Thinking about her hectic day, Journee moved towards the library. It was an action-packed day for her. First, she had to leap into action to get the drug and then she had to fight with her seniors. Then she drove on New York streets like a maniac and even after she came back home, Stephen was there to cause chaos.

That idiot could have been shot either by Journee or by Kay. He really should have called ahead. And even after all that drama, she didn't have any time to relax, she had to call her father. William scolded her to his heart's content. She knew he was angry because she put her life in danger.

She knew he lost so much in his life, and he would break if he lost her too. She closed her eyes and slouched her shoulder after she realized that she pushed his daughter's kidnapping case into the back seat. Zachary and Zion were taking up all her time. She mentally made a note to start working on that soon.
