Chapter 8 training

As I stepped out of the house, a surge of excitement coursed through me. Despite the slight guilt of lying to my parents, I was eager to begin my training as Spider-Man.

Taking a deep breath, I focused my mind on the task at hand. I needed to train my webbing, crawling, and Spider-Sense, as the quest from the Spider-Man System had instructed.

"System, do you have a map?" I inquired, hoping to find a suitable location for my training session.

The AI System responded promptly, "Yes, I have a map."

"Show me the map where there are no people, you know, a good training spot," I requested.

"Okay, host," the system replied.

A holographic display of the area surrounding Forest Hills appeared before me, showing different locations and landmarks. As I scanned the map, my eyes fell upon a secluded forest clearing nestled among the trees.

"Ah, that looks perfect," I said, pointing to the spot on the map. "It's away from the city, so I won't attract any unwanted attention. Plus, it looks like there are plenty of trees and open space for training."

With the location of my training spot chosen, I set off towards the forest clearing, eager to begin my training as Spider-Man. As I made my way through the winding paths of the forest, a sense of excitement coursed through me, driving me forward towards my goal.

Arriving at the secluded area, I took a moment to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere. The rustling of leaves and the chirping of birds provided the perfect backdrop for my training session, far removed from the hustle and bustle of city life.

With a sense of purpose, I activated the Spider-Man System interface and called up the quest details once more, ready to begin my training in earnest.

"Alright, time to get to work," I muttered to myself, a determined glint in my eyes. "First up, webbing."

Focusing my attention on my wrist, I concentrated on activating my organic webbing ability. Closing my eyes, I visualized the web shooters on my wrists and the sensation of shooting out webs with precision and control.

With a mental command, I felt a surge of energy coursing through me as my organic webbing activated. Opening my eyes, I watched in amazement as thin strands of webbing shot out from my wrists, forming intricate patterns in the air.

"Whoa, this is incredible," I said, marveling at the sight before me. "I can actually control my webbing with my mind."

As I chuckled at my newfound skills, a thought crossed my mind. "Damn, is it because of my intelligence that I can do it with my mind?, hehehe I must be Professor X" I joked aloud, amused by the idea.

the AI System responded, "You're wrong, host. Remember Tobey Maguire's Spider-Man? He can shoot organic web from his wrist because he's using his mind to command the organic web to shoot from his wrist."

"I already knew that, even though it wasn't explained explicitly how he can control the organic web in his wrist. It's just a simple thing to point out. Tsk, I just wanted to boast myself. No need to be a cheapskate," I said grumpily.

Ai System:.....

With a shake of my head and a smile playing at my lips, I turned my attention back to my training. "Alright, time to test out this swinging thing," I muttered to myself, feeling a mix of excitement and trepidation.

Stepping back, I scanned the area for a suitable spot to practice my swinging. Spotting a sturdy branch overhead, I aimed my web shooters and shot out a strand of webbing, latching onto the branch with precision.

Taking a deep breath, I swung forward, feeling the exhilarating rush of wind against my face as I soared through the air. "Holy Moly please don't let me crash into the trees!" I shouted out loud as I swung, narrowly missing hitting a big branch.

With each swing, I grew more confident in my ability to control my momentum and trajectory, adjusting my movements with split-second precision to avoid any potential obstacles."Oops, watch out!" I yelled as I dodged another branch, feeling the thrill of swinging through the air.

As I swung from tree to tree, I couldn't wipe the smile off my face. "This is awesome!" I yelled, loving every minute of it.

With each swing, I felt more confident. And with a bit of practice and a whole lot of fun, I knew I'd become a pro at swinging through the trees like a real Spider-Man.

With a sense of satisfaction, I began experimenting with different web patterns and techniques, honing my control and accuracy with each shot. As I practiced, I could feel my connection to the webbing strengthening, allowing me to manipulate it with greater finesse.

After spending some time perfecting my webbing skills, I moved on to the next aspect of my training: crawling.

As I climbed the trees, I tried to be like Spider-Man in the movies. But instead of looking cool like him, I kept slipping and sliding. I thought it would be easy because Spider-Man makes it look easy in the movies, but it's not like that in real life.

"I thought this would be easy like in the movies," I mumbled to myself, feeling a bit embarrassed. "Oops, guess real life isn't like the movies."

Even though I kept slipping, I didn't let it get me down. I laughed at myself and kept going, determined to get better at climbing.

Finally, I reached the top of the tallest tree. I laughed at how silly I must have looked. But from up there, I could see the whole forest, and it was amazing. Even though I wasn't as graceful as Spider-Man, I was still making progress.

Feeling proud of what I'd done, I climbed down from the tree. Now, it was time to work on my Spider-Sense, the last part of my training.

"System, how do I train my Spider-Sense when I don't even have an enemy to fight?" I asked, feeling a bit puzzled.

"Don't worry, host. Just close your eyes and let me take care of the rest," replied the AI System.

Following the system's instructions, I closed my eyes, and suddenly, I felt disoriented. When I opened my eyes again, I was in a different place altogether.

"Whoa, where am I?" I exclaimed in surprise.

"You are in a simulation created by the system," explained by the AI System.

"A simulation? So, this will help me develop my Spider-Sense?" I asked, feeling a mix of excitement and confusion.

"Yes, host. This simulation is designed to help enhance your Spider-Sense," confirmed the AI System.

As I looked around, I found myself in a big white room with no windows. It was super bright, and there were sounds like guns shooting and lasers zapping all over.

"Okay, let's see what's up with this simulation," I said to myself, getting ready for whatever was coming.

Suddenly, bullets started flying at me from all directions! I had to move fast to dodge them, using my Spider-Sense to figure out where they were coming from.

As the bullets came flying from all sides, I used my Spider-Sense to know where they were going. I moved really fast, ducking and swerving to avoid getting hit by any of them.

"Phew, this is intense!" I muttered, feeling the adrenaline pumping through my veins as I continued to evade the incoming fire.

I watched the bullets carefully and moved out of the way just in time. Each time I dodged, I felt like I was getting better at sensing where the bullets were coming from. It was like my Spider-Sense was getting stronger with every dodge.

Even though the simulation was crazy and wild, I stayed super focused and determined. I kept going, working really hard to make my Spider-Sense even better.

After dodging bullets for what felt like a really long time, the shooting finally stopped. I stood in the middle of the room, panting and feeling tired, but also super excited that I made it through the challenge.

"Phew, that was tough," I panted, wiping my forehead as I looked around the room. "Without the Spider-Sense Enhance as a reward back then, I might've been in trouble dodging all those bullets!"

"Well, you see my spider sense has been enhanced, so when you focus solely on your Spider-Sense without interference, it would feel like Emperor Eye, you know, like Akashi. So yeah, I feel the bullet coming at me even though it hasn't happened; that will work only if I focus on it though."

The AI System chimed in, "You don't need to worry, host. Even if you died here in the simulation, you won't die in real life."

Relieved by the AI System's reassurance, I took a moment to catch my breath and collect my thoughts.

"Thanks for the heads up," I replied, grateful for the reminder that this was just a simulation.

(After training like an hour suddenly the Spider-Man System chimed in)

Note:I also got hit, but it's no big deal. Just like the system said, it's only a simulation, so I can't die.

"Congratulations, host. You have successfully completed the Spider-Sense enhancement simulation," announced the AI System.

Feeling a sense of accomplishment, I grinned from ear to ear, knowing that I had taken another step towards mastering my abilities as Spider-Man. With my enhanced Spider-Sense and all the new stuff I learned, I felt ready to handle whatever came my way.
