Chapter 16: Found the one
Krishna came up to me after he finished up the paperwork.
“Are you alright? You fell down in class while we were reading ‘The Catcher in the Rye,’” Krishna asked me.
“I feel fine. Why did you carry me by yourself? You could have woken me up by splashing some water on my face or you could have asked for some help. Why did you carry me?” I asked him. He was swift and firm. He did not want to show any emotions.
“I helped you. You should not be questioning me” his eyes were wandering around the room.
“Did you get scared?” He looked down. “Be honest with me if you want me to consider your real feelings.”
Without any delay, he said, “I was scared. Why would you lose consciousness in the middle of the class? What could have possibly gone on in your life when I last saw you which was 12 hours ago at the airport? I took you to my private island because I want you to feel special. What happened to you?” He held onto my face while he asked me the question.
