Chapter 17 Lake Of Fate, Zaria

Eian brought Amaya at a lake under the academy boundaries to do project together they were assigned at potion class.

She was completely mesmerized by the beauty of the lake, water of the lake was crystal clear and was glistening under the sunlight. The lake was surrounded by green grass tall trees and various beautiful flowers.

"Wow! Eian this place is beautiful!", said Amaya looking at the lake.

"You like it? Well this is lake of fate, Zaria. I come here often for studying.

"It's beautiful but I wonder why is it called lake of fate?", said Amaya confused.

"Well legend has it that it shows one's destine soulmate!", said Eian feeling nervous.

"Destined soulmate? But how?", said Amaya looking confused.

"You have to look at it and reflection of you will change into his reflection ", said Eian smiling gently.

"I see, well did you look at it?", said Amaya smiling teasingly.

"Uh.... well....yes", said Eian feeling anxious a bit and a blush creep across his face.

"Well who do you saw?, said Amaya teasingly leaning in close to him.

"I saw you!! That's why I agree when you propose me for marriage", said Eian blurting out blushing hard.

"Oh really? To be honest you're looking so adorable right now that I want to eat you!", mumbled Amaya after seeing him blushing hard.

"What did you just say?", asked Eian confused.

"Nothing let's just began our project", said Amaya nervously changing the subject.

After doing the project both decided to stay here for a while. Both started walking alongside the lake.

"I like it here! Shall we come here again? I want us to spend our time here more often", said Amaya and hugged his arm.

"We will! This will be our secret place ", said Eian smiling gently after turning to face her.

Amaya suddenly looked at her reflection and then suddenly her reflection turned into Eian, she smiled but suddenly it changed into Rhys's face and then it changes into Lucas's face and then into Suoh's face and then into Van's face and then into Zyon and then into another man's face she doesn't know him as they have not met yet. Then this repeat again. She gets scared and backs away a little. Eian noticed that.

"Amaya you okay?", said Eian feeling worried.

"I'm fine and you know I just saw you too!", said Amaya brushing off scared face.

"I think we should head back now, it's getting late", said Eian blushing hard embarrassed.

"Alright you can go I'll just stay here for a while", said Amaya smiling gently.

He left and she slumped on ground and looked at her reflection once more and again saw same faces.

"If this lake shows who's our destined soulmate then that means I have.... they are.... this is so unfair!", she said to herself protesting and then she returned. She slumped on a bench feeling down. She sat alone when Zyon came to her.

"Hey you okay?", said Zyon and sat beside her.

"I just feel down!", said Amaya sighing sadly.

She was exhausted and tired and her eyes felt heavy.

"May I borrow your shoulder for a while?", said Amaya looking exhausted and yawning.

"Alright but you do have a class later!", said Zyon noticing her sleepiness.

"Then you are here! wake me up when it's time, you will right? My sugar cube!", said Amaya feeling sleepy and finally she lie her head on his shoulder and closed her eyes.

Hearing her say "My sugar cube left him blushing hard to the ears. He then smiled gently and hold her hand.
