Chapter 18: A Battle to Remember

Dark surrounding rocks.

One of the rocks had hit the floor. This cave was about to collapse on itself.

That's right, cave. Enkai Kaito and his crew of cultists took refuge in a nearby cave.

And this cave, is where the battle would start.

"Looks like I made it just in time!"

Ford had arrived. He would first take out a group of cultists alongside Daren, who he still wasn't too fond of.

Enkai: "NONONO!!!!"

Enkai Kaito, a truly insane individual. Daren and Ford would try to take him out, but they had failed. Enkai used his ice magic to knock Daren back, and-

"AHH--"

Ford had hit the wall of the cave and blacked out. He wasn't dead, he had just passed out.

Ama: "Ford!!"

Ama was okay. She was with the rest of the army, taking out the other cultists. As soon as Ford hit the wall, she would turn her attention to Enkai Kaito, who had chained Ford up.

Ama: "STAY AWAY FROM HIM!"

Ama screamed as she used her staff to try to knock Enkai back, but in a blind rage, she wasn't aiming at Enkai, and had instead caused a section of the cave to collapse on itself. Some of the cultists had died, and others were trapped on the other side.

Enkai, however, was one of the few that have survived.

Enkai: "Failed! Goodbye now!"

Enkai said as he knocked Ama out, along with the other members of the army.

Quiet, too quiet.

Ford woke up.

Enkai: "Good! You're awake!"

Enkai was standing in front of Ford, about ten feet away.

Enkai: "I can tell she truly loves you!"

"Huh?..."

Ford was out of it.

Then, he had noticed Ama, floating behind Enkai.

"Let her go!! Let her go!!"

Ford was going insane. He felt like he had lost the battle. Enkai was standing there, laughing. Could Enkai Kaito, who had the gate of Ice, also possess a telekinesis ability?

How was Ama floating?

Ford wouldn't care, as he was too focused on killing Enkai.

"I'll kill you! I'll kill you! Lethergolethergolethergo!!"

"AHHHHAAAAAHHHHHHHAAAAAHHHHHAAAHHHHHAAAAHHH"

Enkai: "haha!! Well, looks like it's time to kill he---- huh?"

A beam of light. A beam of light, right in Ford's hand, forming the shape of a sword..

Ford would continue to whisper "I'll kill you" to Enkai.

The chains snapped. The beam of light in the shape of a sword, still in Ford's hand-

He got up, slowly, his head still facing down..

("the gate of light???") Some of the members of the army started to wake up, noticing Ford.

He wouldn't listen, and instead would continue walking forward, his head still facing down...

Enkai: "stay away!"

Ford didn't listen.

"I'll kill you.. I'll kill you.. I'll kill you.. I'll kill you..."

He looked up, his eyes were bloodshot out of pure rage...

He rushed at Enkai-- the beam of light still in his hand..

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHH-----"

He had stabbed Enkai, and everything went silent... The force of Ford's attack had caused a huge crater to form right in the middle of the cave..

Ford collapsed, and fainted..

Ford's mind: {finally figured it out, huh? What should I call it? Light sword? Beam of light?}

"Divine light..."

Arias: "huh?"

Ford was laying in Arias's lap..

"Arias?"

Arias: "hello, Ford..."

"I'm sorry... I know now that you were only looking out for me.. cause you didn't like to see me get hurt.."

Ford said, as Arias cracked a smile..

"But... I wanna protect you, I wanna save you..."

Arias: "I know..."

"I love you, Arias.."

Ford had finally admitted his love for Arias..

He had finally saved Arias from Enkai Kaito.. cultist leader number 7....

One of the 10 cultist leaders have been taken out... Leaving only 9 remaining.

This was truly, A Battle to Remember.
