Stuck with both of us

There, outside Hope orphanage institution stood Luna at 7 am waiting for her friends to show up out there as they decided earlier in the previous night when Rose asked Luna to join her in this mission .

It was winter, rain was pouring heavily these past days. She wore a purple Quilted Jacket above a warm white shirt, pair of jeans, and boots.

The weather was cold, especially at times like these when the sun still had not appeared in the sky.

' Why is it taking them so long to come here ? It is time and none of them showed up!"

Luna started to hit the front of her boats on the ground while looking in both directions anticipating their appearance.

Isa's character was never like this, she never showed up in time, and she always enjoyed being late to have attention to her when she showed up.

On the contrary, Luna learned the hard way that even a second of delay is worth days of misery.

' I feel like I am going to wait for a long time, neither of them showed up, and I kind of knew that I would wait for a long time, I told them, if you are going to be late then text me to know what to do but neither of them texted'

Luna sighed when it was past half an hour of her waiting in front of the orphanage gate. She didn't want to go there all alone, she wanted to be accompanied by them because it was their fault that she was there in the first place .

She started to blow hot breaths in her palm when she started to freeze. She kept standing under a long edge of that institution to cover herself from the rain as she felt very disappointed.

' Ah, and they say that we have to help to give the kids hot milk and chocolate, I think that they enjoyed playing those roles, nothing more, they wanted to pretend, and here I am, the only one who is actually here, does me showing up here means that I don't have a life ?"

" Good morning"

A male voice that she recognized perfectly, she turned in the direction of the voice to see his face in front of her .

She didn't reply to him because the moment she saw him closely , she remembered the kiss from that day .

She blushed immediately thinking that he was also thinking the same way, she felt exposed, and she felt like she was naked in front of him .

" Aren't you going to wish me good morning? "

' Like you deserve it ! I will never greet yoh you like that, you don't deserve after the things uou jave done to me '

Luna didn't reply to him , however, he stood in front of her this time while holding his big umbrella with his right hand, then said with a sarcastic smile :" Why are you here ? In this hour ? "

She didn't want to talk to him yet he was very persistent and they were the only ones there, so she replied:" For the community service thing, my friends are in this and they wanted me to join"

" But, you already know that I would be here, yet you came, which means that you really don't mind us meeting here, did you actually want to be here ?"

' How self-centric! I wouldn't be here if it wasn't for Rose, I knew that she would be a nightmare if I didn't join with her '

Luna kept her face straight as she said:" Where is everyone? "

"Hmmm, they all are sick, can you believe it ? apparently there isnsome virus spr8in compus, me and her , we are immune " He replied with a wicked smile on his face .

" Right, totally not suspicious"

' I want to run away, clearly, no one is coming, Rose and Joseph are not answering their phones which means that I would be forced to stay here with him, no, I can't let this happen'

The door of the institution opened immediately as she stepped one step away from him, he said with a cheerful smile :" Hey sister Maria, how are you, I missed you so so much "

He walked toward her leaving Luna stunned by the change in his attitude the moment he saw that sister.

' It is even a Catholic orphanage, is he sick or something? He is killing people every day yet he is here to give orphans their breakfast? I feel like I can't keep up with the change in his personality '

Luna didn't move an inch until she saw him coming toward her with her face having the same smile that he gave to that sister, he grabbed her hand and walked her toward the sister, Luna tried to make him release her because she didn't like any skin touching with him after all that happened, yet his hand was so strong.

Luna stood in front of the sister very confused because she was already going to leave this place when she realized that no one was coming and here she was .

"Ah I see a new member in your community service, hiiii, my name is Maria you can call me sister, or sister Maria or even Maria, I am so cool and I really don't mind with the titles, I am so happy that you are here to join us, I have to say that it may not have the most fun in the world but to these kids….. you are giving them hope and something to smile about, I am so thankful to have both of you here "

Sister Maria was very cheerful, she was a woman in her forties, a little bit fat and small, she has a round black eyes, and a contagious smile, she wore sisters robes, and with her sweet voice , it was very impossible to not like her

' With what she said, I feel so bad to leave the place'

" My name is Isa Kim, I really don't know how to help them but I will do whatever you ask me "

The sister catch both her hands and started to walk her inside the orphanage followed by Liam who was very delighted with the situation, Luna looked at him and she felt upset that she enjoyed him to this amount.

" Is it only both of you today, Liam ?

" Everyone is sick, I told you , I think there is some kind of virus spreading these days, so yeah, you are stuck with both of us, do you mind ? "
