Kaius' face looks blank. He's so confused right now, I can tell.

Haha cute.

"Well, clearly, we won't be using the 'Roasted Skypork' as your name." I glared at Nadia.

She flips her hair, as usual.

For some reason, Kaius looks disappointed.

Am I only being surrounded by weirdos??

Enough with that, I need to think of a suitable name for him.

He looks strong, muscular, handsome, fair skin tone with black hair. The most suitable name for him would be...

Lucifer? No, that is too cliche.

On top of that, he's a beetle though, an Atlas Beetle. So we can call him OniKabuto...?

That's too long.

Maybe, OniKato?

Hmm...

Still too long. It doesn't hit right though.

Perhaps, Onito?

WAIT!

I GOT IT!

"Nito! Your name will be Nito!" 

Kaius, or shall I say Nito, looks very satisfied. His eyes lit up, and his cheekbones turned slightly red.

"How is it? Do you like it?"

"I love it. Thank you, Master." Nito said this with a very cute smile on his face.

What is this?

Is he glowing?

His smile is as dangerous as I thought, even though I'm only imagining his smile would glow brightly, 'cause, he's cute! Didn't realize it could really burn my eyes...

Wait.

No.

He really is glowing! 

Nadia just spectates us from the back with a smile on her face, while holding the scythe.

The light stopped glowing and I can finally see Nito. 

He doesn't look that much of a difference, just that his aura is very strong...and sharp too.

"What happened?" I asked, 'cause I really don't know.

"I had a power up moment just now." He take a look at his body and hands to see any difference.

"Woahh, you might as well become the 'Demon Lord' in the future." 

Nito just smiles bashfully with his hand and waves a 'No thank you' gesture. 

To be honest with you, I'm seeing a bright future for this young man. 

Luckily I saved him from The Hero's party. It's kinda toxic environment to live in, if you ask me.

It does count as saving, right?

Anyways, let's get out of here. I'm getting uncomfortable.

I take a glance to look at Nadia, who's behind us.

"Nadia if you please." I said.

"On it."

Nadia open her arms widely, chanting her spell;

"In fighting battles we are the best, Now take us home so we can rest."
