In the Parisia store, two middle-aged men looked down through the second-floor window at the bustling crowd on Champs-Elysees below.
The lean one was named Gaul Siens, the manager of the Champs-Elysees Parisia store; the other was Videla Sieberger from the headquarters, the Europe regional director. It seemed as though there was a huge gap in their status, but in reality, their positions weren't that different.
For Parisia, the store on Champs-Elysees held a special significance; it was almost the face of the brand. Its manager had a critical status in the entirety of Parisia.
"Gaul, about yesterday's incident, I hope it doesn't happen again today. Such events deal a big blow to our brand, Parisia, and could easily cause us to lose our Huaxia consumers!"
