Another encounter. Hope it not goes like the previous one.

Two hours earlier.

In front of the mall.

"So this is the biggest mall in this city. Now its more like a zombies nest."

Said Kelvin as he was entering the mall.

There were a lot of zombies inside and outside of the mall.

"There probably is a mutant here too. I both want and don't want to meet another mutant."

After going inside he ordered the zombies to step aside like he usually does whenever he goes to places crowded with zombies.

*sniff* *sniff*

After entering Sara began to sniff around.

"Is something wrong?"

Seeing she was smelling the surroundings Kelvin also tried doing it.

*sniff*

"There's a familiar smell here. I think I smelled the same smell in the school building. Is it humans?"

Kelvin smelled the smell of humans. Although it was faint he could smell it because of his enhanced senses.

"The smell is coming from the stairs used by the staff members and is coming from downwards. I think they are in the basement."

Although he could just go and meet them in the basement he decided not to since there might be some unwanted trouble.

Though it didn't matter since it was in his fate that he would meet them and the encounter is going to happen soon.

Then Kelvin went around the mall and got the things that he wanted and some extra things that will be a secret for now.

'Hehehe this will the night more exciting.'

Sara tilted her head in a questioning expression when he saw the smirk on his face.

She didn't know what he took since she was not with him for some ten ish minutes in the middle.

Though she will discover about it soon.

After two and a half hours.

After roaming in the mall for two hours Kelvin decided to leave.

He decided to go down using the stairs for the staffs.

When he was about to reach the ground floor he suddenly heard the sound of foot steps.

He quicky brought his hand gun out and pointed at the person who's foot steps he heard just now.

"Who are you?"

The one who being pointed at moved both his hands above their head.

"Wait stop. Please put your gun away, I don't mean any harm to you two."

Said the man who's hair and eyes were black while having cold sweat.

He was having cold sweat seeing he was at the mercy of the man holding the gun.

"Who are you?"

Kelvin again asked.

"Hey, isn't it impolite to ask someones name without telling your name first."

Hearing this Kelvin gaze sharply at the man and again asked "Who are you?"

"Okay okay, I will tell you. My name is John."

"Kelvin."

"Okay, now that we know each other's name will you please put your gun away."

"No."

"Well its not like I can do anything while a gun is pointed at me. How about we go to the basement? There are many survivors here. It's already getting late so why don't you spend the night here. We also have food."

Then Kelvin out the gun away.

John left out a sigh of relief when he was not being pointed at by the gun anymore.

"So , how many are in the basement. Since its a mall there should be quite a few."

"Yes, there are about 11 survivors including me. Though it will be 13 with you guys now."

"How long have you been here?"

"Since the start."

"So , you have been using the supplies from the storage."

"Yes. Though we have to go out often to bring things from the outside. Today happens to be my turn."

"Hmm~"

After that they went to the underground basement.

Then John opened one of the doors and went inside with Kelvin and Sara behind.

On other side of the door were a few people. Exactly 11 of them as John told them.

They were wary of Kelvin when he entered.

"Hey guys calm down they are our new friends, they will be staying with us for tonight. I hope you guys can get along with there two."

John tried to calm them down.

"Why did you bring them John? Even if they will stay here tonight they are still going to use our supplies."

"Hey hey quite down. We have enough supplies to feed two extras for ones."

"Bu---."

The one who was protesting became silent when Kelvin put down a bag full of food stuffs.

"You can have this."

"Wow! There are so many of them. Are you sure you want to give this to us."

"Yes. I don't like to owe someone. So I am going to stay here in exchange for these."

Then he looked towards the people who were protesting a while ago.

"If you have any objections, tell it now."

"No , we don't have any objections, right guys?"

"""No."""

'Hmph. They only think about themselves.'
