Not Everyone Can Handle Infinite Energy

"Defeat him... Of course... If it truly comes to a fight right now... I can utterly crush him in my palms!"

Saber's palms faced the skies as he clenched them tightly when remembering Oblivion's unbothered expression when they previously fought.

Did he not know who this Emperor Saber was?! A mere copy dared to show such a face when facing his origin?!

Blasphemy!!

Saber was angered every time he thought of Oblivion but... he calmed down as his aura suddenly began to spike. Appearing in front of him was a complete replica of himself.

This wasn't a copy, no, this was him, just of a previous time.

Using the power of time, he called this 'him' a time clone. Yeah, it had the name clone but it wasn't a clone per se. This him simply existed at a different time, while he fought Sand Demon King, with the power of time, another him, a second ago, appeared in the future!

As both their bodies became ethereal, they then fused, and the rate at which their power spiked instantly shot through the roof!!

In a grand tornado of flames reaching the skies and gathering the attention of Adrianna and the remaining Sand Demons, what exited the tornado of red and black flames was a tall three-meter body with white baggy martial art pants and a bare upper body.

But, unlike Saber, this upper body was different... His now four arms and chest were filled with red flaming fur and his purple star-shaped pupils had hints of a goldish red...

"True Profound Immortal... Level 4!!!"

Hehe...

Who was that Oblivion to the current him?!

"For I am, Saber Blade, the most perfect of lifeforms!"

THRUM!!

Gazing at the palm of his hands before clenching them, Saber refocused his attention to the skies where a battle between Adrianna and her opponents numbering over one hundred was still taking place, albeit paused, as all the participants of the battle were in shock, and rooted in place from what they were seeing.

Saber's power soo great, his mere aura froze them in place as after devouring the Sand Demon King, he had once more evolved into something beyond!

"Now! We have to do it now!!!" A Sand Demon who seemed to be the leader of the tens of Sand Demons in the skies shouted suddenly after seeing Saber's transformation. Instantly after, his figure descended to the earth, followed by the other Sand Demons, leaving Adrianna alone in the skies.

In an instant, they all landed on the desert, already surrounding Saber. Two Sand Demons stood on either side of Saber from behind him, while two others stood on either side in front of him. The others followed by standing behind those four. With Saber in the center, from Adrianna's view of the skies, it seemed like a large number of ants formed into an X...

WAAA!!

A bright light engulfed everyone present in the weird formation including Saber. The auras of the Sand Demons present began rising steadily yet quickly and inched closer and closer to matching Saber's unreal aura. The scary part was that, unlike the one Saber, there were close to one hundred Sand Demons, and if each of their auras could match Saber, there wasn't a way for Saber to survive their rage... right?!

Seeing this, Adrianna quickly descended from the skies and cloaked her hand in a dark aura that formed an illusionary claw as she sent this claw toward the center, where the four Sand Demons were since it seemed like the auras needed to pass through the Sand Demons before it could reach the others.

BOOM!

Her claws of darkness suddenly contacted with a thick impenetrable wall of energy as she saw a random Sand Demon suddenly waving his hand, blocking her attack with utter ease.

'Huh?!'

Such power...?

Casually waving his hand, her full-powered attack was dispersed...!

If they used power like that previously when facing her, she would have been dead...

"Oh, don't be too confused... This little formation of theirs simply absorbs the energy of the one in the center, their target, and the energy goes into their bodies, raising their strength while weakening their opponent... a truly powerful and troublesome technique if not for the fact that..."

Saber's voice entered Adrianna's ears, shocking not only her but the surrounding Sand Demons...

If Saber knew, then why would he so willingly allow for it to happen... and have that calm smirk on his face...?

BOOM!

Splatter!!

Suddenly, Adrianna's vision was covered by a hue of gold... In the blink of an eye, everybody of any living Sand Demon exploded into a golden bloody mist, leaving Adrianna's mouth agape. The now lone figure of Saber standing on the sand had a huge grin on his face.

Walking in the puddles of golden blood, Saber mumbled to himself, yet Adrianna, with her enhanced hearing, could still clearly perceive his words without much difficulty.

Sigh!

"It seems not everyone can handle infinite energy!" His ability to constantly evolve skyrockets any time something can bring him harm. So, when his body sensed someone or something sucking in his energy, he naturally grew stronger by said act as his energy reserves...

They doubled...

Then tripled...

Quadrupled...

So and so forth.

He didn't have Infinite reserves of energy, but his constant evolutions expanded his energy reserves infinitely making it so that he would never run out of energy, unlike most other lifeforms!

He was simply such an unnatural existence...

For he was Saber Blade...!

"Anyway, what's with your new look?" Adrianna asked. The duo, along with Leviathan who had long entered Saber's chest again, had been calmly flying in the skies, letting the wind assault their senses as they approached another region of the Fourth Floor.

From the memories of the Sand Demon King, there were multiple regions of this Fourth Floor, and where they were heading was the northern part of the Fourth Floor. But, they had been traveling for a few days now, and they still were in the Desert region, simply proving how unimaginably large the Fourth Floor of hell was...

"My new look... Hehe, don't you think it's badass...?" Saber said. In his 'new look' he had remained in his true form with his Perfect Star State and the red flaming fur for everyone to see. His true intention was to fully master Perfect Star State which used up too much energy.

What if he couldn't constantly evolve...? He didn't know what weird abilities others have so he wanted to make sure that, even with a limited amount of energy, he'll be able to use his full power for an extended period... Yes, he was arrogant but arrogance came from confidence, and confidence came from preparations. His preparations for anything unexpected are what gave him confidence...

"Badass...? You look like a primal beast without any intelligence... well, taking away the fur, you look a lot more badass..." Adrianna replied with a slight chuckle. Her smile expressed how playful her mood was.

Sigh!

With a soft sigh, the flaming red fur on his body disappeared along with his star-shaped eyes. Not only that but, his pupils turned bloody red along with his hair. Short spiky red hair as his nails blackened and imitated the look of claws.

If he wasn't in his full-powered true form, he would much rather be in his vampiric form since in this form he could survive almost any type of attack even surviving from just a drop of blood!...
