Chapter 3: 5 Years later…

It has been 1 year since I got the system and I've been practicing the Basic Mana Art. I actually confess that I love every moment of my cultivation sessions! 9 hours per day and I've been killing it in the proficiency department!

Also, the way the mana surrounds me and sips into my body, makes me feel refreshed every time! The most magical thing was that at every stage that I leveled up with my Basic Mana Art as well as with the way my Basic Human Mana cultivation strength, they both put some additional information in my mind on how to cultivate them well and it's so fascinating!

However, after a year, my Basic Human Mana has been upgraded to its maximum level and the system won't allow me to upgrade it further unless I reach the age of 5! How sad was that!? Every day, I was always itching whenever I see the stacked-up proficiency points! It's already in the millions!

What a waste of time! But since I got a lot of time, I will still focus on my Basic Mana Art as it is still in stage 7 and I need it to be upgraded to its max level possible.

Lastly, I upgraded the system after earning 12 master points. It took 24 hours to upgrade and it increased my cultivation slots to [+2]. I'm happy with that!

Another year arrived and my 3rd birthday was celebrated. I am able to walk slowly at this time. My parents were also glad that I got some improvement, I acted as though, it was better not to show some ridiculous things to them as I'm just a toddler. Well… Earth's common sense? I don't know, but better be safe than sorry in this kind of world of magic. I must learn from the novels I read.

4 years… Ahh I've been in this world for 4 years already and I could talk basic words with my father and mother. Now, they've already hired some helping hands with a maid and it kept me company since they found new jobs and have been working. They even won't come back for days at times. How sad, but seems like they really needed the job to earn money. They always let me eat delicious food, though, some were weird meats too but tastes good nonetheless. As for me? What could I do? I kept activating the basic mana art 9 hours a day during my sleeping times, then, doing other things like being curious about the place we are currently at.

As for the maid, her name is Sarah and she seems to be quite good at taking care of me. I love it when I'm being pampered. She seemed to like me as well as I didn't give her hard times at all. She even confessed to my parents how obedient I am.

Well… how could I not? I'm cultivating! I don't have much time to do silly things! I'm also an adult in soul and mind! Could doing childish things be entertaining to me? The answer? No. I'm done doing childish things.

If I'm in this dangerous world, I might focus on survival more from the early stages of my life, so, that I can protect myself and my family from monsters and other dangers of this world. Probably from other mana or magic users of this world cause I know every world has its own criminals! It will never be gone and I know that for a fact!

I am 5 years old now! What a journey! I never thought I would be reborn as a baby in another world and even live up to 5 years old! Wow!

Well… the year has been great for me as life kept on as normal and I've been blessed by parents who loved me so much! When I even requested a book, they bought me one! It's a children's book about a hero who fought numerous foes (monsters) and lived to save the base. What propaganda! I guess in any world, politics never changes.

Whatever the case, I get to know small things in this world such as bases, dungeons, and monsters.
