Secret Relationship…

Since they have already talked about most of their business the contract was easily prepared and placed before Zay on the table.

"Before sighing the contract…" Asher started " I want to discuss some important things so that there won't be any mishaps".

She said nothing but blankly stared at him telling him to continue. As on cue he continued…

"I want to ask who will supervise this project on your side?" he asked.

"Who do you want to supervise?" she asked back. If he is particularly asking this question then that means he already has someone in this mind. She initially thought she will be the one to supervise but if he already decided then she can't do anything about it.

"I want you to supervise" he said seriously implying there is no room for negotiation.

"May I know why?"

"Just making sure that nothing goes wrong…you see that project is very important to me" he said with unfathomable gaze.He doesn't even know why he want to build a resort in that place very badly . Just something told him do so.

Zay said nothing but stared at him for a while and finally agreed with his request. Both of them sighed their contract.

After sighing the contact Zay made her way to the parking lot of the Innova. As expected that person was standing there leaning against at his car obviously waiting for her. But she didn't change her direction to her car. Seeing this that person eyebrow twisted. 'This nerve of this girl' he thought. Since she didn't do anything to acknowledge him. He made his way to her.

"Hey Zay…" he greeted her standing at a decent distance.

"Hello Aziel…" she acknowledged him at last.

"How have you been?" he asked trying to strike a conversation.

She just nodded his head and didn't exert any effort to help the conservation. 'Again!!…getting on my nerves' he thought…annoyed at her. Both of them stood there silently. He was trying hard to think of something that would help him ask her about that incident in the lift. He knew she wouldn't answer that easily but it's always worth the try. He was still standing there when suddenly Zay asked…

"How is Cara?" she asked. This one question is enough for him to forgot everything. He stood still obviously caught off guard by her question. After a moment his face visibly softened at her name.

"She is fine" he said with genuine smile. Just thinking about her will make him have soft and warm demeanour. "Ahh…yes her birthday is coming up…would you like to join us to celebrate her birthday with her? he asked her with hesitation. "She will be very happy to have you there" he said to her looking far away…with happy yet with the sad smile…his eyes containing some nostalgic feelings.

She hesitated for a while but eventually agreed. "I would love to" she answered with same softness in her eyes.

"Then I will arrange everything" he happily said and proceeded leave so that he could make arrangements…completely forgetting his reason to talk to Zay in the first place.

Zay stared at his retreating back for a while until he disappeared from her view. Assistant Mel and secretary Kelly who are until now kept a safe distance from their boss so that she could have some privacy with Aziel couldn't not believe their eyes when they saw that happy look on his face. Who wouldn't know of him…The Aziel. In the business world he is quite ruthless… a sly one too. Who wouldn't have thought that he would have this expression too.

"Do you think he loves our boss?" assistant Mel asked in a whisper. Kelly stared at him stupidly.

"Are you really dumb or are you pretending to be dumb? Didn't you their expression? They both had a soft look on their eyes when talking to each other bu—"

"I know…right!!" he exclaimed "they both love each other very deeply to have such a expression. they must be in secret relationship oh my god that's like the scenario in my novel. Our boss must have agreed to go on a date with him that's why he looked so happy. I am so happy for our boss!!" Kelly can almost see the heart atmosphere around him. She helplessly shook her head.

"Can you at least let me finish?" she finally asked while rubbing her temple.
