Ten Chief Gods of the Titans and seven Major Gods. These are the Underworld gods, seventeen in total, the weakest among them still at the level of a Major God. Among them, Mephistopheles and Moirae have reached the pinnacle of Chief Gods of the Titans.
It can be said that when they further step into the level of a God-King, it wouldn't be surprising at all. From this, it is clear that the gods under Hades' command are incredibly powerful. As for Hestia? Hmm... Hades' view of her is merely as a mascot, not requiring her to do much; she holds little significance.
From any angle, the growth of the Underworld has been enormous. It can be said without exaggeration that after the battle with Hyperion, the benefits gained have put the Underworld almost on par with the other two new God-Kings.
Of course, the core of this transformation is Hyperion, who also ascended to God-King status through the World Tree. The World Tree, of similar God-King quality, has provided Hades with tremendous growth, or rather, has greatly enhanced the World Tree.
The rise of each Underworld god and the birth of the seventy-two pillars of demons all signify the rapid growth of the Underworld, a growth visible to the naked eye.
However, Hades knew that the transformation of the Underworld was not yet complete. With a thought, he arrived at the final place in the Underworld, the Underworld Prison, where one of Hades' greatest trump cards was being nurtured.
If the Ouroboros birthed by the World Tree has the potential to evolve into an Ancient God in the future, which would require long-term nurturing and great opportunity, then the seven-headed ten-horned red dragon nurtured in the Underworld Prison is a more immediate trump card. As Hades arrived, the seven deadly sin witches stepped out and respectfully saluted, "Lord Hades!"
Hades nodded indifferently. The seven deadly sin witches had also reached the level of First-tier Gods. However, compared to them, the enormous seven-headed ten-horned red dragon coiled in the Underworld Prison appeared even more terrifying.
To be precise, the Underworld Prison now resembled not just a simple world but an egg, an egg nurturing the seven-headed ten-horned red dragon, waiting to hatch. The World Tree, like a mother, was incubating this egg. The relationship was strange, representing the World Tree of creation nurturing the world-ending seven-headed ten-horned red dragon, yet this strange scene was entirely under control.
The seven-headed ten-horned red dragon, centered around the seven deadly sins, gradually masters the power of destruction, ultimately destroying a world. The seven deadly sin witches now wield the power of these sins.
After all these years, the seven-headed ten-horned red dragon has become a puppet, completely devoid of consciousness, reason, or wildness, all of which have been erased. It only moves under the control of the deadly sin witches, and this is the current state of the seven-headed ten-horned red dragon.
Admittedly, such a controlled dragon can only exert limited divine power, no matter how excellent the seven deadly sin witches are. They can control at most nine-tenths, possibly only eight-tenths, of its divine power, unable to fully unleash it.
But is this seemingly unprofitable deal really a loss? A truly autonomous seven-headed ten-horned red dragon would have no rationality, only a destructive instinct, being a beast born to end the world. It would be uncontrollable by any means. Hades, however, has made it a hollow shell from the start, which, while only able to exert eight or nine-tenths of its power, is a world-ending beast he can perfectly control with unlimited potential for growth.
At this moment, with the Underworld's further elevation, a massive influx of world energy entered the body of the seven-headed ten-horned red dragon, causing its divine power to surge.
Hades had twice ventured into the Sea of Chaos, devouring and destroying countless small worlds. The world energy from these worlds was absorbed by the World Tree. But! The destruction of worlds also produces world-ending energy, which Hades collected, not only creating the controllable deadly sin witches but also infusing it into the seven-headed ten-horned red dragon.
After so much effort, with the recent major enhancement of the World Tree, the seven-headed ten-horned red dragon has finally undergone a transformation. The immense influx of world energy has broken the long-standing barrier, elevating the dragon from Chief God of the Titans to God-King. Though this might not seem particularly powerful, it is crucial to remember that typically, the seven-headed ten-horned red dragon would require countless ages to be born, only appearing when a world ends, fulfilling its destiny to bring an end to a decaying world.
Now, this seven-headed ten-horned red dragon, controlled by Hades, has reached the level of a God-King. The first God-King of the Underworld's subordinate gods has been born, though it should be called a puppet rather than a subordinate god. However, this distinction is unimportant; what matters is that this is one of the trump cards firmly in Hades' grasp, never to be lost.
Moreover, this is only the beginning for the Underworld. Following Mephistopheles, Moirae, and others, more will follow. The Underworld is rising, and at an astonishing speed. The future extent of its power is unimaginable to any god, but it is certain that the Underworld will reign supreme over all.
