Shinsuke scratched his head nervously as the nurse handed him an administrative document to fill out.
He was still struggling to realize how he could have gotten into this mess.
First of all, the incident had attracted the attention of many people, which, indirectly, had also put him in the spotlight. Secondly, knowing that he had quickly accompanied the young woman to the lobby to hand her over to the emergency personnel, he had been put into the ambulance against his will.
"Are you her guardian?" Had asked one of the emergency physicians.
"No, I'm her manager," Shinsuke had quickly rebuffed.
"In that case get in," the man had then said before starting to push Shinsuke into the back of the vehicle.
"No, wait-"
"We have no time to lose!" The paramedic urged him.
"Since I'm telling you that-"
"We'll see about that when we get there, okay?" The other man cut him off once again.
