Inside the Ball

Josefina POV

Last night I had a vision in my sleep, these past few days i'm not getting any vision that often it's weird

I thought to myself

And just last night I dreamed about Athy and something, I couldn't remembered it's as if something is blocking my memory

But as I tried harder to remember it my head starts to get dizzy and is hard for me to remember

And to add it, these people had been talking to me non stop after the play, i'm happy but it's tiring me

And I don't know what they're talking about either...

I said to myself

"Have you heard of what happened just last month?"

A noble lady said

"Oh, what is it?"

The other noble lady asked

"You see just last week the our neighboring country the Kisses and Jellybean Kingdome had a huge fight and are on war right now"

The noble lady answered

War?

I asked myself

"Oh dear, today's the day the goddess had blesses us and exactly the time a war has happened"

The noble lady said

"Yes and not only that, but my friend that was staying in Kisses kingdome had their house on fire and now she's staying at her Fiancee's mansion"

Fire?!

I exclaimed to myself

That's right... The vision I had involves a fire and Athy...

What is it? Think of it more!!

As I thought hard even though I became light headed everytime I try to remember that vision, i just can't help but have a bad feeling about this

I keep trying to remember and my memories then slowly became clear then...

!!

Oh no!

I exclaimed

"Athy!"

I shouted her name

The noble man and woman looked at me shocked but I had no time for that I then quickly went to find Athy

"Athy where are you?!"

I worriedly said

I then thought of going outside and when I was finally near the door

People then came rushing and started talking to me out of the blue introducing themselves

"E-eh?!"

I nervously shouted

Where did they come from?!

I aske myself

As I was trying to get away from them, their eyes!

They're red...

"Someone's controlling them..."

I mumbled to myself

Oh no! Whoever they are, they're trying to stop me from telling Athy!

But no matter how hard I try, their overwhelming strength pushed me away the door and I couldn't move anymore

They're staring at me as if I was a prey, I was scared I don't know what to do!

Claude's POV

I saw Athy and that bastard almost kissed I couldn't help myself but rush to them

But then I stopped since this woman kept on whispering through my ear that caught my attention

"Whatever you do she won't like you back, she won't see you as more but just a brother to her"

Ziz whispered through my ears

I grit my teeth and furrowed my brows

"Athy... Won't trust and tell her secret..."

Ziz said

"You're lying Athy said she trusts me, and that she would tell me her secret"

I mumbled

"Did she? Don't believe her, she's just trying to lower your guard and to let you trust her with lies, how certain are you that she'd tell you her secret?"

Zizi said mockingly giggled through my ear

"Shut up... Athy trusts me she said so, and my time isn't time yet, I still had a chance"

I mumbled again

"Oh, A chance?"

Zizi said giggling

"You saw what they were abou to do, if you hadn't gone out from where you were they would have touched lips..."

Zizi said mocking me and giggling louder and louder

"No no no no no!"

I mumbled to myself, and I felt Athy shaking me

I looked at her straight in the eyes she worriedly looked at me and it softened me quickly

"Are you okay?"

Athy asked

"I'm fine"

I answered, I didn't have the energy to answer back and my head started to hurt but I didn't want her to know

So I turned around and walked away from them

But then Athy grabbed my hand

I looked back and my heart fluttered, I was happy to see her worry for me but once again my head hurts it was throbbing like a knife pierced through my head

"W-where are you going? You don't look okay let's go home if-"

Athy worriedly asked but I cut her off

"I'm fine Athy..."

I answered shortly, I can't handle it anymore my head is throbbing like crazy

I then looked behind Athy and there was that bastard Cythe who's smirking at me and mouthed

"I won"

I glared back and couldn't handle it anymore and just walked away as my head throbbed again

I noticed Athy came rushing to me worried, but I don't know why but I couldn't take it anymore and yelled

"Don't follow me Athy!"

I did not mean to shout but my head just throbbed and it's killing me, Athy listened and just stood there

I then walked away

After a while I don't know where I was but i'm still at the Academy that's for sure

As I walked away from them

They appeared again, the whispering...

"She won't love you back"

"You'll just die again and again"

"You can't change anything"

"She won't trust you, why try?"

Whispers and mumblings Since I was a child I kept hearing them whispering...

And worsened when I came to know that weed

I can't take it anymore...

I thought

"If she won't love you back just kill her, it's easy as that!"

They whispered again, giggling

"SHUT UP!"

I shouted as I covered my ears, but even when I do I can still hear them

I stood there silently mumbling to myself, I then felt someone touched my back and whispered

"Just give up... You won't succeed, just give me your body at last and let me take care of it"

Zizi seductively whispered behind me, Zizi then slowly reached for my arm and touched the bracelet Athy gave me

"This is such a cute bracelet... This is the thing that keeps you sane?"

Zizi asked as she looked at me covering both of  my ears

*Hmm~*

Zizi smirked

"You wanna know how fragile a trust is?"

Zizi then pulled the bracelet that was on my wrist and said

"I just tugged it a little and it came off immediately and easily..."

Zizi said

I looked shocked and froze in place as I just watch her take Athy's gift from me

She came infront of me then showed the bracelet once more

"What fragile trust this is..."

Zizi said chuckling

Covering my ears I fell down to my knees, my surrounding became hazy and I fell down

Lying there tiredly on the ground I suddenly remembered what that old lady told me

The time Claude kidnapped the Old Lady

I went to the old lady's little house as I was going there stealthily I mumbled

"She'll kill her, Zizi will kill her"

Since the old lady can know the future there would be a possibility that Zizi will kill her....

I and I can't let that happen

I thought to myself

And when I arrived it was in the middle of the night and so there were no one around

I opened the door with water magic to try and copy the key that's used to open the lady's door

I then saw her standing in the middle of her living room

She must have known of my arrival

I thought to myself

She stood there smiling at me

"If you're going to carry me, please be gentle this old lady's body is too fragile already"

She said smiling

I just stared at her and followed her wishes, I carried her as she told me too and was about to go out the door

But I heard footsteps and laughter of 3 men, it was the guards they're patrolling the area

I could just easily dodge them by myself but i'm holding this old lady, it'd be hard

I thought

I then came in to her room and went to the bathroom I was in a hurry that I broke the window with my water magic

I hurriedly went through the broken window whilst protecting the old lady by covering her with my water magic

I successfully protected her but failed to be careful myself and injured my arm as I was trying to get out of the room and didn't notice that the bracelet Athy gave fell...
