Chapter89 You are just like a koala.

Kiara saw him leave. She glanced at the door for a long time and hissed while wiping the tears off her face.

"You have no idea how pissed off I am. I am no longer that Kiara  and I don't accept bullies in my life anymore"

Meanwhile that same night.

Kiera's apartment.

"Did you find her?" An Bai Su massaged her fatigued face. The men shook their heads in sync. They were also dead jet-lagged after the long search.

"I can't believe she can be so irresponsible at the expense of her whole life...just a silly fight with the kids, she storms out and never returns...How stupid!"

"Brother, don't talk like that about her...she is still my woman remember and your future sister-in-law" Gu Shen threw a dagger at his older brother.

The latter rolled his eyes "She doesn't even see you as a boyfriend now you talk as if she already accepted to marry you"

An Bai Su held her head and sighed "Kiara, where are you? You must be angry with me" She mused to herself. Her head hurt from lack of sleep.

Feng Li's Condo.

The man leaned against a wall as he dragged on the cigarette. His eyes flashed joyfully as he reminisced back to the previous night. 

'Though things seem to be complicated now, I will try to level them. I will make sure to get my family...you and my daughter. I will try to make you both love and accept one another as mother and daughter. Kiara, I won't lose you to that man'

"Hey brother, thinking again...well nothing new there" The irksome younger brother entered the room. Feng Li took in a deep sigh. He extinguished the cigarette on the ashtray.

"What's always tinkling you fancy?" The overly bitterly cold man enquired, nonchalantly.

"You are so bland, brother" Feng Wen retorted. He ran his hand through his newly coloured hair and proudly, he touched his face.

"How do you like my new hair...cool right? I love this silver colour" The narcissist guy grinned. Feng Li didn't bother him as he was thinking hard about something.

"My crazy manager says it looks weird on me...I don't look like an old man, do I?" Falin smiled broadly as he saw himself through the window. 

Man, I am so handsome.

"Don't you agree brother, I am truly handsome?"

"You are irritating me with your nuisance" Feng Li glared.

"Ouch! brother that's rude and hurtful...no wonder that niece of mine is like that...she took your saddened qualities"

"Are you here because of that?" 

"You are attending Qianqian's birthday party, right?" Feng Wen asked. He sat on the chair in the corner of the room and sat on it with his legs crossed. 

"I will be out of the country by that time for business...I will hand my gift over to you to give to her"

"She is your cousin, will you not attend? You will make her sad if you don't" Feng Wen cried with pleading eyes.

"Tell me something, back then when she tried to get close to you...you always pushed her away but now you seem to mind it"

"What do you mean?" Feng Wen looked serious. His eyes stiffened as if a secret was coming out. Sadly, Feng Li had noticed the change in his look. He looked hardened and gave his brother a disappointed look.

"Falin, love is nothing too much to handle. Min must have mentioned these to your back in the penthouse. Trying to use someone else to cover your pain isn't the right thing. I know this because I did the same thing but believe me, nothing worked. Qianqian is our cousin, she is still your family and using her for selfish reasons is just too much. If you want that woman so much, get back to her fairly. That's a little advice from an experienced brother"

Feng Wen's mind was not settled at all. He ran his hand through his silver hair and let out a low growl. 

"I have a question to ask brother"

Feng Li with his gaze still on the moon, hummed at his brother's words.

"Then when you wooed Kiara, can you give me some tips? I mean I just want to see if I could try it...you..."

"Just be yourself, act naturally as possible," Said the straightforward man.

"Mabel is not just a simple woman to handle. You were able to get Kiara cause she is a timid type" He cried. The other man smiled as he recollected their first kiss.

That day was a memorable one for him.

"Qianqian is just like Kiara...and I feel she is falling harder for me. I mean aren't I just too handsome. I just want you to come to her party"

Feng Li laughed lightly "You think highly of yourself"

Admiring his face through the mirror, he kissed himself and grinned "I am just too handsome".

*The past*

The entire school was holding an excursion for the students. Both the high school and college schoolers. 

They divided the trip into three sections.

The first batch, consisting of over a hundred students, was to go to the organised haunted house. Like wise the second batch but theirs was a different part on its own. While the last batch, consisting of over a five hundred student had their trip in the forest like a camp. Out of the five hundred, they were group in a five teams, hundred each.

Coincidentally, Kiara and her friends were on the same group. The brunette hooked her arms around her best friend's as they followed the lined up troops.

"This excursion is the best" Dilraba lamented. Behind them, a girl the same age as Kiara was walking in slow pace listening to their discussions.

"Dil, we should move with the seniors...i have a bad feeling about this trip" Kiara blinked. Her eyes scanning the bushy environment. She felt her legs stepping on muddy stuffs which was beginning to irritate her and on top of that, her biggest enemy was behind her doing whatsoever.

Dilraba palm faced herself as she stared at her best friend.

"You don't have to pretend here, we are safeguarding by the seniors. And believe me, this trip is going to be the best for us amongst the one we've had."

"Every one, we are heading to the camp house, stay close to your group at all cost" The leader of the trip spoke out loud. Kiara tightened her hold around her best friend.

"Stay safe with me" Dilraba cooed "Princess Kiara....hehehehehehe"

Kiara scoffed at her best friend's sarcastic words. She huffed in anger but still held the other girl. From a far, Tristan and his friend were watching the two girls. Their eyes didn't move away from them until something eerie occurred.

Suddenly, a thick white smoke engulfed the entire place. The students became astonished and scared as they began scattering. Tristan ran towards the girl's location but they weren't there. He became worried and began searching for them. He saw a familiar figure and walked up to it but to his surprise it was just Dilraba.

"Where's she?" He worriedly inquired. Dilraba raised her brows and replied back with a question "Who?'

"Kiera!!! Where is Kiara? She was with you, right?" 

Dilraba frowned "She's he...." Her eyes widened when she felt her arms empty.

The girl wasn't with her.

"She was holding me a while ago. Where did she go to?" Dilraba was perplexed. Hearing her absurd response, the guy's eyes twinkled in rage and rancour. He grabbed her shoulder and shook her body wildly.

"Couldn't you do a simple job? You only had to look over her. I pleaded with you not to let her away from your sight but where is she now? How could you lose her? How could you be so irresponsible? I trusted you. You promised to take care of her but you just lost her. What should i do with you?" His eyes was burnin g of fire. He was angered.

Dilraba gulped and began tearing up "I..i didn't know she was lost. She was just with me a while ago...i am sorry" She whimpered. 

Tristan pushed her away but the blonde guy caught her just in time. She embraced him and began crying.

"She really was just with me, believe me Jake...i didn't know she..."

"Jake just take your immature and irresponsible girlfriend off from my sight otherwise i might do something we all will regret"

The blonde boy quickly took her away to the area all other students were. Tristan ran off in search for Kiara.

Meanwhile, in a deserted area.

Kiara was yelling out her best friend's name. She was afraid of the dark. She hated silence.

But now she was somewhere confiscated. She was damn scared and panic-stricken.

"Anyone....can anyone here me?"

"Please anyone"

Silence.

Tears began to fall down her eyes as she was shaking in fear.

Mother, father...big brother. I am scared.

"And what are you doing out here alone?" Her heart shook by the sudden cold words. In fear she jumped on the person and sobbed harder.

"You are just like a Koala"

"Naughty Li, please take me away from here...i am scared"
