|3rd POV|
"No, Robert! We cannot go to war against the Solaris Kingdom! At least not yet!"
"And why not?! We have the ships and men to do it! We can attack them while we are here!"
"And march through the other side of Westeros just to attack them?! It will take months to reach King's Landing and another week to prepare the ship! Another week to set sail to Solaris through the most pirate-infested ocean in the world!"
After the victory in Pyke and sending the heir to Ironborn to the North, Robert immediately wants to wage war against the Solaris Kingdom and kill all Targaryen he can see. However, many of the lords who answered his call in the civil war voiced their disapproval because they didn't want to waste any resources for a long war.
Unlike the war against the Ironborn, they will fight in a foreign land and far away from their home. It will cost them money and men, something they don't want to spend after going through two wars in quick succession.
"So what?! We can use the gold we get from the Ironborn to pay for this war!"
"And it only lasts for a few months, Robert! And that is if we wage on land! War in the ocean is different! I already talked to Stannis, and he says it will double or triple the gold we get from the Ironborn to pay for the food alone if we want to wage war against the Solaris Kingdom."
"Then are you suggesting we are not attacking those Dragon bastards?!"
"No, Robert. I suggest we grow our coffers for now and then attack them. We need time to heal and grow before we go to war once again."
Robert looks at his surrogate father for a few seconds before slamming the mug in his hand on the table, shattering it.
"Fine! However, you better prepare for the war. I don't want any living Targaryen running around in this world. A good dragon is a dead dragon."
Jon nods his head and releases a sigh when Robert leaves the room to search for a whore or another drink. Truthfully, he wants to try to prevent Robert from going to another war because he knows that the Baratheon Dynasty will not survive another war. Or at least it will give the other lords a lot more power over the royal family from the constant war.
Especially the Lannister.
They owe a good amount of money to the Lannisters to pay for this war. It is not too much, and they can pay it back in a couple of years, but if another war happens, they need the Old Lion's money once again, and it will increase his political power in the Royal Family.
"Haaaaa…. What should I do? I don't want another war, but if I leave them alone, they will attack us."
And that is what gives Jon too much headache. As much as he doesn't want to admit it, there are still a lot of houses that support the Targaryen and hate the Baratheon rule. Jon doesn't want them to start thinking of another rebellion to make Viserys the new ruler of the Seven Kingdoms.
There is also the problem of the Solaris Kingdom helping the North last winter by feeding them and even filling their coffer from the trade. Luckily, Eddard already says that he cut ties with the Solaris Kingdom after learning about Viserys' real identity.
He trusts his second surrogate sons when Eddard says the North will not trade or even make an alliance with the Solaris Kingdom. The North is simple and loyal people. Once they give their loyalty, they will continue to follow you as long as you are not leading them astray or betray them.
However, Jon still needs to watch out for house Bolton. Their house is known for taking an underhand alliance against the enemy of House Stark. Their ambition to rule over the North is still known throughout the Seven Kingdoms.
"For now, we need to rebuild the kingdom and make sure it is stable enough for another war."

"Why are you calling for me, brother?"
"Can't I call for you, brother?"
Oberyn releases a sigh and says.
"Not since this mess happened. I am busy attacking the remnants of the Ironborn Pirates. They are raiding the villages around Sunspear."
"And I thank you for protecting our fief. However, you are right. This call is not a call for a chat but rather a job for you."
"What? Is fighting the pirates not enough for you, brother?"
"It is not like that, brother. It is regarding our revenge."
At the mention of revenge, Oberyn's expression changed.
"What is it?"
"I have found the location of our sister's son."
"What?! Are you sure?!"
The two of them manage to catch a rumor that Aegon Targaryen is still alive somewhere in Braavos. However, they don't know if the rumor is true or not.
"Are you sure it is him? Please tell me it is not someone who dares to take the identity of our sister's son."
"No. I know that this is him. Ser Jon Connington is taking care of him, and you know, that is the only reason he is willing to hide Aegon so thoroughly. There can only mean one thing."
Oberyn looks at Doran for a few seconds and nods his head.
"It must be Aegon."
Oberyn releases a sigh and says.
"Then what do you want me to do? Don't we agree that we will approach the Two Dragons of Lys?"
Two Dragons of Lys is the title for both Viserys and Daenerys after Viserys manages to take over Lys and change it into Solaris Kingdom.
Doran shakes his head and says.
"No. The two of them might have ties with us, Aegon has blood ties with us. I will not let the children of the Mad King rule the Seven Kingdoms. I don't want them to be another Rhaegar."
Oberyn nods his head in understanding and says.
"Very well. You are right. What do you want me to do?"
"Ah, right. I need you to take a dozen men with you to Braavos and make contact with Ser Jon Connington. Tell him that we want to make an alliance with the true ruler of the Seven Kingdoms."
Oberyn gets up and says.
"Very well. I will leave and make contact with him."
