Display of over-affection

Somehow, Journee slept back that night. Now, not only she had to deal with her emotions, she had to deal with Kay's feelings too. She never thought about what was going on in his mind, how was he coping with losing Zayden whom he considered his family. She never thought that that day not only she lost her, but Kay also lost his family.

Being a parent, he made sure that she would get every help she needed but she never realized that he too needed help. For a good detective, she proved that she was a stupid detective that she could not even detect Kay's feelings, Kay's sad past. From now on, she had to take Kay to the doctor too. He too needed to talk to a therapist. He too needed help.
