On-shelf Reflections

Imagine a parallel world: Its history took a turn in the time of the Three Sovereigns and Five Emperors, where all ancient legends became real - gods, demons, conjurers who could summon winds or summon rain, swallow clouds and exhale mists, people possessing the ability to move mountains and overturn seas, conducting mystical practices for transcendence, achieving longevity and immortality... In such a world, how would the history of humanity evolve?

Would human history still advance from a slave society to a semi-slave semi-feudal society, and then to a feudal society?

If humans eventually form nations and a strong leader unifies all territories establishing a dynasty...

Then what kind of social system would a dynasty form in a world filled with practitioners, gods, demons, good and evil sects, and ordinary citizens?

This question that arose a long time ago prompted me to conceive this book.
