My First Day Having Powers

When I just woke that next day, my body feels so light for some reason. As I was stretching, my arms can be stretched easily. I can move hips and reached the end of my toes without even pushing myself to reach it.
This never happened before. I feel like my body has returned to what is was before like in my childhood.
If you put it on comparison, I feel like a feather being carried by even the weakest of winds. Does the light has something to do with it? Not that I am complain, though quite grateful on it.
Did that shawarma vendor lied to me? Maybe he just lied that he can't see that ball of light landed on that shawarma? But no. Clearly, he's quite confused on where I am pointing at. And laughing thinking i am joking to him.
Well that should be leave out for now. That can be learned later on.
I prepared myself to go to work. To begin, we need to have a first impression and that is. Going there early. However because its 7:00 in the morning when I got to the company, my first impressions are ruined.
I can do that again tomorrow, trust me! Now then I began to enter the company. As I pushed the glass door, what greeted me was all employees running left and right.
Its not even Monday yet, why are they like that?
Oh right! How could I forgotten? The CEO wants to meet me. Before I fell asleep, I recieved a call from a person claiming to be the CEO's Secretary that his boss want to meet me.
An ordinary rookie dares to meet the CEO when he even has his first day. Its ridiculous really.
So I asked the one of the employees here where is the CEO's office. And thankfully, she gave me the direction. And she even commented.
"Didn't the Secretary told you the directions of Boss's Office? Well I give you a thumbs up for making the boss setting his eyes on you." She bowed and left.
Woah there woman! I am curious of why he did that. I hope he won't fire me. I haven't even started yet.
So when I reached the office, the secretary greeted me and said.
"I apologized on not telling you where is the office. I was about to look for you but its seems your are fine. The Boss is there waiting for you."
He said and left. Okay what's up with talking to me and leave like that?
I knocked on the door and a male voice said come in.
I entered the office and what greeted me was a man looks to be the same age as I and looking at me grinning.
"Hehe, I was right that you look familiar. You're Shaw?" He asked.
"Yes, That is my name. May I know why you called me?" I asked him.
"Its me,Brix! Your highschool bestfriend!" He stood up and suddenly hugged me.
"Hands off Dude!" I said creeped out. Is he really my bestfriend in high school?
"Never knew we would meet like this. Also aren't you proud of what your friend accomplished?" He nudge me using his elbow.
Who would'nt though out of one of my friends in high school, Brix Fauston is my boss today.
"How's life Shaw? Did anything good happened?"
"Well seeing you again is one of the only good things happened to me. Can't find any jobs that could accept me."
Brix patted my shoulder.
"Its okay dude. You got this and me too." He reffered to himself. And we spend one day talking about our lives. Mostly Brix but that is all. Hope he could help me tomorrow what i can do right there and here.
I went home and open the door. Placed my jacket on the hang stands,shoes on shelf, and went straight to the kitchen. Checking my fridge on what to cook.
"Chicken sounds good for dinner today." I muttered to myself and began cooking.
Cutting the chicken in 6 pieces and placed it on simmering hot water. Cutting onions,garlic and parsley. Adding soy sauce and sugar on to it. And waited for 2 hours.
And after that,
Time to eat!
