I Can Go To The Apocalypse Cultivation World

Since the interaction with space civilizations, cultivation has become the most desirable thing on earth, something that can transform ordinary humans into celestial beings with powers that can destroy mountains and earth. Unfortunately not everyone can cultivate because of how difficult it is. Only one million out of ten billion humans have succeeded. David was one of those who couldn't cultivate. However, that changes when he finds a ring that can send him to the real world of cultivation, a world that is unfortunately not what he imagined as the cultivators there have become zombies who only know how to run amok.

First Move

David was silent for a while before nodding.

"Okay, I'll give it a try and see if it's easy or hard. For now, I want to go home first," he said.

With a thought, he summoned a portal from the ring on his hand.

It appeared instantly, indicating that he could go home.

He stood up and stepped into the portal.

This time he also passed through the tunnel of light before.

Only, he felt that everything was shorter.

Without realizing it, he reappeared inside his room which had become very messy as even the mattress had been cut into several pieces.

He could not help but show a strange expression at the sight.

After briefly looking at the clock which turned out to be around 12 am, he walked to the door, exiting his room where there were stairs in front of the room's door.

Apparently even that staircase became shattered.

However, he had no problem jumping now.

As soon as he jumped, he startled the female figure who was sitting in the living room.

"David," the woman said.

She was Elisa, David and Isabella's mother.

At first glance, she still looked to be in her early 30s, had a slim body, and short blonde hair.

Saying that she is a model is not an exaggeration at all.

Unfortunately, she did wear a rather poor outfit, the kind that would only be suitable for taking to the fields.

It seemed that she had also just returned from the fields.

After being surprised, the woman's expression suddenly became angry when she saw David.

"Where have you been, 20 days without coming home, and what have you done to your little sister?" she asked in a high tone.

Unfortunately, her high tone did nothing to dispel David's relaxed demeanor.

He who was already a cultivator had a different mentality.

"Mom, where is she?" he asked calmly in response.

"The forest. She goes there a lot now, and always comes home late, sometimes she's only home in the morning," Elisa replied.

"Ohhh..." David thought that the girl was probably sulking.

However, he wasn't too worried because the forest behind their village wasn't that dangerous. In fact, he often went in there.

Wanting a drink, he finally went to the kitchen. He also wanted to see the forest from the kitchen because their house was behind the village so the forest was behind their house.

Seeing David leave so casually, Elisa couldn't help but freeze, somewhat shocked.

"David, you haven't told me what you did to Isabella," she said.

David was too lazy to tell her. He waved his hand back and replied, "don't worry, it's just a small matter!"

Through the kitchen window, David saw the forest clearly.

It was full of trees but the distance between each tree was wide enough that the area inside the forest was quite open.

"Mm!"

David only looked at the forest for a short while before being startled as he suddenly saw an explosion of spiritual aura that was transparent in color.

From the center of the explosion, he saw the figure of Isabella, landing on the ground from the top of a tree.

"What's going on? She has advanced to the Third Stage of the Dragon Warrior."

David said that because only after a cultivator reached the Third Stage of the Dragon Warrior could he then release the aura.

In the first stage, a cultivator will get an increase in agility while in the second stage will get an increase in physical strength.

In the third stage, agility and physical strength will increase drastically to a level that can completely ignore ordinary humans.

(Master, so she's your little sister. She seems to be very talented.) System suddenly said.

"She was only in the first stage 20 days ago, and that was the result of more than 1 month of training. Why is she advancing so fast now? Is she relying on something?" David asked.

(I can't guess. Maybe she's getting other opportunities besides the ring you stole from her.") System replied.

"That makes sense." David nodded.

He didn't know where Isabella got the ring yet. It was possible that she got it from somewhere with a lot of treasure.

Since the cultivation era, that kind of place often appeared without anyone knowing its origin.

Of course, with his previous experience, David was sure that Isabella would not tell him the place.

After landing, Isabella quickly found David's figure standing behind the kitchen window.

Seeing him, her eyes instantly became sharp.

"David, give me back my ring!" She shouted and ran towards the window.

Her speed was enough to surprise David, making him instantly conclude that he would be in trouble if she arrived in front of him.

Without thinking, he summoned the portal again, grabbed a knife from the kitchen table before entering the portal, and made it disappear.

Isabella only arrived when he had disappeared.

Her face turned red while her breathing became very fast, it was obvious that she was very angry.

David who appeared in the cultivation world just smiled, thinking that he could finally toy with the girl.

"Now, where can I find those zombies?" David asked System.

(Go to the bottom of the mountain, there are small villages where novice cultivators live. Most of them are First Stage to Third Stage Dragon Warriors. They are the most ordinary humans who managed to cultivate thanks to the rich spiritual energy of this world, but failed to develop further.) System replied.

David nodded before looking down the mountain.

He didn't see the village he was referring to as there were trees blocking it.

With the knife in his hand, he started walking down, occasionally looking back to see the giant creature with six arms.

He descended at a leisurely pace, unhurried for fear of being ambushed by anything.

Looking at the ground, he found that the leaves looked neat, in the sense that there were no particular traces as if no one had passed by for a very long time.

Of course, the journey down the mountain was quite long. David would have been exhausted if he were a normal human.

About 30 minutes later, he finally saw a village located right at the foot of the mountain, surrounded by lush farmland.

The village didn't look run down at all so passers-by would think that it was a village with residents.

However, from where he was now, David didn't see a single resident in the village.

Even so, he became more vigilant as his instincts told him that the liaison of the village was inside their respective homes.

(Will I be detected if I approach silently?) David asked the System. This time, he finally spoke with his mind.

His plan was to infiltrate one of the houses and kill the zombie inside secretly.

That would minimize the risk.

(You can try it. After all, the zombies in this village are from ordinary cultivators with weak detection capabilities.) System replied.

(I see!)

David immediately moved, following the array of trees, taking cover behind them as he approached a rather small house.

The windows of the house were tightly closed and happened to be pointed at the place where he was.

While his goal was that house, he also kept an eye out for other houses.

Seeing that everything was safe and fine, he let out an occasional sigh of relief.

After a while, he finally arrived in front of that window.

Then, he brought his eyes closer to one of the small holes of the house.

"Mm!"

His eyes instantly widened while his heart raced as he saw the figure of a man standing with his back to the window.

He was wearing a very old gray robe with a slightly stooped body.

(Master, stab him in the back!) The system gave instructions that David found ridiculous.

It was not that he was afraid, but how he attacked with a wall in front of him.

He needed to open the window first before attacking.

However, David suddenly got an idea as he looked up.

Apparently there was a large gap that was enough for him to enter. It was right under the roof of the house.

Quickly, he jumped into it.

With the height of his jump now, his hands managed to reach the gap.

He then climbed up at the fastest speed he could.

Although he tried to slow down, his movements were still detected by the figure inside the house.

The figure turned around but only looked at the window behind him, not up.

David's face froze slightly when he saw the figure's face.

It was a typical human face except that the skin was extremely pale and the gaze was completely blank.

Not wanting to be seen, David jumped straight at the zombie with a knife aimed at its neck.

Shua!

The knife instantly pierced through the zombie's neck until it sank completely.

No blood spurted, but the zombie's body wobbled.

David kicked it because he didn't want to get too close to the creature.

His eyes looked around in quick movements, searching for another weapon.

And sure enough, there was a spear.

Although it seemed to be full of rust, David picked it up eagerly.

After that, he stabbed the spear into the zombie's chest.

The worry that the zombie would fight back made him want to kill it as quickly as possible.

DING!

(You have killed a Level 1 zombie, you get 5% EXP!)

Level: 1

EXP: 5%

(Physical: Mortal)

(Soul: Mortal)

(Heart: Mortal)

(Technique: None)

"What? Do I just get experience?" David couldn't help but ask because he thought he would get a technique or something.

(Sorry Master, but the zombie you killed is just like you, it has no special physique, soul, or heart. It also doesn't have any techniques.)
