Safe and Alive…

Although they have sealed their collaboration they have yet to sign the contract. Since Ash saw her behave like that. He demanded that they meet in one of the their companies. Agreeing to his demand she volunteered that she would come to his office since she has something to do in somewhere which happens to close to his workplace. He instantly agreed to it.

Outskirts of the city

In a cafe

Zay entered a cafe and made her way towards corner of the shop. Since it is located in the outskirts chances of formation of crowd is highly unlikely. In the corner a man fully dressed in the black seated there. Although he fully covered his face with hood and mask nothing can conceal his grey eyes. Customers could not help turn their head towards his direction every now and then. Hearing the footsteps approaching he urned his head to her direction. His eyes instantly brightened. She just nodded her head in acknowledgment and sat opposite of him.

"Zay…can I have my favourite?" he asked childishly even though he is more than 20 years old.

She nodded her head and looked at her assistant giving order silently. Mel nodded his head and went to place the order and Kelly tagged along with him. She turned her head and looked at his face which filled with excitement.

"Zion…"she started looking at him carefully "I want you to go abroad" she finished. As expected his face fell right away. But somehow he regained his cheerful mode and asked…

"Is there anything you want me to investigate?" he asked with his heart pounding in his rib cage painfully. Even though he knew the answer himself he hoped it is not what he thinks it is.

"No Zion…you know what I mean" she said.

"No I don't " he said angrily. "Didn't I do it cleanly? Why are you pushing me away? Please sis don't push me away…please let me help you" he choked on his words. Tears filled his eyes.

" Zion you need to understand… I want you to go to abroad to work in one of our branches…I am not pushing you away I would never do that…you are like my brother—"

"Then let me help you please" he pleaded.

"But Zion I want you to be safe…I don't want you to get hurt…I don't want to lose you too…I have only you Zion now…so far the job did was placing the evidence at the right place at the right time and I must say you did a fantastic job" she said looking intently at him seeing for any reaction but he is listening carefully she continued.

"But things will become complicated here after. They would surely notice this time since the last person you placed evidence for is in higher authority. And I don't want you involve in this mess deeper that you already did. I want you to be safe and alive. I want you to have a normal and happy life. So leave everything to me Zion…" she finished "please…"she added in the end. Seeing his tear filled eyes her heart broke but she want him to be safe. She will do everything to protect him something she failed to do before.

Seeing his sister like figure beg him to be safe pained him to no end. Zay was his best friend Zayne's sister. But she treated him like her like own. Not only her but her whole family treated him like their own. Since he is a orphan at birth he doesn't know what it is feels like to have a family…what it feels like to be loved by mom, dad…what it is feels like to have siblings that is until he met Heldon family. They loved him so much…they showed him everything he wanted to feel. Life would be so good if things reminded the way it is…but alas that incident happened ruining everything.

Assistant Mel placed his order in front of him snapping him out of his thoughts.

"Okay Zay…I will do as you say but…" he agreed. She sighed in relief and gestured him to continue "I want to stay here beside you…I am not going abroad leaving you here all alone" he finished sternly.
