"Consult with Death?" Henry was momentarily stupefied.
Maldream nodded, explaining, "Life and death are ultimately choices made by fate. As the monarch of the deceased, Death's understanding of fate far surpasses mine."
Henry touched his nose and smiled wryly, nodding in agreement, "I understand."
He did have a way to contact Death.
When he had left Death's realm, Death had given him and Fatima a small iron piece for communication.
However, Henry was aware that Death was attempting to ascend to the third-tier deity level and had entered a deep slumber to prevent the madness that often accompanied such an ascent.
Would seeking his help during this time displease him?
"Do you think Death is the kind of deity who kills indiscriminately?" Henry asked Maldream.
