Snatching Food

As soon as Xiao Ling took a bite of the piece of meat it almost instantly melted. While the caramelized sear gave the meat a crispy texture, it was still so juicy and tender that with only the slightest pressure it had dissolved, exploding in her mouth and filling it with a divinely rich pork like elixir. The flavor was unlike anything she ever tasted, with the entire experience well exceeding dishes she had even tried at world famous 5 star and Michelin stared restaurants.

The taste was so good that she could feel her entire body thirst for more as if she had not had a meal in weeks. It was not only her taste buds that were affected but she could feel a strong warmth filling her entire body. Unexpectedly she noticed that large amounts of pure spiritual essence had started flowing into her body from her stomach.

'Mmmhhhn"

With just one bite, she could feel her entire body contort in extreme comfort, causing her to moan slightly in pleasure as warm currents of pure spiritual essence invaded her. She felt that she had briefly been taken to heaven, briefly forgetting about all of her troubles. She had even had the feeling that anything else she ate from now on would only taste bland in comparison. With just one bite, she had felt that she had also made significant progress in her cultivation, where previously she had been stuck in the upper limits of the 8th step of Qi Condensation but now she could feel that she was slowly approaching the peak of the 8th step and was not too far from actually reaching the 9th step.

After realizing that she had lost her composure she immediately coughed to recollect herself.

"Cough, okay, the meat is passable, but how do you expect to get away with just instant noodles!" She said trying to once again assert her dominance, picking up the bowl of noodles with her petite white hands to hide her embarrassment.

Because she thought the noodles were just ordinary instant noodles she was not expecting much. She wanted to take this as an opportunity to criticize Tie Zhu, however she did not expect that Tie Zhu had enhanced the flavor of the broth with the juices of the meat earlier. Although it was not as good as the meat itself it was nonetheless the best broth she had ever tasted. 'How did he turn instant noodles into something like this?! ' she could not help but think to herself as she rapidly started devouring the noodles, forgetting that she was supposed to be criticizing Tie Zhu.

"Grrrr" Both Tie Zhu and Bing Meifeng's stomachs growled in hunger as they watched who Xiao Ling was devouring the instant noodles as if she had not eaten for weeks.

Seeing that Xiao Ling had been so immersed in her instant noodles that she was not even saying anything, Bing Meifeng and Tie Zhu were unable to wait any longer as they both rushed to pick up the meat before stuffing it in their mouth.

"Mmmmnn"

They both called out at the same time as the meat juices exploded in their mouth, in a similar fashion to Xiao Ling. Previously they had thought that she might have been exaggerating her expression however they quickly found out that it was indeed genuine. In all his life, Tie Zhu had never tasted anything so luxurious, and to think it came from something so simple had shocked him. He could not help but think of the possibilities of what other dishes he could make with the boundless other ingredients within his spatial stone.

When Xiao Ling heard the moans from Tie Zhu and Bing Meifeng, she suddenly remembered that there were other people in the room. She was so immersed in the wonderful taste and feeling in her body that she had even forgotten about the people around her. 'What, when did they start eating! I didn't give permission for the chef to eat!' She couldn't help but think angrily as she witnessed someone steal the most delicious food she had ever eaten away from her.

Just as she was about to yell at Tie Zhu for 'stealing' her breakfast she stopped herself. She could not risk losing such a chef, and seeing that they currently were not paying attention, she secretly grabbed three pieces of meat, putting it in her bowl with a smug expression on her face. 'WHAT!!! Where did all my noodles go!' She could not help but scream in her mind as she noticed that there was only a mouth full of noodles, an egg and only a little broth left.

As a faint sense of depression fell over her she gloomily put another slice of meat in her mouth. Because she had just devoured the entire bowl of noodles she had almost forgotten that the meat was the real highlight of the dish, completely washing away her disappointment. 'Ahhhh, so delicious! What is this, I need more!' She madly thought to herself as she stuffed the remaining two pieces of meat in her mouth so that her cheeks cutely puffed out.

As if to properly savor the flavor and experience this time she closed her eyes while she chewed slowly, allowing the fragrant juices to thoroughly coat and linger in her entire mouth. The sensation was so overwhelming that she once again let tempting moan as this time she felt her entire body shiver in excitement.

What she did not realize was that when she had tried to sneak the pieces of meat her actions were actually noticed by both Tie Zhu and Bing Meifeng. Unwilling to let her get away with this, they greedily divided the remainder of the two steaks between the two of them, leaving only one piece left for Xiao Ling while her eyes here closed.

Seeing that Xiao Ling was almost finished eating, Tie Zhu quickly stuffed his mouth with the slices of meat, for fear that Xiao Ling would try to steal it from him, completely forgetting about any table manners. Although Bing Meifeng had tried to keep up she was unable to keep up with Tie Zhu's speed. As a result, when Xiao Ling had finished swallowing her mouthful she was already greedily eyeing Bing Meifeng's bowl that still had three slices of meat.

After grabbing the last piece of meat of the table, Xiao Ling cast a sorrowful glance at Bing Meifeng. "Aiya, Meifeng, my darling daughter. Your mother is getting older now *cough* You aren't going to leave me all alone when you grow up right? After everything I have done for you....and to think this is how you repay me.. *Sniff*" She said sadly casting teary eyes at her daughter.

Feeling guilty, Bing Meifeng reluctantly gave her mother the smallest piece of meat in her still full bowl while she angrily glared at Tie Zhu who was currently immersed in a bliss, thinking that it should have been herself.
