Chapter 32

"Sleep well okay Athy?"

Josefina said tenderly then waved me goodbye

I nodded as a response

I then slowly closed my door I threw my shawl on the table and jumped on the bed

I buried my face on one of my pillows and thought of what had happened earlier

"Is it really Claude? if so what's is he doing here? How long has he been here?"

I asked myself many times but I don't know what his reason was

I then turned to look at the window to see the moon shining brightly on my table

Are you still ignoring me for what I did that day Claude?

I furrowed my brows and bit my lip to stop myself from crying

I regretted what I had done but....

I just can't shake this feeling that Claude might be the one the old lady has talked about

"...."

I feel my eyes watering and finally a tear fell down then another...

I find myself crying and thought that

I want my best friend back...

"Hic hic hic"

I wept

I cried myself to the point that my eyes has swollen but my tears won't stop

This feeling of loneliness to not see your friend...

I'm scared he won't talk to me anymore... and it's because of my stupidity

I was so anxious that I had suspected Claude of this...

All night, I cried and cried until I cried myself to sleep

Tired of crying I finally went to sleep

Morning arrived and I was getting ready to pack my stuff and return home for a short vacation

*Knocking*

I heard someone knocking on my front

door

I went to open it to see my friends

"Athy, are you done packing?"

Cythe asked

"I was almost done, i'll be finishi-"

Explaining myself Cosmo then went near me his face infront of me and said

"Have you been crying?"

Cosmo asked

"Crying?!"

I shockingly asked

How'd he know?!

I thought I covered it up perfectly!

I touched my face and look for a mirror

"It's really still there... I thought I had hid it well"

I mumbled to myself

Cythe then came near me and asked

"Why were you crying?"

Cythe asked with worried eyes

"No I wasn't-"

I tried stopping him from asking but Cythe grabbed my shoulders shook me gently

"Athy, you can tell me"

Cythe then gave me a gentle smile

I smiled back but I was too embarrassed to talk about it so I just shook my head and looked down

Cythe did not force me but he seemed sad

"Ok then, tell me if you feel like it"

Cythe said in a sweet tone smiling at me gently

I then lowered my head even more and nodded

*Clack clack*

Josefina's shoes was heard

She went near me

Josefina quietly stood infront of me and patted my back gently

I then slowly looked up to see her smiling sweetly

I was happy to have friends like them and was relieved

I remembered the incident last night with Cosmo where he suddenly walked out

I took a glance at Cosmo who was standing on the doorway

He noticed my stare and gave me a happy smile

He's acting like nothing has happened last night

I thought

But i'm glad he wasn't reading my thoughts

Whenever i'm around him I get anxious if ever he hears what I'm thinking

"Let me help you get ready Athy so we can go now"

Josefina offered and gave me a smile

I then nodded as a response and smiled back

We were done packing my things we then went down to the gate and wait for our carriage to arrive

As we were waiting Cosmo then went near me and whispered in my ear

"I'll be coming with you"

I then looked at him who was expecting me to say yes

"Why are you coming with me?"

Since your house is near the town why not let me ride your carriage with you?"

Cosmo said

"You-"

I stopped talking and sighed

"Fine"

I answered back

Cosmo then smiled brightly and danced stupidly

I looked at him in a weird way but Cosmo did not care and continued

"Our carriage is here!"

Josefina exclaimed

We then all looked at the carriage Josefina pointed at

The carriage then stopped in front of us

"Cythe let's go!"

Josefina said smiling

Cythe just stared at her frowning gripping his case harder even more

Why does he seem displeased by Josefina?

"Is something the matter Cythe?"

Josefina said smiling in a very... creepy way

"..."

I stared at her quietly

Josefina is acting weird again..

Cythe just stood there frowning even more but still went on the carriage Ina was at

Cythe the turned to look at me

"I'll see you on monday Athy"

Cythe said smiling softly when he turned to look at Josefina his smiled faded away

"Bye Athy!"

Josefina said smiling as she waves at me

I waved back smiling and said

"Bye bye both of you"

waving slowly

Lately Josefina has been more energetic and her shyness is all gone now

I'm happy

I giggled softly

"W**t **k* w**a*"

Cosmo mumbled smirking happily but eerie at the same time

I looked at Cosmo who was smirking creepily beside me

He then noticed and gave me a smile

I thought he was hiding something but even if I asked he wouldn't tell me

The reason would be "it wasn't the time for me to know yet"

Our carriage then arrived and we went on it

Traveling hours away from school to our house would make my butt cramp

But seeing Cosmo sleeping soundly on my shoulders irritates me

"You are so heavy Cosmo, move!"

I tried pushing his head away but his head was too heavy and his body weight was all pushed on me

I gave up and just sighed deeply

Trying to forget the pain on my shoulders and the cramp I have on my butt

I tried sleeping and surprisingly I slept soundly and quickly

"Athy..."

"A dream?"

I woke up wearing a white beautiful dress with a flower crown on top of my head

There were accessories on my arms but it was all flowers decorated beautifully on my arm

I was confused on what was happening

I looked around and it was a sunny day and me on a grassy field without a tree in sight without a shoes on

I decide to look around and try and do something

"Athy~"

I heard someone calling for me

I turned to look everywhere and to see no one in sight

"Who's there?"

I asked

But there was no response

I shrugged my shoulders and looked around again

I walked and walked to an endless empty field

"Hoo"

Sweating heavily I wiped my sweat off my face and was tired of walking

Where am I going?

I thought asking myself

As I walked and walked and was starting to give up

I saw a forest with beautiful flowers and green tree

I noticed something glowing from the distance

"What's that?"

I asked

I then walked my way to the beautiful forest that I saw

I arrived at the beautiful forest

It was magnificent and it was peaceful that it could make you fall asleep

And when I was nearing to where I saw something glowing

I saw a bush decorated in beautiful roses and any kinds of flowers

And when I decided to look behind it I see a beautiful clear pond with flowers surrounding it and a white bridge over the pond

It was like a house of a fairy who build it a long time ago

I walked closer to the bridge and it was stunning it could make everyone who saw the sight be mesmerized

Wind then blew across my face gently calming me I closed my eyes feeling the warm air

"Athy"

Someone called for my name again

I quickly opened my eyes and turned to look around and there was still no one there

"Who is it?!"

I shouted scared

My heart was beating fast and pounding heavily

"Athy"

Someone called for my name but this time it was closer

I turned to look around and saw the one who called for me

Their face were blurry I can't see thier face clearly

she slowly walked closer to me just like me without a shoes on

Wind blowing her beautiful black short hair trees swaying softly with the wind

Same as me, she's wearing a white dress and a flower crown on top of her head

But as she was getting closer and only 3ft apart from me

She stopped coming closer and stood there looking at me

I can't see her eyes but I can see her lips and her lips was smiling

"***ry a** ***t ** *o** Athy"

She was saying something but the only thing I heard her say is my name

Athy.....

I was about to ask her what it was she said but suddenly I can feel someone poking my cheeks

"W- who's poking me?!"

I asked angrily

The woman infront me smiled for the last time and slowly starts to vanish

"Wait let me ask you about something! wait"

I tried calling for her again stretching my arm out trying to reach her but it was too late

She turned her head for the last time she waved her hand and smiled gently saying

"see you"

!

"Athy!"

I woke up from shock to year someone screaming my name

I quickly sat down and to see i am still on the carriage

The carriage is still moving...

"Huff huff"

I was breathing heavily but someone suddenly poked from behind me

I looked to see who it was and it was Cosmo

The one who yelled my name

I looked at him frowning he then gave me a smile

"I woke you up since you were sleeping so soundly"

"You saw me sleeping and yet you woke me up"

I said rubbing my eyes

Cosmo then gave me a soft pat and said

"We're nearing your home that's why I woke you up"

Cosmo said smiling

"And my lap hurts from you sleeping on it for a long time"

Cosmo added scratching his cheeks

"Oh sorry bout that"

I answered not caring

"Your sorry doesn't have any sincerity"

Cosmo pouted as he crossed his arms

"I ignored him and thought about my dream once again"

Who is that woman in my dream?

She's familiar....
