Meeting the Gods! (Part 3)

Shiva gave a hearty laugh,

"haha! Very well...The Lava you passed through do you know how could you do it"

Lucifer answered right away "power of will?"

"Indeed but the will of mortals is not enough to even lift a feather directly lest split the heavenly lava….."After a pause Shiva continued

"But you could do it because you are not a mortal you are not even from our universe so to speak"

Lucifer's neck was tilted and his face had a bizarre expression, part of him displayed I have had enough of this shit expression while other part of him was already tired of the roller coaster turn of events.

God Shiva looking at Lucifer's expression gave a dry laugh and continued,

"let me explain from the beginning. After entrapment of the Helians was completed the last wisp of the god of will before dissipating had given us his ring of destiny which he always had on him. The ring had its own space where we found only two things. The first one was a Skill Book the same one that the god of Will had used after going through it we more or less understood that skill wasn't meant for entrapment rather it was to call upon the soul of universe asking for its help. The skill granted the user a shield of any form one desired we speculated this shield was nothing but the entrapment God Of Will had created. The other thing that the skill granted was a sword to defeat any obstacle. But there was no presence of any sword or anything inside the ring except…."

Lucifer after hearing this entire story carefully murmured in a faint voice as if speaking to himself,

"except for the second thing found inside the ring..."

God Shiva took a deep breath and looked at Lucifer's curious expression after which he sighed and said in a mysterious tone,

"yes except for the second thing inside the ring .....which was you"

Lucifer's heart skipped a beat, his breathing was erratic he couldn't fathom what was going on.

When god Shiva asked him whether he wanted to know about his origins all he expected was may be he would come to know who his father or mother were or a cliché like you are the son of emperor. He had even gone so far as to think he might be the son of God Of Will so as to be ready for the revelation that was yet to come. But when the actual bomb was dropped it was a severe hit to Lucifer's mental health. Forget about being son of God of Will or the emperor his father and mother were the universe.

Lucifer was so out of his mind that he unconsciously started laughing like a maniac thinking how ridiculous this idea was.

God Shiva looked at Lucifer's dazed expression with sudden maniacal laughs in between and gave a sigh, so did all other gods.

After a minute or so Lucifer had came back to reality. He was panting as if he had just done a heavy workout. But right then a gentle green wisp entered his body. His state of mind quickly returned to a calm state.

God Shiva looked at fairy Xia and gave an appreciating smile after which he continued,

"So little friend…"

But right then Lucifer's angry voice could be heard,

"Stop with the little friend first of all my name is Lucifer not little or small or friend its Lucifer Godfell."

God Shiva gave a understanding smile and thought to himself,

"Hehe! But you forgot your middle name 'Universe' " but he didn't say it loud although he did feel it would be a great comeback but he still gave up the thought and continued,

"Alright Lucifer, after we found you as a baby inside the ring we brought you with us and freezed you in a divine artefact called lotus of time. So that you could only wake up when the time was right."

Lucifer gave a nod and asked, "how were you so sure that I would come here though?"

God Odin took a step forward and gave a signal to God Shiva, guess it was time to change the orator.

"you were the child born with destiny of universe so the aura of destiny coming from you was unique in this world all we had to do was give a unique signal that could only attract one who had the mark of destiny on him. You must have sensed something telling you to approach this place when the magical phenomenon on earth began that was precisely our call but we never thought you would appear so soon."

Lucifer furrowed his brows he never felt this kind of feeling but he immediately brushed it off as there were many other things to worry about. Lucifer gave a frustrating sigh and started speaking,

"I guess the seal of magic will be weakening henceforth and in the near future the entrapment put upon the Helians will break."

After a pause Lucifer continued again,

"So my job is to become strong enough till then and to play as the role of the 'sword' to stop these Helians before they wreck the universe right?"

Odin closed his eyes and nodded in an elderly fashion stroking his beard.

But Lucifer's eyes suddenly turned sharp,
