Hero Court

Deku's POV

My alarm went off and I groaned a little before turning it off. I have an early shift today. I turn over, the soft moonlight streaming from the window illuminating Kacchan's still sleeping form, peaceful, I give a small smile. I reach over and give him a small kiss on the cheek before getting up to leave.

We had been assigned to a big city temporarily because of unusual villain activity and we're helping a local hero agency so we have been staying in a small apartment and it looks like we will be staying for another month at least.

I quickly make some breakfast, covering Kacchan's portion before eating my own. Once I have my suit on and ready to go, I leave my face mask off before returning to the bedroom.

Kacchan is still sleeping but now he has rolled over to my side of the bed. I quietly walk over and give him another kiss, this time letting him wake up a little bit. "I'm going to work now, I'll see you soon," I whispered and he slowly blinked up at me before nodding slowly, he stretched a little bit and gave me a real kiss on the lips.

"See you soon, Nerd," he smiled sleepily and added, "Kick some ass." I giggled a little before kissing him again and walking out of the room, I put my facemask around my neck and my red shoes on before walking out into the hall, locking our door behind me.

Sometimes like now there will be people out in the halls, either coming home from work or, like me, going to work. Most of them have gotten used to the fact that Japan's number 1 and 2 heroes were staying here but it was pretty common knowledge that our apartment was a three bedroom so most never thought much of us staying together. The fact that we were married was also unknown and I don't really understand why that is. We certainly don't hide our relationship, we often have lunch together during work hours and we go out on dates during our off time.

I shake the thought out of my head, I run into headquarters and clock in getting my assigned area for the week, knowing that even though Kacchan and I won't be in the same area that he will still be close enough for us to have lunch together.

But as usual with a new area I need to scout around and get comfortable. I run off and climb the roofs of the low buildings and run around, getting a feel for the area. Once I'm comfortable I take a short break and send a text to the hero who is supposed to be my partner for the day telling him or her where I am.

The name I was given was, Dragon. I looked up their information to find that their quirk was pretty straight forward, he can breath fire, just like my dad ironically enough. The thought stopped me in my tracks, and I looked up into the sky. The lights from the city coupled with the first rays of the early sun made it impossible to see the stars.

"I wonder if I made you proud, wherever you are," I whispered but I heard a cough behind me and I just let out a sigh. Unlike what most people thought, my dad didn't leave because I was quirkless. No, he left when I was three because he found another lover, which makes him an ass but Mom didn't hold it against him. As a result my dad and I don't really have any kind of relationship, not even a bad one. I think that they were only together at all because of me and that hurts. Mom never really took an interest in anyone after him, not even All Might, she turned him down whenever he tried to ask her out on a date but he still hasn't given up on her yet.

Maybe my dad just broke her trust in men? I mean she loves me but when Kacchan and I got married I very clearly heard her threaten to dismember him alive if he ever cheated on me. I was talking with All Might a little ways away and I think that is why he hasn't given up on her yet.

I stand up from my perch and turn to see a boy around my age, maybe a year or two younger? He had white hair and brown eyes. He was thin but he had enough muscle to get by. We introduced ourselves and he was very clearly a fan. Making me a bit uncomfortable.

"It's so amazing to finally be able to meet you after all this time!" He chattered away but I brushed it off with a simple thank you. We finally got around to the business end of things and I corrected some small mistakes that he made as we patrolled the area but time went by as we stopped some petty crime and it was now time for lunch.

"So there is a great diner near here," Dragon was chatting comfortably by now and I looked at my phone to see an address and smiled.

"Looks like I already have plans," I couldn't hold back my smile before giving him a wave and running off in the direction of the address Kacchan sent me. On early days like today, I take my lunch late just so that I can eat with Kacchan.

I walked into a small diner to see him already sitting at a booth and the waitress was just setting down the food.

"Looks like I'm right on time," I smile as I walk up and the girl almost drops some oven baked chicken when she sees me, Kacchan steadied her tray as if he was expecting it.

"About time, I was starting to think the food was going to be cold before you got here," Kacchan smirked back at me. The girl quickly left, after apologizing a lot. Kacchan moved a couple plates around and we started eating. We talked about work mostly, anything from the villains to the heroes we were assessing and giving pointers to.

"I got some extra called, Kirby, gives Round Face a run for her fucking money," Kacchan groaned. "She won't stop asking if I'm free for this or that and it's getting on my fucking nerves. Why would I want to spend time with her off the clock when I can't stand her on the clock?"

I laughed, what can I say? Kacchan doesn't care for most anyone and much less for fangirls. I can already imagine how his day has been going. I started telling him about the guy I had.

"His name is Dragon, he breathes fire. Remind you of anyone?" I asked, forcing a smile and Kacchan winced.

"How in the fuck did you get an extra with the cheating bastard's quirk? He's not the old man is he?" Kacchan was trying to be careful with what he said but I just shook my head no.

"His profile shows that he is a little less than a year younger than I am but it is making it difficult to keep my mind on the job," I let out a sigh. It wouldn't be an exaggeration to say his quirk was just a much stronger version of my father's. "I would be lying if I said I wasn't thinking the same thing you are," I nodded my head in agreement. Kacchan's face was not hiding anything, at least not from me. He's wondering if 'Dragon' is my brother or not. "It's possible, the time frame matches up but apparently he is a fan of mine which I find unlikely if that were truly the case. At least if he knows about it that is."

The reason for my parent's divorce, my father had gotten someone else pregnant and my mom found out while she was pregnant with me.

Kacchan was grimacing but he spoke up anyway, "Want to trade? I'm sure it can be arranged. Some bullshit excuse like giving them the opportunity to work with both of us or something?" I know that he hates even offering. For one thing we would have to start doing it everyday or their hero agency would know right away that one of us couldn't stand one of the local heroes and called it quits. Kacchan can barely tolerate one new person a day and only because around lunch time they tended to learn enough not to set him off. The idea of starting all over at lunch? That has to be torture for him.

"No, I'll be okay most of the day is over already anyway," I smiled finishing my meal and just taking a long drink of my tea. The waitress came over and quickly took away the empty dishes, now having a hold over her emotions compared to when I first arrived. I heard the door open and out of habit looked up to see the person we were just talking about; Dragon. I let out a groan and Kacchan looked up following my line of sight.

"Damn, the fucker even looks like the cheating bastard," he sounded surprised and I couldn't help nodding in agreement. Dragon barely looked around and saw us before he came rushing over, excited.

"Deku! I stopped a purse snatcher without setting anything on fire at all!" He was so excited that he didn't notice Kacchan's jaw drop. The reason was simple, Dragon even sounded like my father.

"Oh hell no," Kacchan pulled out his phone and I just took it before he could call headquarters.

"It's fine, like I said the day is almost over," I haven't seen my dad since I was three and there is one picture of him with his eyes closed, left and only so that I knew what he looked like. Mom burned all the rest. Having said that, he still calls on my birthday and Christmas every year and Kacchan has been there almost every time since he left. Even during the time Kacchan bullied me, his mom would drag him over on my birthday and our families would spend Christmas together.

"Oh! You're Dynamight! I've heard so much about you too," Dragon started praising my husband and Kacchan just looked at me with pity in his eyes.

"Nerd, I'm going to ask," he warned me and I just shook my head no. "I'm going to ask," he repeated, he wants to know but he is giving me a chance to leave before he does. Lunch was going to end soon enough as it was and I didn't want to leave any earlier than I had to so I just nodded.

"Oi, who's your old man?" Kacchan didn't even try to hide what he was talking about and Dragon looked startled for a moment before smiling.

"My dad's name is Shiro, Hisashi. I've never heard of Dynamight taking an interest in new heroes before! Here I have a picture of him," he pulled out his phone and showed it to Kacchan and before he put it away he showed the screen to me as well. Fuck. It's him.

"Okay Kacchan, I can't do it. Let's trade," I asked and before I even stood up all the way he sent me his area for the day and I sent him mine in response. He kept Dragon, my little brother, back.

I messaged Kirby and we met up, she was a sweet girl and super excited about meeting me. "I was told that we couldn't work with our personal heroes, I'm so happy that isn't the case."

"Usually that's true but something came up, besides Dragon was apparently a fan of mine too so it doesn't really matter anyway." I answered while we patrolled the area.

"You probably don't remember but you rescued me from a burning building when I was 13, it's what made me want to become a hero in the first place," she was practically bouncing with joy but unlike Dragon she remained focused on her work. This is so much better. The day was coming to an end and I had to meet Kacchan again to drop Kirby off with him since they still had another two hours left for the day.

"Italian?" I asked and Kacchan smiled before nodding.

"Get what I need and I'll make it when I get back," he seemed much more relaxed as well. I guess Dragon finally shut the hell up after being with my husband for a little bit.

"Right, right. I'll do the shopping so you don't have to deal with anymore people," I smiled, completely ignoring Dragon who was standing silently close by. I waved to my lover and made my way to the local hero agency to fill out the last of the paperwork.

I ran home and changed before going out to get the groceries for tonight. Kacchan had sent me the ingredients that he needed and I made sure to grab a couple reusable grocery bags on my way out the door. The local stores were nice and when I'm not in my suit things always tend to be calmer with the public. I was just picking out the onions and garlic when Kacchan arrived, still in his suit.

"Get everything?" He asked as if he couldn't see that everything was going just fine for himself. He could see that all eyes were on us now that he arrived, his hero suit like a glowing beacon for anyone and everyone.

"Almost, I just have the peppers left," I smiled. I know he didn't put peppers on the list but I also know that he prefers spicy Italian versus not. It looks like a fancy version of spaghetti but he didn't stop me from picking out some jalapenos to go with dinner. For some reason I am craving the sting of the spice tonight.

"You okay?" He asked when we were making our way to check out and I just shook my head. I'm not okay. Sure, he didn't leave because of me but that doesn't mean it's okay that he has almost completely ignored me since he left either. I would be surprised if he even knew the fact that I am the pro hero Deku. That's how little interest he had in me all this time.

Kacchan nodded but kept silent. Walking with me now that his shift was over. I couldn't stand the silence so I started talking about work. "I can't wait to go home. Mom, Aunty and Uncle must miss us too."

"Ha! I'm sure they miss you golden boy, they are probably counting their lucky stars to be rid of me for a while," to anyone else it would probably sound like he was pissed but I could hear the humor in his words. He loved them just as much as I do and they love him just as much as they do me, he isn't even slightly worried about that.

We made our way back to the apartment, each carrying a bag, our multiple neighbor's trying to overhear what we were talking about only to be disappointed when they realized that we were talking about our parents. It was common knowledge that we grew up together and I've seen multiple articles stating that we were most likely cousins, before. Then again I do call his parents aunt and uncle and he calls my mom, Aunty even after being married for the last five years.

We closed and locked the door behind us and I took the groceries from Kacchan and started washing them while he took a quick shower. I had everything ready, cutting board, knives, pots and pans out, just the way he liked them when he came back in and I went and took a shower.

When I walked out in sweat pants and a t-shirt, my hair was still drying. I could already smell the delicious mix of spices, meat and tomatoes in the air. I was just about to walk into the kitchen when the doorbell rang.

"I got it," I called out and heard Kacchan acknowledge me from the kitchen. When I opened the door I was not expecting to see Dragon and my dad standing on the other side.

"Izuku-?" My father looked shocked to see me but I'm not dealing with this. Without overthinking things I slammed the door shut and relocked it. Nope, they can stand there all night if they want to. I'm not letting them in.

I walked into the kitchen and Kacchan looked up, already making the bowls of salad to go with our dinner, "Who was it?" He didn't sound too interested and kept grating parmesan the way I like on our salads.

"Dragon and my father," I answered, getting out the cutlery and Kacchan almost dropped the grater at my answer.

"Why in the fuck are they here?" He sounded just as shocked as I felt.

"No idea, my father said my name and I slammed the door in their faces," I shrugged and Kacchan put the grater down and pulled me into a hug. He didn't say anything, there wasn't anything he could say. I enjoyed the hug and after a few moments we parted to sit down for dinner.

After we ate and cleaned up we sat on the couch watching the news. For once I was sitting in Kacchan's lap, something I haven't done since highschool when we shared the common room with our class. Kacchan likes to lay his head in my lap or he'll even cuddle around me to fall asleep if I'm staying up to watch a movie but today I needed to feel his arms around me and he was more than ready to give it to me. He had brought an All Might blanket out and I was snuggled into his arms and he had the blanket wrapped around us almost as soon as we were seated.

We were watching some animated film about dancing penguins when the doorbell rang again. I flinched at the sound but Kacchan just kissed my temple and set me down next to him, not bothering to ask what he already knew.

He answered the door and I heard him cursing my father out from where I was. I pretended not to hear what he was saying, focusing my eyes on the movie but there was no way I couldn't hear them.

"Why in the fuck are you here, Cheating Bastard?" Kacchan was loud but not loud enough to get a noise complaint. Probably loud enough for our neighbors to hear though.

"Katsuki, it's been a long time." Sperm Donor.

"Not long enough! Do you have any idea what Aunty has put me through because of you?" Kacchan.

"Why would Inko do anything to you because of me?" Deadbeat.

"None of your damned business. Why in the fuck are you here?" Kacchan.

"I just couldn't believe that Ryoto had actually met Izuku. He didn't say anything about meeting you too Katsuki," Waste of Space.

"Keep Deku's name out of your fucking mouth! You don't deserve to say it," Kacchan set off an explosion. I can already hear the complaints we will end up getting because of this. I pulled out my phone and started drafting a message to headquarters about needing to move because someone who shouldn't, found out where we were living.

"Katsuki, he is my son," I broke my phone hearing that.

"I don't remember you caring about that when you left when we were three," Kacchan's voice sounded deadly. I picked up Kacchan's phone and instead dialed headquarters for them to send someone to remove the man from our building.

"Katsuki, most people don't remember much from when they are three," Bastard.

"Izuku please know that this isn't easy. Your mother and I just weren't meant to be, that does not make it your fault," Kacchan started reciting from memory what the man had told me, in front of Kacchan, the day he left.

"How did you-"

"Because I was standing right next to him when you made your little speech! You didn't even have the decency to talk to him privately!" Kacchan screamed at him. "Leave, you're not welcome here!"

"Hello is this number 304, listed under the Hero Association?" I heard a woman's voice chime in and I felt myself relax when Kacchan answered her.

"Are these two the unwanted persons?" She asked just as happily and I heard Kacchan agree and she thanked him and told him he could go back inside now.

"Wait just a minute, who are you?" The bastard demanded, not at all happy with this turn of events.

"I work security for the hero association, my team and I are called when a hero is being harassed and arguing at their apartment door would be covered under that. Dragon, I must say that I am very disappointed in you. The heroes Dynamight and Deku have only been placed here temporarily and if they continue to be harassed then they will be released from this mission and sent back home," The woman answered and Kacchan closed the door, cutting off their responses.

He came back and took one look at my phone and picked up his ordering a new phone through headquarters and under the reason he placed, 'harassment from local citizens', I didn't bother to correct him because it wasn't entirely wrong.

He sat down next to me and I cuddled up to him again pulling the cover over him as well. I saw him text Mom and tell her that my phone broke and that I would get a new one tomorrow, thankfully he didn't say anything about my sperm donor or she would have called and I would have had to listen to at least an hour of ranting from her. I really don't need that. Not to mention the tears that would have come once she found out that he brought his 'other' son with him. You know, the one that actually matters.

I shudder at the thought but we watched our silly movie in peace and before long it was time for bed. Kacchan didn't bother to say anything and instead picked me up and carried me to bed, my eyes already fighting sleep, I didn't fight him. I closed my eyes and I knew I was out before he even left the room.

***

I wake up to my alarm going off again and I turn it off, dragging myself out of bed. I was probably up for too long last night but oh well. I turned to see Kacchan still holding me in his sleep and I gave him a kiss on the forehead. I really can't help loving him.

Even when I just shut down he just picks everything up for me and lets me process it all. I quickly go through my morning routine, breakfast, covering a plate for Kacchan, getting dressed, kissing him goodbye and telling him I love him, putting my mask around my neck and I leave, locking the door behind me. It didn't escape my notice that Dragon and my father were being held back by the elevator by security sent from headquarters.

Looks like they wouldn't leave last night. I see a woman in a suit who bowed respectfully before approaching me. "I'm sorry that we can't forcefully remove them from the building but I hope that we were able to let you rest peacefully all the same."

"Thank you," I smiled and she was very happy with just that.

"They insisted that they were family so I was unable to remove them from the floor but I was able to prevent them from knocking on your door again." I frowned at her words and I turned my head to see the cheating ex-husband of my mother.

"I don't have a father, nor any siblings," I glared at them and she nodded. I can already see that she understands exactly what I meant but didn't push me for an explanation. "I need to get to my patrol this morning, is there anything that you need from me before I go?"

"No Mr. Deku, it's an honor to have worked for you," She bowed again and I made my way to the elevator and the people in suits prevented either the father or son from approaching me, but they couldn't stop them from talking.

"I am your father Izuku! How could you do this to me?" Cheating Bastard.

"Deku is really my brother?" Dragon.

"I don't have a father, my mother's cheating ex-husband is not a concern of mine and I certainly don't have any siblings," I repeated before stepping into the elevator and pushing the button for the ground floor. The woman entered with me and I just nodded before the doors closed.

When we were at the front door I heard her radio the other security officers and I waited until she was done.

"We'll pack our things tonight, I believe that we will be forced to move and I would like to know how they found out where I was staying in the first place," I told her and she nodded in agreement. I have a sneaking suspicion that Dragon got the information from headquarters and that won't sit well on his record.

"I'll have everything finalized tomorrow morning and while you are both on patrol we will move your things to a new apartment building, we will take your keys as you leave and we won't start until after Dynamight leaves for his patrol," she agreed and had me sign off on a tablet stating that that was what I actually wanted. Too bad, I liked this neighborhood.

Work was fine, and it apparently didn't take any time at all to find out that I was avoiding Dragon, and the fact that I even called security from headquarters was huge gossip at the agency. Unlike most heroes, if I was able to reason with people I took the time to do so. But I'm not dealing with my sperm donor. I'm not dealing with any of this.

I was able to pick up a new phone when I clocked in and I downloaded all the backed up data from my previous phone on my way. The hero that was shadowing me today was a kid barely out of highschool, and he is a fan.

"No questions about yesterday," I warned and he nodded before he started asking the normal fanboy questions. He worked hard and listened well so I didn't mind answering most of them. Most of them were already on my hero profile anyway. His quirk was a simple one, he is fast. Not as fast as Iida but still fast.

The day went quickly and Kacchan sent me another address for lunch, it was one that we have been to before but not the diner from yesterday. I arrived to find sushi and a few other seafood dishes and smiled at Kacchan as I sat down.

"Better eat well, I'm not cooking tonight considering we are moving. How about ordering a pizza?" He smirked at me and I smiled nodding at him. We are off for the next two days so that will make moving easier, thankfully we don't have too many things here considering this was just a temporary place anyway. Still, it was nice and quiet, even with all the neighbors.

The day ended far too early and I just went straight home with a bundle of boxes and ignored my father who was either still standing there or had returned before I had. Security kept him from reaching me.

"You know," I said out loud as if I was talking to one of the security guys who perked up instantly. "Growing up I didn't really have a father figure, not until I was in highschool. Then I managed to somehow get three, All Might, Eraserhead and Present Mic, although the pro hero Present Mic was more like a second mom most of the time." I laughed and my sperm donor froze at my words but the man I was turned to shook his head in amazement.

"No wonder you are such an amazing hero, to have such great heros looking after you must have been an honor," he answered as if I had actually been talking to him.

"It really was, Eraserhead and Present Mic were nicknamed the class Dad and Mom and All Might was my personal mentor, mine and of course Dynamight's as well," I smiled happily. "I actually met All Might before highschool, don't worry this is all public information, anyway he started training me so that I could take the U.A. entrance exam, he really was a great mentor. Of course once I graduated high school my mom kept declining his dinner invitations. She doesn't trust men anymore, excluding myself of course. Cheating husbands do that I guess."

"Poor woman, to have someone do that to her is disgraceful," he answered sympathetically, nodding in agreement. "To even turn down the symbol of peace? Her ex-husband must have been a real piece of work." I agreed before thanking him for their hard work and unlocked my door. My father is now silent. Guess he didn't know all of that.

When I gave my key to security the next day it didn't escape my notice that the deadbeat was nowhere to be found. I let out a sigh of relief and like yesterday the woman rode the elevator down, walking me out, and still no sign of him.

"Was he that bad?" She asked quietly, pretending to look through documents.

"Only if you think forgetting you exist is bad," I answered and she let out a long sigh.

"I'm only sorry you've had to deal with this in our city, you've helped us so much in the last several months." She bowed again and I left for work. From the looks of it Headquarters decided that we are done here, and instead of moving our things to a new apartment they will be driving it all back home for us and after work today we will be taking a flight back home. This being the reason I have a bag with me with a single change of clothes.

Dear God, we are ready too. When we got the call last night right as I was about to go to bed we started cheering. It's been more than a few days since we've been intimate thanks to everything and Kacchan was more than happy to stay up with me last night after that blissful phone call.

Needless to say the hero with me today will be the last one I let shadow me for a while. Her name is Aqua, her quirk is a high powered water gun and she is particularly helpful during fires. I didn't even try to shake her off when I met Kacchan for lunch and she was sad to hear we were leaving.

"I thought you two were supposed to stay for a couple more months?" She sounded pitiful but thankfully Kacchan doesn't care.

"Isn't it great? We can finally go home and see our family and friends, move into our home finally and kiss this nasty memory goodbye," Kacchan smiled at me before adding. "We'll finally be able to actually grow our family." He stretched out a hand on the opposite side of the table from Aqua to hold mine, not that she noticed or anything.

"Grow your family? I didn't know you two were already married!" She squeaked and I couldn't help looking at her funny.

I shrugged before saying, "Most people don't believe us. It's been five years now."

"Five years? But I thought you two were only 24?" She was sucking in every drop of information that she could and I just don't care.

"Five beautiful years with the cutest man there is," Kacchan winked at me and I couldn't help the blush.

"Wait, YOU'RE GAY?" She started hyperventilating and I had to ask her if she was okay.

"Who are you married to?" She begged Kacchan and he looked at her funny before holding his hand up and showing that we were holding hands. "Each other?" She was barely audible but she wasn't disgusted, which we have had a few of those in the past.

"So many people tell me that as a woman I can only expect to be a hero for so long because I am supposed to have children and can I just say that you two are now my personal heroes?"

"Because we are married?" I was confused.

"Because you're planning on growing your family even though you're both heroes," She was looking at us with sparkling eyes and Kacchan just laughed at the silliness of it all.

"Still, flying right after our patrol is kind of cruel of them to do to us," I groaned, squeezing Kacchan's hand a little.

"Want to take the fun way instead? We'll be completely exhausted by the time we get home but..." Kacchan offered giving me a look. Do I want to use our quirks instead of riding a two hour flight home?

"Suddenly the plane doesn't sound so bad," I answered, looking away only for Kacchan to stick a fry in my mouth, making me smile as I took it and kissed his fingers.

"Don't do things like that when I still have to deal with extras!" He hissed at me and I could see the slight blush on the tips of his ears. I pouted a little only to laugh while he glared at me.

The rest of our day went quickly and we changed in the locker room before taking our flight home. The hero section of planes is just nice. It's between first class and business class and we get treated like first class without dealing with anyone aside from the stewards and other heroes. Relaxing.

When we finally made it home we went straight home to find Kirishima and Shoto standing by the door holding BBQ take out and beer. Sometimes this is all that I really need. Good food, something to drink, my friends and my husband to hold me together.

***

It's been a month since we came back home and now that we aren't on staggered shifts it's much easier, not to mention that we are partners. We walk inside the agency and head straight for our office to catch up on paperwork from while we were gone. Of course we are still catching up, we were gone for months and the hero who was supposed to keep things up to date for us ended up in the hospital, losing his memories, leaving it untouched for most of the time we were gone.

The blinds to the office were open letting us see out and our coworkers to see in, if they really wanted to. We only closed them when we had meetings or mission briefings, and occasionally when we ended up crashing on the couch. Memories of a late night and us relieving some stress came to mind. Okay, very rarely did we close the blinds for personal reasons.

We share the office, each having our own desk and several file cabinets each, not to mention our shared supply closet. We were elbow deep in work when Kacchan sat back and said, "Fuck it!"

I looked up to see him stand and stretch, I smiled at the sight of his strong muscles almost begging me to touch them. I silently stood from my chair and started closing window blinds and locked the door before Kacchan looked back up again.

"Oh?" He smiled teasingly at me.

"Oh," I nodded before going to him and kissing him. Looks like we won't be able to concentrate today.

***

Almost done," I groaned looking at the last dozen or so papers on my desk, I looked over at Kacchan to see roughly the same as well as Kacchan with dark circles under his eyes. We haven't been able to patrol at all since we've returned, spending all of our time sorting, filing and completing paperwork.

"I need coffee, do you want any?" Kacchan asked, standing up stretching. I looked up and out the window to see the coffee pot empty and I saw the clock. We should have clocked out three hours ago.

"Let's go home," I groaned, pointing at the clock and when he looked up he let out a sigh of relief. We straighten things up and locked up the office.

"I can't stand much less walk all the way home. I'm making some coffee, why don't you go around the office and check in with everyone? I know you're dying too," Kacchan grumbled and I smiled nodding. As tired as I am I feel more alive when I see my friends, I truly hate paperwork.

I walked around and saw Iida and Uraraka and called out to them and when they looked up they smiled and waved before I even arrived.

"Deku you look terrible! I can't believe no one was assigned to take over Gia's work when she was hurt. Memory or not, someone should have looked into it." Uraraka huffed, but instead she handed me a cup of water from the dispenser. Sadly as mad as they are for me it was out of their hands.

"Thanks," I took the cup without commenting on the huge oversight from the association.

Iida started looking around and when he was comfortable he asked, "So I heard you had to call for security. How bad did it get for you to call them?" I swear he has become more of a gossip than Mina since we graduated.

"Sperm donor bad," I answered and I saw his eyes widen in shock and Uraraka gasped out loud.

"You saw your dad?" She whispered and I shook my head.

"I don't have a Dad remember?" I took a drink and saw Shoto walking over.

"Lucky," he groaned before getting himself a cup from the water cooler. Then Uraraka caught him up and he apologized. "Sorry, my own sperm donor is being an ass." I nodded understanding completely. Endeavor has been trying to be better since we were still in highschool. It just still hasn't, and probably never will, make up for what he's done in the past.

"Turns out one of my shadow's was his son and he found out I was a pro hero. Like I was somehow hiding the fact that I'm Japan's number 1 hero? All he has done is yell at me saying I can't do this or that but to be fair, I called security on him without listening when he showed up at the apartment we were staying in, uninvited." I took another drink enjoying my cup, part of me wants another cup, the rest of me wants to go home.

"Kacchan and I were supposed to clock out 3 hours ago. With any luck we'll be completely caught up by next week but I don't think we'll be staying late any more. We are beat," I yawned and looked over at the break area where Kacchan was practically falling asleep on his feet. "We are not planning on coming in tomorrow. We already worked a shift and a half today and we have given up far too many days off, paid overtime or not. We can't keep doing this."

They nodded and walked with me as I made my way to Kacchan. I didn't say anything about it because at this point would I even make it across the office without falling on my face without them?

Someone grabbed my arm pulling me back and I let out a surprised yelp catching everyone's attention. When I looked up my tired smile was replaced with a scowl and I yanked my arm away.

"Let go of me, who even let you up here? This floor is for office work only, if you need help from a pro hero you can request help downstairs," I took a step back before I turned, leaving the scumbag behind.

"Izuku, I am your father, can't you even listen to me?"

"No," I kept going, not even turning around as I answered him but at this point Kacchan was making his way over and I could see smoke coming off of his hands. To be fair, technically he is trespassing in a restricted area and it would not be abnormal to call the police and charge him at this point. After all, we do have sensitive documents here.

"Izuku, I found a bride for you!" He yelled and I stopped in my tracks looking back in complete shock. The entire floor fell silent as every single set of eyes on the floor were now trained on the man.

"As your father it's my job to ensure that you can live a good life-" I couldn't take it anymore and before I knew it I had closed the distance between us and punched him, sending him flying a few meters.

"A good life? You think that you can honestly come in here and spout this nonsense? I'm already married you dumb fuck!" I was screaming but I couldn't stop myself. For him to actually have this little interest in me this whole time is degrading.

"Every year I have to answer the phone on my birthday and Christmas just because mom asked me too. I told you FIVE YEARS AGO when I was forced to invite you to my wedding! You didn't even reply! I had to send several invitations and Mom wouldn't let it go until I sent it certified and you had to sign that you received it! And you don't know that I'm married?" I was fuming and I saw Shinso calling for both security and the local police because of the fact that I actually hit him. We will have to press charges just to avoid a lawsuit and that's if my father was only after money and not my reputation.

He tried arguing but I stopped him before he could. The look of sheer embarrassment could be seen by everyone in the room. Shinso escorted the police and I saw Todoroki hand over a stack of paperwork that looked like just the paperwork that needed to be filled out for my father to be taken away but none of that really mattered to me at the moment.

I could only feel my heart pounding in my chest and the light headedness as my head throbbed, my legs gave out and just as I was about to hit the floor Kacchan caught me.

"Hey Izu, it's okay. I'm here now everything is going to be alright," Kacchan whispered, hugging me close to his body. He carried me back into our office and it wasn't until after he set me down that I saw the tears threatening to sneak out of his eyes that I snapped out of my daze. He wiped away my tears and I saw that the blinds were still open but I couldn't bring myself to stop. Kacchan pulled me into his lap and it wasn't long before I heard the door open. I peeked up to see Kirishima quickly close all the blinds and hit the silencer before locking the door and leaving, Kacchan's arms tightening around me when we were finally truly alone.

I fell asleep in Kacchan's arms.

"Bastard, he really thinks he can sue because Deku hit him? He picked the wrong man's husband to fuck around with," I woke up to Kacchan cursing my sperm donor and I can't help the sigh that escaped me. Then my phone started ringing and when I picked it up I saw my mom's contact information. Just why? I really don't want to answer but I do anyway.

"Mom?" I asked only to hear her screaming her own profanities and I could hear Aunty in the background cursing him too. I let out a groan before saying, "We are at our office, can I call you back? We are knee deep in paperwork at the moment." It was the truth but at the same time I didn't bother to tell them that it wasn't caused by my father. After all that paperwork was already on its way from what I overheard Kacchan saying.

"We are on our way," Mom hissed and dear God, my mom scares me sometimes. We hung up the phone and in response to my questioning look Kacchan handed me a stack of papers and I got up from the couch and walked over to my desk to work on overdue files.

It didn't take long, less than an hour actually before we had papers delivered and we were escorted to what is known as Hero Court. It's literally a court room that's only use was for citizens to sue heroes. And today I'm standing here with my husband only for my sperm donor and half brother to be standing on the other side. Poor Dragon, once it gets out that he sued me and why, he will be black listed from any and all hero agencies. The fact that it is our father doing the suing will mean nothing and the fact he stood by him will mean everything.

The judge was going over all the evidence which included medical analysis saying that I punched him using my quirk, that's a bold faced lie, and then the judge turned back to Kacchan and I and asked if we had a counterclaim, which we do.

I could see the judge frowning when he saw the information on where the assault took place and the fact it was a restricted area alone was almost enough to throw out the case altogether, then Kacchan handed over the police report from the arresting officers about the sensitive classified information that was kept in the office and how it was reported by pro hero Cinnamon that he had claimed to be Deku's father in order to gain entry and the entry log that he signed in order to come up. This whole case was a hot mess.

Just when the judge looked like he was about to pass his verdict all of our phones went off and when we checked them (considering we are pro heroes we have to be available in case of emergencies) the judge saw the security footage of what all happened. It was muted but the fact that I was grabbed from behind is clearly assault and that I had tried to dismiss him only for him to argue was also clear. The fact that this was all over the news so anyone and everyone could see it didn't bode well and then a caption ran across the footage;

The day our heroes are attacked and then sued is the day we lose our heroes.

Then as the caption disappeared it finally showed me punching my sperm donor without the use of my quirk and all of this led to the door slamming open and our parents came storming into the courtroom. If I didn't already know who posted the clip I would have sworn they planned this.

"Mom," I groaned and she smiled at me sadly before handing a thick folder to the hero on duty.

"This is evidence, it contains the conditions of our divorce, including the fact that he was to never approach Izuku in the future so long as I allowed a phone call on his birthday and Christmas every year. I have never once declined the phone calls and even now that Izuku is a fully grown adult I still insist that he accepts those phone calls." Mom announced and things just got a lot more complicated for my sperm donor.

"It's my understanding that those kinds of divorces are only approved if abuse or severe neglect were proven to be an issue," the judge looked at mom surprised and she nodded sadly.

"Neglect, please understand why I can't say anymore in front of so many people," mom answered him and he nodded, eyeing the cameras as he did. Yeah, he abandoned me with only Kacchan there, we were three and he just left.

Hero Court is always televised. People actually get some kind of sick satisfaction from watching heroes lose, the fact that I'm not going to lose is about to backfire on them. If I had to guess, the fact that Dragon is standing next to the bum is about to drag him down, he'll probably lose his license but that was his choice to make.

Kacchan and I pulled out more paperwork to hand the hero to pass to the judge, "this is paperwork on how security had to be called while we were on our last mission to get a hero agency back up and running and it includes paperwork on the investigation on how our private address was exposed to them in the first place." The judge looked it all over carefully and I could practically hear his sigh of relief at the fact that Dragon was implicated. Yeah, Hero Court is nothing but sick entertainment (mostly for villains) and I hate it so much.

Each piece of evidence is shown through the camera showing the audience what the judge sees so the fact that Dragon hacked into the Hero Association's network to find out where we were staying was on view for anyone and everyone to see as well as the fact that my mother's divorce agreement stated clearly that he was never to come looking for me.

That hurts, all this time was the reason he only called twice a year because he wasn't allowed to call more? I asked to see the agreement and the judge passed it back after my mother approved (not that it matters, worse case I'll get to read it on TV tonight when this airs for everyone to see) the papers did clearly state that he couldn't come into physical contact with me but it also encouraged him to call more than the minimum of twice a year. So he only called because he was forced to?

"Is there any way to stop these phone calls in the future?" I could feel the tears trickling down my face but I just wiped them away, frustrated that I'm crying while I'm so angry. "I don't see a reason to force him to call me when he obviously doesn't want to talk to me anyway."

"You no longer have to accept any and all contact from the man mentioned on your birth certificate, you are a full grown adult," I nodded ignoring how he over-dramatized, at least I don't have to deal with the deadbeat anymore.

Kacchan wrapped an arm around my shoulders and I turned into his chest crying. "Can we go now? As you stated we are Japan's number 1 and 2 heroes and we still have a ton of paperwork sitting on our desk from when we were on our last mission." I didn't bother to look up and only turned to leave when Kacchan started guiding me away from our podium and towards the exit, only bothering to pick up our paperwork on our way out. Mom however had to stay, she gave us a tight hug on our way out only for Aunty and Uncle to hug us too but they let us go and we made our way back to our office, closing the blinds and closing us off from the world again.

"Ka-cch-an?" I'm shaking and it's hard to get anything out but when I looked up he was hitting the silencer by the door, he was quick to make sure the door was locked before he came back and wrapped his arms around me. The fact that my quirk was going off as I just stood there gave away the fact that I can't hold myself together.

"Ssh, Teddy Bear, I'm here. I'm right here," he whispered as he ran fingers through my hair with one hand while his other arm was wrapped around me, holding me tightly against him.

"He only ever called because he had to," I hiccuped and Kacchan tried to hush my sobs. What makes this worse I can't even really hold him when I'm like this, I might hurt him. I could literally break his back. My arms could only be around myself while he held me.

"Tell me what you need, you know I'll do it," he whispered, pulling me into his lap to hold me. What do I want? Is wanting to be loved really so much to ask for? Is wanting my father to actually care about me really that much to ask for? I really didn't think so.

"I just want to be wanted, is that too much to ask for?" I croaked, only to hear him trying to soothe me. I am well aware why my father didn't just call me and that was because all of those calls are recorded. I don't know why he wanted to talk to me so badly now but I highly doubt that it was actually to arrange a marriage.

"Deku, tell me to go to hell if you want but," Kacchan got my attention before finishing. "Would having sex help at all? What can I DO right now that could help? Anything at all, please." He caressed my face and I leaned into his loving touch. I couldn't help barking out a laugh but even now he was looking at me completely seriously. He isn't the best at emotions, if he can't hit it that is and the fact that I actually did hit my father and it still didn't help was leaving him at a loss. So his next go to was sex.

Would having sex actually help? No, not at all. But it could help take my mind off of a few things...

"Let me clean my face and then maybe we could try?" I smiled at him and he let out a sigh of relief before nodding. He picked me up and unlocked our office door and carried me to the showers ignoring my protest and it wasn't lost on me how our coworkers were smiling at us and it's kind of nice. I already know that I have the world's best husband. Oh, I guess that because of Hero Court the fact we are married will be in the spotlight now. It's not like we were ever hiding us or anything but I really didn't care to make a huge announcement like some heroes do.

"I'll get our clothes from the locker room, you go ahead and enjoy the hot water," Kacchan winked at me, making me smile before I turned on the hot water and stepped into bliss that awaited me there. My dirty clothes were hanging up next to the shower stall to let Kacchan know where I was when he returned.

When I finally turned the water off and toweling off my hair I realized that he never came back, which only worried me. I quickly dried myself and put on my old clothes before running out with my hair still mostly wet to find both Dragon and my father standing in front of my office trying to push their way past Kacchan.

"What is going on here and who let them up here again?" I demanded, but the whole room went silent as they all turned to me. I ignored the father-son duo, making my way to stand next to Kacchan before turning back to wait for their answer.

"You really weren't in the office?" My sperm donor asked stupidly.

"It's a good thing I got my IQ from mom," I grumbled and Kacchan as well as a few others laughed out loud. I coughed, pretending that I didn't actually say that out loud and waited another couple seconds before repeating my question.

"Deku, they have a piece of paper from the judge earlier saying they have the right to meet with you once today before they have to return. Dragon is no longer a pro hero, his license was revoked thanks to him hacking into the hero agency's database to get confidential information," Kacchan quickly brought me up to speed.

"Surely they don't think I can just make that go away? Because I can't make him a hero again," I flat out denied, there wouldn't be a point to helping him get his license again, after all he would already be black listed by every hero agency in Japan.

"Are you really saying that the number 1 hero can't get him his license back?" The deadbeat demanded and I could only let out a groan.

"Considering it was our information that was hacked into, I can't. I never brought up charges the hero agency he worked at did and since it has already gone to Hero Court it can't be dropped. Besides thanks to him standing next to you there isn't a hero agency in all of Japan that would even consider hiring him now that he has been on Hero Court. It would be one thing if he was accused but the fact remains that he actually did stand with you in your attempt to sue Japan's number 1 hero. Hell my rank doesn't even matter when everything is said and done," I shrugged before asking, "So is there a reason you want to talk to me or are you sticking to that sorry excuse?"

Kacchan stayed by my side and my friends were loosely surrounding them ready to drag them out at a moment's notice.

"What did they mean that you were married to Japan's number 2 hero? When I checked it showed Katsuki's picture not a woman's," he avoided eye contact letting me know that he actually does understand what that means.

I smiled before answering, "It means my husband and I are doing quite well for ourselves and never say his beautiful name again. You don't deserve that luxury." I waited a few seconds before asking, "Is that all?"

He looked at me and it didn't escape my notice that my quirk was starting to crackle around me, making me frown.

"Whatever interview is over, get the hell out and don't come back," Kacchan interrupted what he was about to say before turning towards our office and yelling a few more instructions. Kirishima was more than happy to bring us some fresh hot cocoa before patting Kacchan on the back.

"Bro! You did great! You managed not to set off a single explosion!" Kirishima cheered while walking in with us, Iida and Todoroki escorting our unwanted guest out of the building.

My phone rang, showing All Might's number I answered it only to hear his panicked voice and words that mean absolutely nothing when put together.

"Slow down, what's wrong?" I asked him, interrupting his stream of nonsense.

"She said yes to dinner!" He screamed in my ear and I had to hold the phone away a bit from how loud he was. At least I already know who he is talking about. Then he started rambling about how he had sent a text message before the my video clip aired. Mom already knew about and was on her way to Her Court by then though.

"Congratulations All Might. Where are you going to take her?" I asked while trying to hide how exhausted and emotionally drained I am.

"That's why I'm calling," he said sheepishly and I couldn't help chuckling. I told him her favorite kind of food and some nice local places that served them. "Thank you my boy, as a small gift I'll tell you a little secret about your office."

Our office used to be his even though he didn't use it often when he was working. I couldn't help peeking up and I walked over to the closet like he told me and I found the switch he was talking about. "Once you flip the switch no one will be able to enter once you seal the room and all communication will be blocked as well. It's helpful when you need to get things done without being interrupted. If you know what I mean." I flipped the switch before walking back to the couch, we said our goodbyes and hung up only for me to focus back at Kacchan who was getting more irritated with Kirishima.

"Shitty Hair, how do you get your frustrations out?" Kacchan asked suddenly and Kiri looked at him confused for a second before answering.

"Most of the time I go to the gym, why?"

"When you can't go to the gym, is there anything you can do with Icyhot to get your frustrations out?" Kacchan glared at his best friend and Kirishima got red faced before putting down the mugs and quickly leaving only for Kacchan to follow him to the door, lock it and silence the room.

"About fucking time," I heard him grumbling, it made me smile a little bit and he was able to lock the door and seal the room before coming back to me. It ended up just being sweet kisses and cuddles followed by a nap but Kacchan was trying so hard and I love him so much.

He really is the greatest.
