The morning after I was attacked by Aliya.
With my face deprived of my sleep, I put my elbows on the table. I couldn't sleep that night because my body was sweaty and my eyes didn't want to close. I knew she would attack me again the second time.
"Are you okay, Tersuro?"
Shizuku questioned me and looked at me worriedly.
"Ah!- o kay. I'm fine."
"You don't look fine," Shizuku replied with an awkward smile.
"Does it really look that way?"
"Well, it looks like you're sleep deprived."
What Shizuku said was true. Even though I said I was fine, I was actually very dizzy.
"How about you rest in the infirmary?" Shizuku suggested.
"Yes, I...will...go... To... There."
Saying that I went to the infirmary.
"Want me to take you?" Shizuku asked.
"No need... I don't want to... trouble you."

As usual we had lunch in the classroom. And of course our conversation was about Aliya.
"I wonder what happened to Aliya. She didn't show up for class today."
"Maybe she caught a cold."
I replied casually. Aliya didn't come to school today. It was not a good thing for a transfer student to be absent on their second day at school. But, it was also unlikely considering what happened that night. And of course I would be surprised if she was present in class.
"Maybe that's the case. A lot of people need her when they're all struggling."
So, that was what Yuka was thinking. Recalling today's and yesterday's students. I realised that many people were quite gloomy today. Many people needed Aliya to help with studies. Those who invited her to the club. Those who needed her advice. Someone who was needed by others.
"I hope she'll come back," Yuka said and Shizuku nodded.
"I hope not."
When I said that, both of them smiled bitterly.
As I thought about countermeasures when she comes back. Yuka suggested something with a radiant face.
"I have a suggestion. If Aliya comes back tomorrow. How about we invite her to have lunch with us."
"Lunch?" I asked.
"Is that not good?"
"Yeah, that's not good," Shizuku replied to Yuka.
"Hey, I asked Tersuro. Not to you."
"Huh, is my judgement not needed?"
"Yes. That's right."
"You really-"
"Enough is enough," I stopped their argument that was about to break out.
"That's right. Tell her," Shizuku pointed at Yuka.
"I don't mind if she joins us. As long as she doesn't interfere."
As I said that, Shizuku looked at me with incredulous eyes. Her eyes were glazed over as if she was about to cry.
I sighed, I placed my right hand on Shizuku's head. I stroked Shizuku's hair gently, slowly rubbing her head. Shizuku looked at me with a surprised expression.
"It's not what you think. All of us here are just going to have lunch together. You don't have to pout like that."
Saying that I removed my hand from her head. The moment I removed my hand, Shizuku's expression seemed disappointed.
However, I felt several gazes from various directions. When I saw the direction of those gazes, I was stunned.
'I forgot we were still in the classroom.'
Shizuku also directed her gaze to where I was looking.
"Uwahhhh!!!"
Shizuku made a strange sound and shook her head left and right.
"Since when did you guys become this close? No, I mean... I knew you were childhood friends, but I've never seen you this close," Yuka said.
Shizuku who heard fell silent, slowly heat and bright red colour appeared on her face. Hiding her embarrassment she covered her face with her ponytail. Although it wouldn't be very useful.
A faint smile appeared on Yuka's face. Several students were staring at Shizuku with incredulous looks.
'I seem to be getting a headache.
------------------------------------------------
That night I woke up once again, feeling something from my detection skill. Most likely it was Aliya, I was expecting her to appear but not this soon. And the location was the same as last night. So, I quickly went to her place.
"Yo."
As I called out to her, Aliya turned around with a calm expression.
"So, you came Kuroo Tersuro."
"Can you not bother me at night? How about doing it during the day?"
"That would make me easily seen by people. Also the sounds of battle will disturb many people around."
I wanted to say something about myself and tell me to consider it, but I closed my mouth.
"And why did you come this time?"
"Of course to settle what happened yesterday."
There was no other reason to come to me.
"Then what if I don't want to settle it?"
"I had expected this. But let's make this interesting for you."
"Get me interested?"
"That's right. If I win, I want you to obey all my orders," Aliya said.
"And if I win?"
"I will answer all the questions you've wanted to know all along."
At her words, expression faltered.
"If you say that, it means you know everything about this world."
There was no answer from Aliya.
"I'll answer you if you win."
"Alright."
"I'll warn you, this is going to be a battle that will be very different from yesterday."
"What you're saying is .... You're about to get serious."
"[Angel Transformation]."
In an instant, Aliya was enveloped in a very bright light. White wings appeared on her back and her hair grew a little longer. Her black eyes turning golden, she was lifted into the air.
Both wings were bathed in golden light. Her clothes also changed, becoming white and having golden ornaments. Her hair fluttered. A holy and serene appearance, yet divine with a sense of pressure.
"An angel? It's not what I thought."
'If she is an angel, then she is the Goddess' messenger. But why would an angel fight with me? I'd better focus on this battle.'
A magic circle appeared around Aliya's wings and activated, forming hundreds of long spears.
"It looks like our battle cannot be avoided."
