NEW JOB

Jasper's POV~~

Human beings are very illogical to me. Foremost they will scare their child into thinking that Monsters and witches exist but they don't believe that themselves. Umm... Rude. Like you can't just wipe out my entire race according to your stupid stories.

Now that we are on to the story topic let me clear one big misunderstanding, no wolf ever blew down random houses with his breath. So, please stop spreading rumors about my ancestors.

"Warrior Jasper Bryce. Come here immediately." I heard a very familiar voice- oh wait it's sir Joseph. I quickly shifted towards him waiting for his command.

"Warrior Jasper Bryce. Here is the list of the new eighteen recruits. I want you to personally go over their training sessions with them and make sure they don't slack off. I believe you will not fail me." Sir Joseph declares in a very authoritative voice while handing me a bunch of papers.

I quickly take the papers from him, my eyes all sparkling. " Don't worry sir. I will make sure to train them well." I reply with a strong voice not wanting to come off as a weak and unworthy person. I tend to do that a lot. "Ok, You are dismissed" Sir Joseph says with a faint smile on his face. He is the kindest person on Earth.

Sir Joseph Bryce is like my father, the father I wanted but not the father I deserved. He often tells me about a time when he opened a closet door to find a beautiful angel lying on the grounds, wounded and tired after her everlasting fight. That Angel was me except for the part where I was not.

I was in a disgusting condition surrounded by the foul smell of urine mixed with the stench of dead rotten mice lying beside me. The mice I killed with my own little hands because I was desperate for food.

"Sir, I think I heard some noise from down there. Maybe the alpha is hiding inside. Should I go and check it out?" A man in his early twenties says as he tries to cover the massive cut on his shoulders.

"No! You go to rose. Right now!" The older knight says with a authoritative voice. The former tries to protest but one look from the older knight makes him follow the instruction.

"Let's get this over with." The knight says while kicking the door to the closet but instead of finding the Alpha, his eyes land on the small figure of a girl who was lying on the grounds . Chains around her feet, keeping her from moving. The girl looks up, her eyes void of any form of fear.

"Did my parents sent you here?" She speaks with a hoarse voice indicating her lack of communication. "I told him they love me. He didn't listen. So- so I killed him. I was hungry too." She whispers pointing towards the dead rotting body of a mice.

The man in armor came forward furiously trying to break the silver chains that rested beautifully on  bruised feet.

The next thing I remember I was covered with a soft blanket while the armored man was carrying me passing a few people who were busy killing off their opponents. He shouted a few words and proceeded to walk towards a car. Keeping me inside he retreated to the then-war field.

Then he brought me to his pack land. After a few meetings and discussions with the Alpha he was finally able to adopt me formally and that's how I got my own name, Jasper Bryce. My first own name.

He saved me from them and now I give him my loyalty in return.
