I Can Perfect All Things

The day Heaven's Dimension came into existence was when the whole Universe was turned upside down. It was a mystical place that connected every race in the Universe. A place that was brimming with dangers and treasures. A place where a Race's survival hinged on them making a mark in it. With the Human Race's pitiful strength, their extinction was set in stone when their opponents weren't the animals they were used to but races like Dragons, Vampires, and Demons who also wanted to escape Extinction. Due to Humanity's hopeless situation, some believed the gods wanted them to pay for their sins while others thought the gods were seeking entertainment. But no matter what they thought nothing could stop their extinction. Amidst Humanity's despair, Ascenders arose —people who had managed to touch Humanity's limits and gain Unique Abilities. Since they weren't the only ones evolving, they were still left in square one —certain Extinction. Reincarnated into such a world as the son of a late Masseur, Alistar was considered a prodigy but was soon regarded as a dud after awakening two Abilities that they deemed useless. Knowing that he has to reach the top if he wants to live, Alistar tries to survive with the aid of his Abilities despite his Race's limitations hindering him. ************ 15 PS = 1 Bonus Chapter 30 PS = 2 Bonus Chapters 50 PS = 3 Bonus Chapters 75 PS = 4 Bonus Chapters 100 PS = 5 Bonus Chapters

The First Layer Of Ten Dimensions

Aware that his death was fast approaching, Alistar could only close his eyes as a tide of regret welled up within him.

He was powerless. Weak to the point where he couldn't even protect himself from such a weak monster.

If he can't even protect himself now how would he be able to do that when he was at the peak of the Universe? And all this was a result of his carelessness and looking at things from a reasonable angle.

It wasn't his fault that he looked at things reasonably as no one would expect a monster to live within a house that was on its last stretch of life since it was common knowledge that all monsters preferred living in places far away from Human reach. Well, that's what the government told them.

"Get revenge on the slut who cheated on me." Alistar scoffed, before adding. "What kind of pipe dream was that?"

Realizing that his aim of getting strong then going to kill his wife and boss in the Universe he once was an impossible task, Alistar was now able to see that the odds were stacked against him from the beginning.

He was born as a human, a race that was incredibly weak and relied on a cultivation path that wasn't given to them naturally. He wasn't born rich and lost his parents five years after his reincarnation, depriving him of all the resources he would need to grow stronger.

Finally closing his eyes which were gradually losing their luster, Alistar muttered under his breath. "If only I had more time."

"Time?" Alistar said with his eyes still closed.

"Time!" Opening his eyes wide, Alistar stared at the space in front of him finally finding out the answer to the third sentence of Ten Dimensions.

But even after waiting for some time, Alistar still didn't get a reply.

"I guess I was wrong." He said with a trace of despair in his voice before closing his eyes and accepting what was going to befall him.

But deep down, he hoped that it was going to be painless since the Green-scaled Vine Komodo's first attack had already sent him through a world of pain.

From the moment the Green-scaled Vine Komodo had attacked him till now, roughly about twenty seconds had gone by. More than enough time for the Komodo to put him out of his misery.

Yet he waited and waited but the cold embrace he anticipated never came. Instead, it felt like he was submerged in water. His body felt heavy but strangely it felt as if he could move freely despite the heaviness.

And what made it even weirder was that he wasn't feeling an ounce of pain. His injuries were still bleeding and if they weren't he would've thought that he was back in top shape.

Forcing himself to stand even though a good portion of his bones had been broken, Alistar finally noticed that the world seemed to have been different.

Slowly turning to look behind him, the first thing that came into Alistar's line of sight was the image of a dozen pointed vines a few inches away from his face.

They all seemed as hard as rods and produced visible distortions in the air. Apart from their abnormally slow speed, Alistar was surprised to see that the vines had a grayish color instead of green.

And it wasn't only the vines as the area around Alistar also had either a gray, black, or white pigment. Even the Green-scaled Vine Komodo wasn't spared as it also had the same colors but its eyes were still red.

It had kept its eyes locked on Alistar even though time was slowed by a terrifying degree.

Although amazed by the power of the first layer of Ten Dimensions, Alistar knew that he was short on time since time flow could return to how it once was in the blink of an eye so he decided to continue from where he stopped.

Slowly making his way toward the desk, Alistar gave the Green-scaled Vine Komodo a nasty glare before proceeding to ignore it.

Upon reaching the desk, Alistar placed his hand into one of the drawers before pulling out a key that had the same black and white pigment as everything around him.

It had a huge chunk missing from its diamond-shaped head, its body was covered in several scratch marks and chips clearly showing how long it had withstood the passage of time, and despite its smooth appearance, the key was rough as a sandpaper.

Staring at the key for some time, Alistar tightened his grip around it before placing it in his pocket and walking away but not without glaring at the Green-scaled Vine Komodo one last time.

He walked towards a bookshelf that was not too far from where he previously lay before running his hand through its surface.

Akin to an expert who had done this countless times, Alistar ignored the books on the shelf as he began to lightly tap the shelf.

Unhesitatingly pulling out the key and putting it into its keyhole, Alistar took a step back and watched as the shelf slowly opened in front of him.

Its movement was so slow that it seemed to be in the same spot, thereby highlighting the fact that only Alistar could move at his normal speed in this black-and-white world.

"Argh!!"

With the pain of using a Technique finally kicking in, Alistar clutched onto his head with his right hand.

His eyes were bloodshot with a few tear drops streaking out, the veins all over his body had popped up looking akin to snakes slithering all around him, and his eyes were feeding him false images as there were times when he saw the Green-scaled Vine Komodo gobble him up, he had blood streaking from both his nostrils, and he felt like he had a nasty hangover.

His world was spinning. His limbs felt like jelly. He felt empty like everything within him had been sucked dry.

Thud!!

Losing the power he had in his limbs, Alistar crashed face-first into the ground after the Adrenaline that had been coursing through his bloodstream got consumed to keep his Technique active.

This was why those who hadn't awakened shouldn't use Techniques. It consumes everything within them just so that it can fuel itself from organs to every cell within them. Heck, even their bones and clothes weren't spared as it'll drain them for fuel.

And in the end, nothing would be left to prove that they once existed. As for them exploding after they try to use a Technique, it was a lie fabricated by the Government to deter them from trying since a fool might get the feeling that his energy capacity was large and try it.

Almost passing out after even his renal glands were consumed, several waves of pain crashed into Alistar akin to a tsunami.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!!"

He screamed in pain after feeling that his cells were gradually getting consumed by his Technique.

Although it was less messy than the one fabricated by the government, the pain was unbearable as the feeling of having your body gradually deteriorate could drive someone insane, and all this while the person was alive.

Unable to bear the pain that threatened to consume him, Alistar's vision gradually blurred with his eyes rolling to the back of his head.

Leaving him unconscious and thereby making his Technique deactivate itself —saving him from dying by his Technique but leaving him bare to Komodo's attacks.
