Blood party in town

I woke up in the morning with a hungry stomach. I hate when I'm craving something directly after I woke up. I guess this is what happens when you eat late at night…

I turn to look beside me on the bed and saw Nadia's sleeping like a doll in her Dumb Form. Well, she will look totally cute if she doesn't have two horns on her head.

Now, she looks like a sassy fairy.

*Knock-knock*

I get off the bed and head towards the door.

Without my shirt, I open the door and saw the girl from yesterday. She stares at my bare upper muscular body without blinking for a while then proceed to ask me.

"Here's your breakfast, mister. Is there anything I can help you with?"

Ahhh~ she has a warm and nice smile. Her smile is super cute. And she smells nice too. For a second she reminds me of a garden full of roses.

"Uh…No- I mean thank you but no thank you…"

"Well then, I will be on my way. Have a nice meal~" I shut the door and place the breakfast on the table. The smell is delightful.

Nadia smells the delicious food and cheered happily.

She got up and yawned while stretching her arms and wings.

She fly faster over my shoulder and head towards the breakfast on the table and eat it. It's like she only has food in that small brain of hers.

"Oh I see now…No greetings, just eat- okay cool." I mocked her as I'm taking some of her foods from her plates. She glared at me with her murderous stare and made me almost choked on my food.

Great! Number one rule, don't mess with her appetites.

A few minutes after she gobbled the food like a pig, her attitude's changed.

From gloomy and moody to happy AND cheerful AND talkative AND hyper AND gluttony AND so on…

"Sooo, what are we going to do today?" She asked with her glittering eyes and annoying smile.

"Well...We, my Dumb One, are going to clear our mission in the Forbidden Forest." I said while heading to my backpack on the bed.

"Oh right...You know, human, we are going to kill this mission!" She said as she's preparing to dive in the tub with her handkerchief. I turn around to look at the tub.

"Wait! I was going to use it first-" Before I could finish my sentences, Nadia already dived in the tub.

I can only sigh.

Why must I deal with this?

God~ Forgive me for my sin that I've committed.

I glared at her again and said. "What makes you think it's gonna be easy?"

She grinned while floating like an apple in the tub. I said apple because the way she floats on the surface of the water really reminds me of an apple being washed away by a stream.

Besides, she's kind of fat...

"You have me, right?~ We will win for sure!" She said with prideful facial expression.

I take a sit on my bed facing the tub.

"Are you that strong? Like, no offense, but I only captured you because the townspeople said there was a demon in the Illusion Forest. Which near my hometown. You could say that it's a coincidence..."

She get out of the tub and fly straight at me.

"Oh please~ It is not a coincidence that you found me in the first place, sugar. Have you heard of Fate?"

I get up and head to the bathtub, then undress myself.

"I don't believe in coincidence." I said while getting in the tub.

"Then, it's your lost. I am incredibly strong. Besides, I am the Queen of Illusion Forest after all." She said as she flew towards the window.

She opens it and mutters "Windy~"

All of the sudden, a warm gentle wind blows through the window as Nadia is drying her body using the wind.

"Yeah yeah, I believe you-" I shut my eyes and relaxed myself in the tub.

After an hour of preparing ourselves in our room, we go to the receptionist for our checkout.

"Hello there, good morning~" I said to the receptionist lady with a warm bright smile.

"Hello, mister. Good morning to you too. Looks like you had a great time here." She said as I give her my room key.

"Oh yes. The meals were super delectable!" I ain't going to lie though...The foods were spectacular. Well, I did pay a fortune for it. But, it's worth it.

Nadia's invisible every time we're in public.

I asked her to stay in her necklace but she refused and said "I am a demon! I prefer the freedom~" while flipping her hair for billionth of times.

It's not like she can go far away without her necklace though.

I just don't want people to spread out rumours about me taming a demon.

"Thank you for the stay, mister. Hope to see you again!" The receptionist said while waving her hand.

She is super nice.

Which doesn't remind of someone~

I glared at Nadia who's flying next to me. She stuck out her tongue at me and proceed to fly away.

I swear to god, sometimes, I regret capturing her.

I walk to the market to buy some stuffs and it's not crowded here. Maybe because it's only 10 o'clock and the townspeople are still sleeping.

How did I know that?

Oh, simple.

It's freaking quiet out here except for the salespersons.

Well, good for us I guess. Nadia is enjoying herself at a jewelry stall nearby.

"Wowww! They have tons of antics jewelry here, Kevin! I freaking love it!!" She's soo noisy. Luckily she's using her 'concealing spell'.

I stopped at one of the gear stall and saw lots of good gears.

I want it so badly, but I don't have my money anymore.

I'm broke af-

I put my hands together and pray.

"Oh god, grant me tons of gold that fall from the sky~"

I tilt my head to look at the sky for a sign and saw a flying bug.

Never mind, it's only Nadia...

I was just about to get disappointed then I realized...

IT'S NADIA!!

"Hey Nadia!" I called her softly.

"Huh?" She heard me and stopped flying to look.

She fly towards me then asked. "What is it, human?"

"Gimme money, pwease~" I said in a cute voice and a little baby blink.

When I look at her with hope, I noticed her face blanked when she look at me. It feels like she's judging me with her demonic fairy stares.

One look felt embarrassing, the second felt contemptuous.

"WELL SAY SOMETHING!!!"

She grinned.

"Alright, human. You can have my money."

"Wow! Really?"

I can't believe it was this easy to ask for money from someone like her.

BUT wasn't it too easy? She must've want something from me.

"IF-" She muttered.

Here it comes.

"You buy me that brown candy over there." She pointed at the chocolate stall behind her.

"W-What?" I needed confirmation.

"I said I want that brown candy over there." She continued to point at the stall.

"Oi Dumb One. You could ask me for anything, instead you asked for chocolate? You really are messed up when you're in that form huh?~"

"Ohhh~ So that candy is called chocolate? Nice! Buy me that, human." She didn't even care that I judged her. It feels like she only cares about the chocolate.

"Fine. I'll buy it for you."

"YEAYYY!!!" She twirled in the air happily.

Nadia fly towards my chest and touches her necklace.

She muttered.

"Gold~"

And a small sack of gold appeared in front of my feet.

"There you go, human." She flips her hair.

"NICE!!!"

I pick up the sack and choose a pair of boots.

"Here is the money, ma'am." I handover her the money.

"Ahh~ Thank you so much, mister. By the way, those boots will definitely look good on you." She said with a smile on her face. It was a soft and warm smile just like the receptionist and a girl from the inn.

"Now buy me the chocolate, human." She pulled my shirt and fly towards the stall.

"Okay okay I'm coming." I followed her pulling directions and stopped in front of the chocolate stall.

"Hello, sir. I would love to buy two boxes of chocolates please."

"Hello, mister. Sure thing~" They're super smiley here. I took the chocolates and paid for it.

I then proceed to put the sack into my backpack.

After that, we headed to the bench near the market, in front of a waterfall. The townspeople greeted me with smile on their faces. They compliment me in all ways possible.

Then, I sit on the bench around the fountain. It is so comfy and relaxing...

As I think so, before I heard gobble sounds from Nadia when she is eating her chocolate. I clenched my fist and readied to punch her, but I hold it in. Because this bug needs her source of energy in order for me to exploit her magical powers.

Yup! That's the plan.

I take a handful of chocolates and shove it in her mouth.

MUAHAHAHAHA EAT BUG! EAT!! GIMME YOUR MAGICAL POWERS!!!

"OIWGHHHH!!!" Nadia pushed my hand and swallowed the chocolate in her mouth.

"AHHHH~" She let out a relieved sigh.

"YAAAAAA!!!" She burst out and screamed at me. I'm shocked from her scream that leave me speechless.

"WHAT DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING!!!" She fly in front of my face with her left hand is holding her waist and her right arm starts to poke my forehead repeatedly using her tiny index finger.

"Owwww..." It's not that hurt but I couldn't help to let out a soft moan.

"I thought that you would generate more magical powers if you eat a lot..." I tried reasoning with her.

"I admit that it's true BUT that doesn't mean it will gradually increase my magical powers! We have to eat a LOT, not eat FASTER!!" She poked my forehead again.

"Ahhh~ I see. Sorry, I haven't had my magical powers for a year now. I kinda forgot about it. Hehehe..." I laughed it off.

"ARGHHHH!!! FINE! I'll let it off this one time, human! If you ever do that again, I will freaking kill you~!" She warned me as her eyes glowed bright purple.

I feel her murderous aura's increasing every words she said.

"Well, it's kinda fun to mess with you, Nadia. Since I'm your master, you cannot hurt me~" I poked her tiny cheek. Her face turns bright red and she sits on the bench beside me, facing away.

"Tch- This bug..." I said while shoving a chocolate in my mouth.

Not gonna lie, it's not that bad.

*8 hours have passed*

When did I fall asleep?

"mh-"

I try to call out for Nadia, but my mouth won't move. I try to open my eyes too but it won't obey me. It's like my eyes are sealed shut.

I'm feeling somewhat strange all over my body. It's like I'm being strangled all over my limbs.

I'm having a bad feeling about this.

So, I try forcing my eyes to open. I can't see but my ears are picking up lots of sounds from my surroundings. I recognize some of their voices since I've walked around this town the moment I got here yesterday.

It's the townspeople!

But it doesn't sound like a conversation at all.

In fact, it sounded like a cheer.

Feet?

No, FEAST!!! They're saying FEAST.

But for what?

Are they planning on throwing a celebration party or something? Because if they do, I need to wake up fast before that damn fairy finishes it all.

Besides, I love parties!

Suddenly, I heard Nadia's voice. I try to open my eyes but it won't move.

I give up.

So I try listening to what she's mumbling about.

It sounds like "Waka oppa?"

What is this bullshit?

Is she listening to a K-Pop song or something? I try listening to her again.

"WAKE UP!!!"

Then, out of the blue, I felt a tiny hand slapped my face hard.

"AHHHHH!!!"

It was a VERY tiny hand, but why did it hurt so bad??

Without further ado, I immediately open my eyes and saw the townspeople are gathering in front of me. I look around and saw some of the townspeople are holding a torch each.

LIKE WHAT IN HELL IS GOING ON?!?! I CAN'T EVEN MOVE MY HANDS AND FEET!! WHAT IS THIS? ROPES?? AM I A FREAKING ANIMAL HERE?! WHY AM I BEING CONTAINED?!?!

"KEVIN!" I turned my head towards Nadia.

"I don't know what's going on. But after I woke up on the bench, I tried looking for you but I couldn't find you. Then, I decide to use my powers to locate my necklace, then I finally found you here!" She didn't get caught by these people because of her invisibility spell.

Thank the gods!

"What happened?" I asked her quietly.

"These people are monsters! They eat adventurers that came here to stay after a very long journey. They purposely take care of us so that we will taste even better...THAT IS BATSHIT!" She explained the details to me.

I can't believe it.

Like, they were so nice! I'm trying to look for the receptionist and the girl from the inn in the crowd. I was hoping they weren't here, but clearly I was wrong.

This whole townspeople came and gathered here to eat me.

"What are we going to do, Kevin?" Nadia asked me while looking at the crowd.

"I- I don't know..." I can't even think properly. My arms are hurting and I can't move my feet.

"Want me to kill them, human? I just need your words and they will puke insects and blood~!" Nadia said this while looking at the crowd angrily.

"I-" Before I could finish my sentence, a man with dark clothes and black tall hat with biggest torch shouted.

"CITIZENS OF VADISIA!! WE HAVE NOW CAPTURED A MAN WITH HIGH MAGICAL POWERS TO FEED!!!"

"YEAHHHHHHH!!!!" The townspeople cheered.

What??

High magical powers?!

Are they blind or something? I have no magical po-

Wait a minute...

I turn to look at Nadia.

Yup! It's her! They've mistaken me for her! Aiyooo~

"WE NEED TO DRINK THIS MAN'S BLOOD AND EAT HIS FLESH IN ORDER TO GAIN ETERNAL LIFE!! BECAUSE WE ARE CREATURES OF THE NIGHT!!! WE...ARE...VAMPIRES!!!" The crowd cheered for him after he finished his sentences.

"I can't let them have the way they want!" I turned my head towards Nadia.

"NADIA!!!" She turned around.

"Huh?" She's confused, well so am I.

But that won't stop us.

"Let's kill them..." I frowned. I'm so mad that they lied to me by pretending to be nice and caring. I really thought they were sincere.

"As you wish, Master~" Nadia grinned devilishly.

Nadia cancelled her invisibility spell that concealed her appearance and voice but she still a fairy-like demon.

The people of Vadisia has gone mad!

They keep on mumbling the word *Demon*, while pointing their fingers towards Nadia. Looks like they have dislikes over demons.

Nadia then mutters. "Hell Flame~"

And the ropes on my limbs are burned away. It doesn't hurt, but I'm free at last!

"Let's go, Nadia!" I hyped her.

"Ung!" She nod in agreement.

I touch the necklace and say. "Nadia! Weapon!"

All of the sudden, Nadia's appearance change from a fairy to a huge duel bladed axe. It was dark purple and black in colour. The blades of the axe are so sharp and wide.

Suddenly, an information about this axe is installed in my brain. It informed me about the abilities and skills of this axe.

I'm not ready for a fight. It was too sudden.

Yes, I wanted to fight them, but I hesitated.

I'm scared.

I can't believe they lied in front of my FACE!!!

"Well, don't just stand here. FIGHT, HUMAN!" I heard Nadia's voice echoed in my head. This isn't the time to be shocked by the situations.

"Alright!" I rushed in the middle of the crowd and started to slash aimlessly. I'm not familiar in combat. Even when I had magical powers, I've been in my lab my whole life. This is the first time I had to fight.

I'm scared.

Some of the townspeople are charging at me and some of them tries to grab me. Some manage to injure me with their claws.

They are absolute BEAST!!

I...Can't...Do...This...

As I was contemplating with my life in the middle of a battle, one of the townspeople threw a knife at me. It penetrates my shoulder and I accidentally lose Nadia's axe in the crowd. The crowd kicked away the axe and started to hold me in place. They snarled at me.

"WE CAN FINALLY BE IMMORTAL!!!"

The townspeople begin to bite my limbs together. I feel their cold fangs penetrating my skin.

I tried to yell from the pain, but I can't. My mouth won't move, my voice won't come out and my body won't even budge.

Nadia change her form from an axe back to her fairy form.

She fly up high over the crowd to look for me. She even yelled out my name.

"KEVINNN!!!" She kept on calling my name until she saw me in the crowd, as the townspeople are biting my limbs.

I'm too busy contemplating about my life to bother feeling the pain that I'm supposed to feel.

My eyes are blank.

"This can't be happening!" Nadia flew higher in the sky, among the clouds she raised her tiny fairy hands above her head and recite her incantation.

"O' Mighty Rain~ Hear my plea, Call upon your stormy friend and wash away my enemy~ By forming flood, with rain and thunder, Drain them away make them zero in number!"

All of the sudden, the sky become dark as a stormy night as the thunderclouds gathered above the town.

The ground shakes heavily, making the townspeople drop me on the ground and scatter around like ants, screaming.

"NOOOOOO!! THE DEMON HAS GONE MAD!!! WE'RE GOING TO DIE!!!"

I'm laying on the ground with bite marks all over me. Most of my blood have been sucked away by those people.

As soon as I heard the thunder crackling in the sky, my eyes weren't blank anymore. I can feel the pain caused by the vampires' bite marks.

"AHHHHHHHH!!!" IT HURTS LIKE HELL!! I DON'T THINK I CAN LIVE ANYMORE! IT FEELS LIKE MY LIFE IS ABOUT TO END-

Suddenly, I feel a drop of water fall down on my cheek. I thought it was just my imagination, then, drops of water came falling down from the sky.

It is so refreshing but it stings when the water touches my wounds. My wounds are so deep that the water will seep through and I can feel it touches my flesh inside my body.

It stings and hurts like hell, but better than being sucked away by vampires.

I force my body to move so I can stand up.

It was hard, but I managed.

I heard the townspeople are all screaming.

"STOPPP!!! HELPPPP!!!" They tried to avoid the thunders that strikes all of them continuously, but failed miserably.

After that, I felt a touch on my body as if someone's hugging me from the back. I turn to look and saw Nadia with an annoying smile of hers.

I usually hate to see that annoying smile of hers, but this time it made me glad that I got to see her smile again.

One thing is different, because she is in her demoness form.

I totally forgot that she is a demon.

"Heh- You couldn't even protect yourself, how will you fight the Legendary Hero??" She nagged as she lift my body in the stormy sky, using her magic to heal me.

We fly using her big demon wings.

To be honest, I'm more worried about the sky than her insults. Like, wouldn't we'll get struck by lightning in this stormy sky??

I look below us and saw flood, washing away the whole town until there's nothing left but rubbles.

Therefore, Nadia fly me over back to the Illusion Forest.

We fly over the forest and landed in front of her castle.

She release me from her hold.

"You could've told me that you aren't capable of combat, human~" She said with her hands on her mouth trying so hard not to laugh. Her gaze are so annoying. It's like she's judging me.

"Yeah yeah- That's why I must have strong magical items." I reasoned with her.

"Duhh~ You clearly need it, darling~" She flips her hair.

I'm so freaking embarrassed!

"By the way, no wonder you're strong, Nadia. You're a royalty-" I complimented her but she just flip her hair again like she always do.

This bug seriously needs help from a specialist.

While we're talking outside of the castle, the entrance opened by a servant.

Since when she had servants in this castle??

I went into the castle yesterday for the first time, but it was empty...

"Welcome back, My Queen~" Bowed the servant dressed in maid outfit.

She looked no more than 20 years old. I'm guessing her age is between 13-16 years old.

"My loyal servant~ Take us to the throne chamber." Nadia ordered her.

The maid said without hesitation. "Yes, My Queen."

We enters the castle and the hall is full of servants. There are all kinds of females. From young to old. From humans to beasts and many more.

They all stopped what they were doing and bowed to us.

Well, they bowed to Nadia to be precise...

After Nadia walk passed them, they stopped bowing even though I'm walking behind their queen.

CAN'T THEY JUST PRETEND AND BOW TO ME?! LET A MAN DREAM!!! BESIDES, I AM HER MASTER YOU KNOW!!

I glared at those maids. I'm holding grudges towards them! When I said I hold grudges, I meant it!! A tear fell down on my cheek.

"Now we're talking, servant~ What a beautiful throne you have here for me! You have done it again after a whole decade~" Nadia complimented the servant who walked us to the throne chamber.

"It's nothing much, My Queen. Besides, it's your order after all. And your orders are absolute!" The servant said with a calm but firm voice.

"My apologies for asking this, My Queen. But, who is this man? Is he your new pet? If so, then let me bring him to the dungeon."

WHAT THE FVCK?!?! THE DUNGEON?? DID SHE REALLY DO THAT ALL THESE YEARS??? I FEEL LIKE I WANNA PEE MYSELF!!

Me and Nadia exchanged our stares.

"fufufufu~" She laughs and said. "He's not unfortunately..."

WHAT DID SHE MEAN BY UNFORTUNATELY??? DID SHE REALLY HAVE A PLAN TO MAKE ME HER PET??? LUCKILY I TAMED HER BEFORE SHE COULD DO SO.

"He's my Master~" Nadia said while walking towards me.

The maid look at me and laughs.

"Apologies, My Queen. But please answer me truthfully~"

SHE DARES UNDERESTIMATE ME?!

"It's the truth, servant." Nadia said this while grabbing my hand and glares at the maid.

"Apologies, My Queen!" She dropped on her knees with her gaze on the ground.

"Come on and sit on this throne, human. It's yours now~"

She suddenly encourages me to sit on the throne.

"B- But it's yours..." I can't possibly accept it-

"You're my Master aren't you?" She said while tapping her necklace around my neck with her index finger.

"Well, if you say so..." I proceeded to sit on the throne.

Nadia then calls for all of her servants. "Gather around, servants~" She said with a soft voice.

I don't think they're going to hear her.

Or so I thought...

All of the sudden, all of her maids gathered in the chamber. I don't even know how they fit themselves in this chamber. But on second thought, this chamber is humongous. There are even palace guards and advisors.

They all stand quietly. Not a single sound has been made.

Welp-

This is awkward...

"Pst- Dumb one!" I called her quietly.

"Yeah?" She turned to look at me with arrogance and pride all over her face. I can tell that she's trying to brag about her minions.

Tch- Arrogant af-

"I didn't know you have minions this many..."

"Surprised?" She flips her hair. "Should be~" She continued. I glared at Nadia and touched her necklace with a grinned on my face.

"Listen to me, my loyal servants!" She panicked and started her speech.

"This man right here is my Master! You all must obey him just like you obeys me. HAVE I MADE MYSELF CLEAR?!" The chamber shook like crazy once she finished her sentences.

"YES, MY QUEEN!" They all said and bowed towards me and Nadia.

"Spread my words involve this matter!" She commanded them.

"Yes, My Queen!" They said again in agreement.

"Now, leave this chamber." She said while waving her hand away.

Without hesitation, all of the servants left this chamber.

"UGHH-" Nadia sighed heavily.

She then hop and turn into her Dumb Form.

"Haa~ Much better." She landed on my lap and eat her berries. Don't ask me where she got her berries. I don't even wanna know-

After a few hours of sitting down and did a thinking, I came up with a cool idea.

"Oi, Dumb One!"

"Mmh?" She tilt her head to look at me above her head.

"Do you have any library in this castle of yours?" I asked .

"Library?" She's confused.

"Yeah! You must've a library here, right? What sort of castle that doesn't have a library?" I said.

"OF COURSE I HAVE A LIBRARY HERE! What do you take me for? An uneducated Queen?~" She flips her hair.

"Great! Then lead me to it." Nadia hopped off from my lap and fly away. I followed her.

Her castle is like a maze. One wrong turn and you will be lost forever. It's just like the name of this forest...

"We're here." Nadia opened the library door and Oh My God! IT'S FREAKING HUGE!!!

It will take days to find what I'm looking for here.

"What do you want to do here, human?" She asked as we entered the library. I tailed behind her.

"I knew that the legendary scythe is in the Forbidden Forest. But we don't know the exact location of the scythe."

"You're right." Nadia agreed. The Forbidden Forest is just the name for it, but we all thinks that it is a monster. Since the forest can talk and move.

It's different from Illusion Forest because Illusion Forest only release it's magical powers to mess with one's mind. On the other hand, Forbidden Forest behaves just like an animal.

"Tell me the book you've been looking for. I might help. I've memorized all books in here~" Nadia said while flipping her hair arrogantly.

"You? Read books? Questionable..."

"HEY!! YOU WANT MY HELP OR NOT?!"

"Yes, My Queen!" I get on my knees.

"fufufufufu~" She laughed with her tiny hand's covering her mouth like some rude noble would do.

We spent hours of reading and found nothing.

"Ughhh- I'm hungryy~" Nadia complained as she flipped the pages of the books aggressively.

"Yeah me too-" I agreed with her. We've been doing nothing but reading since yesterday night and now the sun's setting, ON A NEW DAY!!! The whole library is in a mess. Mountains of books everywhere.

As I was about to give up, Nadia found something useful in her last book.

"YAAA KEVIN!!! I THINK I FOUND IT!!" I immediately rushed over to Nadia who's on the other side of the table. I also tripped over a sea of books but that didn't stop me to swim towards Nadia!

I read the information in the book and...
