"You..."
Everyone was stunned, including Astride.
Astride lowered his head, seemingly deep in thought. The dark shade the hid his eyes made Elias slightly nervous.
But, thankfully it was just nothing.
"I see, I see... Interesting..."
Astride nodded as he let out a chuckle. He turned to look at Elias and gave a deep look at him.
Elias smiled but his composure slightly cracked all of a sudden, immense pain assaulting his body.
After breaking two of his arms in succession, he couldn't just brush it off as though it was nothing.
By the looks of it, he can't have any action for the day. He was starting to question whether this decision was really wise.
But considering the things at stake and the potential benefits, a day of exhaustion and pain was nothing.
"...We'll go now. You'll honor your promise, right?"
Despite the pain, Elias had found the energy to regain his composure. He looked at Astride calmly.
