Amamiya Junichiro here, after jumping to my death from a 37-storey building, I had been reborn, not in a fantasy world of swords and magic, no siree, I also wasn't reborn as a girl or anything like that. I was reborn in my own body, like time travel.

"He's not crying?"

"Oh no, is he alright?"

Inside this hospital, I'm being cuddled by two adults, in case you're wondering, they're my parents.

"Junichiro."

"Yes dear, I like the sound of that. Junichiro amamiya."

After that, we got discharged from the hospital shortly. So far, my life was playing out like it did originally,

"Although, his white hair seems a bit... Odd."

Well, albeit with a few exceptions, namely;

My pure white hair and silver eyes.

Oh man, I can already picture my future, I'm gonna be quite a looker, aren't I?

But still, sucking on my mom's boobs, kinda makes me feel bad.

Looking at them, it's amazing how they're making babies at such a young age. My dad's 27, and my mom's 25. Mentally, I'm older than both of them. I can't believe they've been getting frisky at such a young age.

My dad picked me up from my mom and cradled me in his arms.

"Junichiro Amamiya."

"You've been saying it for a while now."

"I can't help it, he's just so cute."

Cute?!

"I know, he's going to be quite a looker, isn't he? Although, I'd prefer you call him handsome."

See, she gets it. Handsome, not cute.

"Jun-chan."

I can't remember the last time someone addressed me with the honorific. Man, my life up till now really sucked, didn't it?

At least now I've got a second chance, I'm going to make full use of it.

My life was continuing like it did in my previous life, but if it did, then that means...

Three months after my birth, the strangest thing happened. Mom was frying fish in a pan with her right hand, while carrying me with her left. Suddenly, maybe because it became too hot, the fish burst. In the split second before the oil flew. Something happened. She dropped me, and covered her face with her left hand.

In the few moments before I hit the ground, my eyes widened in shock.

She threw me, she threw me? She friggin threw me!

After that, I woke up in the hospital. My dad was comforting my mom as she cried.

"I don't know what happened, I put him on the couch, and when I came back, he was on the floor crying."

Huh? She put me on the couch?!

We were discharged shortly after, but I'd become wary of her.

Years passed by, but I never forgot about that incident.

Then when I turned 4, I began to notice changes in the house. My dad wouldn't come until late at night, and my parents barely spoke to each other.

When I enrolled at a nearby elementary school, I began to see the dark side of my mom. At school, she wanted me to be the best. Not good, the best. She wanted me to get the best grades in every subject and turned vitriolic if I didn't bring home the best grade. She called me a disappointment. If she was saying those words to the 29 year old Junichiro, I would only laugh, but she was saying them to her 4 year old son. I was really good at math, but she didn't care. Whenever I got a good grade in math she'd say:

"Whatever, I know you are good at that. How did the English test go instead?" Of course, I sucked at English, and she kept on repeating that English was more useful, and how sorry she was that I wasn't gifted like her. She kept on comparing me to other people's kids sighing:

"Oh, I wish they were my children…"

One day, I got sick of it, I decided to speak up, but I witnessed the first of countless rages of my mother. I don't remember what had triggered the outburst, but I remember my 4-year-old self staring at her, terrified to move or speak as she pinched my thighs with her nails and yelled at me.

"Don't talk while mother's speaking."

Over the years, through my childhood, I endured hours-long lectures with frequent periods of pinching that my thighs were always black and blue or cracked and bleeding. All at the slightest provocation. Bed not made in the morning earned me at least a half hour long rant.

My dad was almost never home, only coming back at late night, and leaving for work as early as 6 o'clock in the morning. He worked all through the week, and stayed home on weekends. I don't know when, but the lighthearted, silly, happy man I once knew, became a heavy alcoholic. He now has dark circles under his eyes. He almost never spoke to me, always sitting on the couch watching TV as he sipped his can of beer, eventually he began to smoke. I couldn't blame him though, life is hard. Adulthood isn't all sunshine and rainbows, trust me I would know. My dad has to shoulder the expenses of a family, with my mom being a housewife. When he'd discuss with my mom about her getting a job, she'd throw a fit, saying she couldn't, none of her friends worked, their husbands took care of them, and my dad would end the discussion there. Then at 6 years old, my mom began to leave the house, shortly after my dad left. She'd dress up fashionably, do her makeup, even put lipstick on. She'd come back at night, just a few minutes before my dad arrived. After school, I'd come back to an empty home, not house, home. That's right, empty home. My dad left for work by six, when I came home, I wouldn't meet anyone. My after-school meal was usually a boxed lunch kept in the microwave. My dad left the house by 6, I left home by 7, and mom, by 8 o'clock. I wouldn't see any of them until the next day. That was when I realized my parents never really cared about me. I know it's weird to admit, but I felt lonely. I had friends at school, but it's not like some kids in elementary school can relate to my problems.

In response to my harsh childhood, I grew a shell. I grew isolated and detached from reality. At this point, I was already in the final years of elementary school, and that was when it happened.

When I came back from the park late, I found my dad at home. He was shocked to find the house empty.

"Junichiro, where's your mom?"

"I dunno, she's not home, she leaves everyday, so I thought you'd know."

"Really?"

"yeah."

That night, when I went to bed, I could hear them arguing, but I pretended I was asleep, I'd rather avoid getting mixed up in adult conversations. I was given a second chance, so I wanted to enjoy my childhood while it lasted.

The next morning, my dad left for work, and I was prepping for school as usual. I'd finished taking a bath, and doing chores, so i headed over to the dining room for breakfast.

" mom, what's for breakf- "

Before I could finish my sentence, a bottle came hurling at me. It was too late for me to dodge and it landed straight at on my head. I felt a cold sensation as blood and alcohol trickled down my face.

She did, it didn't she? she just threw a bottle at me.

"It was you, wasn't it?"

"Huh?"

Did I miss something?

"Don't try to deny it, I know you told him."

Told him what? She was acting paranoid, her eyes were bloodshot, coupled with her disheveled hair, and reeked of alcohol. Although she just threw a bottle at me, I was starting to feel sorry for her. When I saw the mess she was, I looked at her with pity.

"You! Don't look at me like that!" she barked.

That was where it died. What little sympathy or any human emotion I felt toward her, that was where it died. I left the house that day without having breakfast. School was the only place where I could find release from the abusive bitch. At this point, I didn't even consider her my mother anymore.

After school ended, I walked straight home. I planned on avoiding another incident like yesterday, and I was also hungry. I wanted to get home quickly, but on my way home, I saw the most unusual thing. As I passed an alley, I saw two people making out. Of course, that wasn't what was unusual. A lot of people took out their pent up sexual frustrations out in the open. What was unusual, was the people who were making out. The man was tall, and had short blonde hair and blue eyes. He was a friend of dad, I think his name was Leroy. I heard his parents were american, and the rich type too. The woman was of average height, petite, dressed in an ostentatious red gown. She had bright brown hair, and brown eyes. She was my...

"Mom?"

When she heard those words, she fidgeted, before freezing from shock.

"Um, honey, this isn't what it looks like."

Honey? That's a name I don't hear often.

"Really?"

"Yeah."

"So what does it look like?"

"You see, he was just leaving, so I wanted to give him a goodbye kiss."

"On the lips?"

"Yeah. You wouldn't understand, it's an adult only thing."

"Really?"

"Yes. And please don't tell you're dad about this."

"Aha, I get it now."

When she heard those words, the tension faded off her face.

"So you understand, right?" the man asked.

"Yeah."

The look in my eyes charged, and I replied to her question.

"Yes, you both think I'm an idiot."

Their faces grew pail once more.

"What do you mean?"

"A hundred thousand."

"What do you mean?"

"You asked me to stay quiet about you love life with Leroy-san, right?"

"Y-yes."

A mischievous grin spread across my face, as I looked at them straight in the eyes.

"So I'm telling you, that my silence is going to come at a price. A hundred thousand yen. I don't care how the both of you are gonna cough it up, but I want it by the end of the month."

"Wait a second, you can be serious, you don't even have an account. Why don't I get you some shaved ice and we'll call it even. Oh, I know, why don't I just buy you pudding?"

I did the most unusual thing, it was the first time I raised my voice to my mom.

"Are you brain-dead or something?! quit screwing around you fucking slut."

Honestly, you make me sick to my stomach.

"Huh?"

"A hundred thousand yen, or I'll tell dad. Today's the 5th of July, so you've got twenty six days to cough up the money." I said, then I walked away before they could even reply. My parent's marriage was falling apart, and from my prediction, they would probably divorce in the next few months, and where does that leave me? I didn't get reborn just so I could live a life of misery all over again. You might wonder why I wasn't making an effort to save their marriage, well that was because I didn't give a damn. I was 29 when I died, coupled with how long I've lived in my second life, I'm 39. I wasn't a virgin when I died, I'd had my own fair share of relationships, and trust me, women are pretty vile creatures.

I didn't really expect my mom, and her boyfriend to cough up the money, but surprisingly, they did. In all honesty, I just wanted to see the look of despair on her face. I wanted her to feel even a fraction of the pain I'd been through. I wanted her to feel the darkness.

By the month's end, we met at a cafe. Me, mom, and her boyfriend.

They thought I hadn't thought my plan through, but boy, could you believe the look on their faces when I gave them a crypto currency wallet. I figured I couldn't get a bank account since I was underage, but what about a wallet. It only required an email, and a password. I converted the 100,000¥ to crypto assets.

Months passed, and I never snitched on mom, no Kikuko. That bitch didn't deserve to be called my mother. Recently, she'd been kinder to me at home, but that was only because she didn't want to get on my bad side. Then a month later, I caught my dad out with a lady. They just came out of a love hotel. apparently, he'd just had a very passionate afternoon. He froze when he saw me.

"So how was it? Did it feel good?" I asked with a grin.

"Err..."

"I know, keep I'll keep it a secret."

"Really? Thanks son, you're a man after all, so I know you'll understand. So, do you have any girls you like?" he said with a look of relief, seriously, did he have any shame? You're son just found out you were having sex with a woman apart from your wife.

"It'll cost you."

"Huh?"

"If you've got money to be spending on whores, then surely you can spend on your son, right?"

"Of course, so how much. Five hundred, or maybe one thousand yen?"

The look on my face contorted, and I said:

"Don't fuck with me. A hundred thousand yen."

And surprisingly enough, he managed to cough it up. If I'd known blackmailing one's parents would be this easy, I would have asked for more.

I was happy wallowing in the cash I got from my parents, but the good times didn't last forever.

The jig was up. Dad was the first to find out. I didn't snitch, this was even worse. He caught them having sex. He came back from work early, and decided to pick me up from school. We went to a convenience store where we my dad bought a bottle of wine, and some ice cream for me, then we walked home together. He planned on spending some time with his family for a change.

Upon reaching out destination, we heard moaning. It wasn't the type you'd make when you were in pain. It was the opposite. They were moans of pleasure, and the voice was all too familiar. It was the voice of my mom. When dad opened the door, we found my mom being banged from behind by...

"Leroy!! You bastard!!" my dad said, throwing the bottle of wine directly at Leroy.

Fuck, things were getting pretty hectic, weren't they?

Mom hurriedly covered up, while my dad began raining punches on Leroy. It was kinda funny to watch. Here was dad, who was guilty of the same offence, getting angry. Leroy wasn't a whimp either, It wasn't long before he turned the tables on dad. Both men engaged in a violent brawl, until mom broke them up.

"Please stop."

"Shut up you bitch!" he said punching her.

Bitch? Ha, ha-ha-ha-ha. Don't make me laugh. If she's a bitch, then what does that make you? A bastard?

I crouched down and began to pick up the shards of the bottle, then my mom started mumbling.

"This... This isn't what you promised, you told him, didn't you?"

My dad who has stopped fighting with Leroy, grabbed me by the neck with both hands, and lifted me off my feet and began strangling me.

"Did you know about this?!!"

The moment he grabbed me, the shards of glass fell from my hands, except for one.

His face was so close, and he reeked of alcohol. When our gazes met, I saw how bloodshot his eyes were.

"Huh?!! Did you?!!"

Fuck, I can't breath.

A few jumbled words managed to escapey lips.

"Can't... Eath."

"Are you mocking me?!! Huh?!!"

You idiot, I'm not mocking you, just let me go.

But he didn't, he continued squeezing harder. I began to scratch at him with my left hand violently, but he didn't stop. Seconds turned into minutes, but he wasn't letting go.

My head began to hurt, it felt like something was swelling up inside it. My chest also hurt. I couldn't breathe, my eyes were growing dim.

Fuck, I can't believe the last thing I'm going to see is Leroy's junk.

Is this where it all ends for me? Is this how I die? Is this game over?

Like hell it is!

I may have got a second chance at life, but who knows what'll happen this time. I didn't come this far just so I could die now. I just couldn't let that happen. The man in front of me was my father, but if he planned on taking my life, then I'd kill him first.

With the last bit of strength I could muster, I lifted my hand up, and sunk the shard of glass into his neck. After that, he let go. My vision slowly began to return to normal, but I wish it hadn't. The next thing I saw, was a thick crimson color. It was all over the place. I was bathed in a a sea of deep crimson. It was warm, and sticky. It was blood. I'd stabbed my father in the neck, and he was bleeding profusely.

He was dying.

When he let go of me. All I did was stand and watch him bleed, I didn't run, I didn't scream. I just watched as he slowly bled to death.

"Quick call 119." Kikuko said.

Leroy hurriedly dialed the number, but in the few minutes before an ambulance arrived, my father, Hideo Amamiya, died.
