Don't You Dare Ignore Me
Jacob patted his shoulder, "I understand after all that happened, you would worry about him, but I would say don't worry this much. The worse times are over and now only happiness is going to surround you." He tried to cheer the guy and Steve politely smiled.
Jacob again looked back and looked at the four people, "Seems like her mood improved" He muttered to himself when he saw Erica smiling cheerfully.
Steve followed his gaze and it pissed him off to see Jacob looking at Erica and murmuring something.
"What did you just say?" Steve tried to act as casual as possible.
"Erica. She was in a foul mood earlier but now she seems fine" Jacob had a faint smile painted on his lips.
"Why do you care she is in a good mood or a foul mood?" Steve was already not in a good state of mind, and now he was even more annoyed.
"How can I not care; she works for me"
Steve hoped that was indeed the case as he didn't wish it to be anything else.
