If Xianth did not appear in this world for an unknown reason, this kind of marvelous thing would be completely out of reach

Xianth tried to use his will to control his lifeforce to help him promote healing but soon a frown formed on his face

It was not as if he cannot control his lifeforce but the thing is he find it harder to control than mana

While he is not exactly an expert at mana control, he could still control that form of energy in a very natural way and as easily as using one's hands

Normal humans find it easy and natural to use their hands but they are not exactly an expert at hand movement since they need to learn the necessary skills first. That is the exact situation that Xianth is in. He could naturally control his mana but he was by no means an expert at controlling it

However, the life force was a completely different matter altogether. While Xianth could control his lifeforce it was not as easy and natural and he instinctively knew what is the reason

It has something to do with his Divinity. His Divinity is not strong enough yet to enable him to use his lifeforce freely

It was already great and a surprise that despite the fact that Xianth just obtained a Divinity 2 months ago he is now this powerful. It should have something to do with the thing that made his Divinity special as mentioned by Ischyros

Due to his lacking Divinity that dictates the upper ceiling of his Gift, it was hard for the current Xianth to control his lifeforce

If controlling his mana was like pushing water down from a waterfall then controlling his life force felt like he was trying to run on a muddy field

He can run or in this case, use his lifeforce but it was by no means easy and Xianth had to focus hard

Fortunately, although it was hard it was still possible. Xianth controlled his lifeforce and a bloody aura appeared on his wounds as they starts to heal

The speed was not enough to satisfy Xianth as he feared that the merchant would catch up to him but his healing speed was still incredibly fast. If this was back on earth, at the very least he would require weeks to recover and possibly even more than a month

Grrrr...

Suddenly, Xianth's stomach growled as that familiar sense of hunger appeared. Lifeforce is still a form of energy and Xianth is someone that cannot have a low amount of energy if he does not want to lose his sanity

Fortunately, he has a convenient 'battery' sealed inside him and he consumed the mana of Ischyros and converted it into his own mana

It took some time before Xianth could move again and as soon as could, he immediately gathered mana at his palms to try his earlier hypothesis

In the past, Xianth merely covered his body with an energy aura or gather his mana at his palms and send it to his target

This time, he tried to actively shape his mana and to his delight, he managed to form a blade of mana on his palm

It seems like his Gift has more applications that he has to discover himself

Now that Xianth has a sharp object with him he started trimming the clothes he got from the guard

He cut the bottom part of the pants to make it shorter and he did the same with the shirt so that they will fit him better

When he was done, Xianth discarded the beast skin he got from the dead orc and changed into a new set of clothes

He also checked the pockets of the guards and he found sacks containing gold coins inside

These gold coins should be the currency of this world and Xianth pocketed all of the gold coins with no guilt. These people wanted to sell him as a slave, the least they could do to pay was give him their money

When he was all set, Xianth immediately moved out to finally enter a human society

Just like most people, Xianth had to wait in line before he could enter the Viscounty. While he was waiting in line, he tries to listen to the chat and gossip of the other people in line. Most are rubbish and useless information but he also learned some useful ones

Firstly, he is currently located at the Kromorus Viscounty which is composed of two cities

The first City is also the Viscounty's Capital; the Ilmer City which is owned by the House of Ilmer. As for the second city, it was a barony owned by Baron Pruton of the House Pruton

The entirety of the Viscounty is composed of those two cities owned by a Viscount and a Baron with the latter being a vassal of the former

Xianth took a mental note to avoid members of those families. Nobility in the fantasy world is mostly jerks and bitches. They think that they are better than everyone else

While Xianth still don't have enough power or status in this world, he should avoid such important people so that he wouldn't possibly offend them

"Hey, did you hear? Something seems to have happened in the Grandtou Mountain!"

"Right, I heard that too! The adventurers were suddenly prohibited from entering the forest and especially the mountain. What do you think is the reason?"

"Maybe, the Golden Tyrant of the Sky regained its freedom?"

"I don't think so! The Saintess is famous for her Chains and sealing Gift! She said that even if a hundred years were to pass, the Tyrant still wouldn't be able to break free!"

Xianth's ears perked up after hearing that discussion. Golden Tyrant of the Sky? That sounds like Ischyros!

But... adventurers are prohibited from entering the forest? Is this because words already got out that Ischyros has vanished?

Considering the spectacle that Xianth created after he broke out of that cave at the top of the mountain, it is not weird if many people learned that the creature that is supposed to be sealed has vanished
