"Brother Al!" "Over here!"
Hearing the two identical, yet distinct and cheerful voices, Al walked towards the two adorable little girls Xia Yue and Xia Yan calling him.
"You're finally here Al."
Xia Wuting, as if waiting for him to approach, caught Al before her daughters could get their chance and brought him up to her lap.
"Ah! Mom!" "No fair!"
She cutely stuck her tongue out towards her daughters, making them pout and stomp their legs in anger while Al chuckled helplessly.
"Aunt Xia, where is Grandpa Jack?"
Al had to admit, the village and its residents had grown on him. If he had the chance, he would certainly try to get them to live longer and become stronger.
Alas, for that to happen, he would fire have to max their relations with him, but the only adult with that chance was now feeling up his thighs.
'I'm still a child you perverted woman!'
((Says that guy who'd have a boner harder than steel if he could wake his tiny little brother up.))
'…'
((Hehe, I win~!))
Al ignored the mischievous minxes both in his head and out teasing him as he looked for his current target.
"The Village Chief went over to that drunkard Tang Hao's place to drag him and little San out."
When she mentioned Tang Hao, Xia Wuting's nose wrinkled in distaste. With the appearance of Al and him giving out modern crop methods which he once read about in his previous life for absolutely no reason like free candy, plus the effect of 'Old Farmer' which practically quadrupled the yield while drastically decreasing the growth time and even making the crops resistant to weeds, pests, and other diseases, the village had prospered.
In fact, Holy Spirit Village was already a little known in Heaven Dou Empire as a small village with tiny population yet immense agricultural value.
But in the village where even the two oldest people, the 'Second Grandpa' and 'Second Grandma' in Al's words, work either in the fields or do pottery or even just teach some things to the children, Tang Hao, alone, didn't do any sort of work.
A drunkard who looks like a beggar, and depends on his four year old son to even cook for him.
Although, as a fellow villager and the only blacksmith in the village, he wasn't openly seen in disgust or anything, pretty much everyone in the village except the kids were dissatisfied with him.
'Poor Tang Hao, no one knows that you're the only reason the village is safe even after some greedy bastards wanted to gobble it up after it started earning big bucks.'
A poor and tiny village earning nearly a thousand Gold Soul Coins a year, it was certainly something many low level Spirit Masters would want to get their hands on.
But after the first few 'mysteriously disappeared', the Holy Spirit Village also got another reputation of being protected by descendants of the supposed 'Spirit Saint' who had cultivated to at least Spirit King or even the Spirit Emperor level.
'I wonder if the guard incident would still happen?'
Thinking of the 'Master', A felt his lips curl up to form a sneer.
'Hehe, Master, I'll have lot of fun playing with you…'
There were three people that Al genuinely hated in Douluo Dalu, the 'Master' Yu Xioagang, the Sea God who not only enslaved the poor Sea God Priestess Bo Saixi and forced her to remain in the Sea God Island, but even sacrificed her life for his future heir, and Qian Daoliu, the father of the former Pope and the man who not only let his son force himself on his own disciple, but even brought up his granddaughter without ever telling her the true reason her mother hated her.
The Sea God was too far away for Al at the moment, and Qian Daoliu was too strong for him as well…
But as for the 'Master'…
'Hehe…'
((Wow, that's a pretty good villain laugh just now. I'm sooo scared.))
'…really? Like, seriously? You just had to kill the mood, didn't you?'
((Love you too, Al~~!))
'Oh fuck you.'
((I would gladly the day you give me a body~~!))
'…'
((Fufufu~ I win again~~))
'Tsk.'
