Chapter 31(Nirvana)

Jason was engrossed in his conversation with the clown, and it seemed like he was oblivious to the fact that he was under attack.

As soon as the scythe reached an inch away from Jason neck, his eyes moved,

The position of clown and Jason was swapped in an instant and the clown came in the line of fire. But as soon as the flame touched the clown's neck, the Flame blade vanished in thin air, as if it was never there in the first place.

From the perspective of Hudon and Reaper, it was as if Flame disappeared as soon as Jason took a single sidestep, the reaper was still holding his scythe, but there was no blade on it, which caused too much confusion in the face of both reaper and Hudon.

Hudon's instincts were screening him to run away from this unknown monster, of whom he had no idea how many tricks that he had under his slip. Whether it was appearing inside a barrier unnoticed to whether being able to stop reapers invincible scythe, they were all the tasks that Hudon had labeled as impossible, but today right in front of his eyes his whole reality and beliefs were crumbling like a sandcastle But amidst all the chaos one thing was certain this was a fight that he can not back out from, cause the only thing he had left which is his pride was on the line … all the evil and cruel deeds he did to become a person he now boils down to this moment. This was the moment that would decide whether he did right or wrong, whether he was walking a path he chooses or was he just born to become someone's stepping stone.

He ordered the grim reaper to manifest his scythe again, and so he did. He again swiped the scythe, it was an unstoppable force slaughtering all in its path, but at the moment he reached for the neck of Jason this invincible and unbreakable wall would emerge, and the scythe would be broken. But Hudon was not the one who would easily back out, he, again and again, reconstructed his scythe and slashed at Jason only to be utterly disappointed.

Hudon was now at his wit's end, at this point he had no thought except to kill Jason

[You bloody just die already] said Hudon while calling forth 7 swords made up of fire and send them towards Jason.

Jason's expression was calm it was as if he didn't care about anything that Hudon did, With a swipe of his had small Phoenix manifested and attacked the incoming swords. Black and crimson flame covered the ground … everywhere the explosion occurred … the black fire rocks were already melted into magma, and the only spot that left unharmed was an area under both of their feet and the throne at which the Young demon sat.

The young demon was having the time of his life, he did not know how humans used fire, but he could feel the intensity of the battle and the heat of fire they summoned very clearly.

He was very excited to fight the winner and to kill him.

[what do you think Hudon what was the reason for such drastic change in ruins ] Jason said out of nowhere.

[I don't know] Said Hudon and continued his assault.

[Oh my dear Hudon you just don't know anything ... do you think that such change could have overnight ... you don't think that, do you? ] said Jason while summoning some spears of crimson fire and bolting them towards Hudon.

[ what do you mean by this ... l don't have anything to do with this...] said Hudon while dodging spears.

[ let me ask you something weren't you the one who spread the rumors of him being here and letter bought my Tracker team to prove your point...am I wrong] asked Jason stopping his assault.

Hudon heaved a sigh of relief seeing Jason stop

[ what are you talking about I don't know anything about these ruins or whoever "him" is to you... but if you are saying this is your reason then this is all a misunderstanding and I think we should sit and talk] Hudon was, by all means, wanted to escape from this predicament at any cost.

[Oh Hudon you are really a sharp man, you must have learned a lot under My father's leadership, and that is what I hate most about you.... but well I respect you, so I should stop playing... as a sign of my respect towards you let me show you some of my true power.] said, Jason.

[No Jason I realized I was at the wrong here so let me apologize for all my wrongdoings... please.] Hudon was totally at a loss for words because the scene in front of him was unbelievable.

[The one who gives birth is the most Rightful owner of your life... as the ruler of Death & life... I summon The Crimson Phoenix to Graze this mortal plane with its might and let my enemy Bath in... Nirvana Flames.] chanted Jason during the chant, all the small phoenix, medium phoenix that were flaying and gaming at Hudon flew back towards Jason, each bringing a huge amount of MANA with them. All the MANA converged at one point and formed a huge sun-like structure above Jason's head, and From it Appeared a majestic looking Bird. It was such a huge size that it seems to cover the sun itself. And in its eyes there seemed to be endless darkness and light, looking at which seemed like looking into the universe itself. The bird that appeared was no normal phoenix that could be found if searched hard, it was a Divine phoenix that has ascended from this world.

As soon as the phoenix appeared, The true demon was also shocked ... he had never expected to come across someone in the first circle that could not only control flames but to such a degree that his connection with MANA seemed to be broken, it was as if the MANA was no longer listening to him ... but then also among all this he remained calm and started to focus on retreat and report.

[Oh god of Life and Death ... Grant this mortal world a way to end their suffering ... may all them reach nirvana, feather fall.] As soon as Jason's spell finished the Giant Phoenix flapped his wings and there were suddenly millions of Feather-like blades covering the whole sky which in a blink fell down from the sky like meteors.

Hudon seeing this summoned his many artifacts creating various shapes and colored barriers around him but with each dozen of feather, a shield broke and after 3 dozen more feathers, Hudon was impaled with a feather through his heart.

[I acknowledge you as a smart man but not a powerful one let you be born into a happy next life ] Prayed Jason before turning towards True demon, who was currently doing his best to dodge and keep up a barrier to protect himself from the feather rain, which was not solely focused on him but was certainly doing damage to his defenses.

[I never thought you would possess a divine pheonix.. but it doesn't change the fact you yourself are Chicken... I saw your whole battle and this must be your end move so you must not have much mana left to let me just kill you know... I am gonna attack beware unless you wanna die.] Said True Demon while summoning a Giant broad sword and running towards Jason.

[ don't worry, I will not get hurt...] the running body of the Demon suddenly stopped and fell on the Ground [Because You're weak] Demon's heart was in the hands of Jason and the demon turned into a pile of Magma rocks and fell on the ground turning into ash.

Jason muttered something in a strange language and when he stopped Hudon's body started to twitch and from the area of Hudson's heart a pitch-black flame tore through and jumped inside the demon's Heart.

In Jason hand there lied the Demon heart that looked pitch black due to burning in black flame instead of the usual red. Jason threw that heart in the air and The phoenix grabbed the Heart and swallowed the heart whole and after letting out a huge screech sound it disappeared into thin air.

[Now just 5 more flames left to acquire...] said Jason, walking towards the metal door.

A/n:- sorry for such a long chapter but this would be the last chapter of this volume 1 "the origins".

Since I wanted to go with a bang, I took some time to complete the last chapter and also thought more deeply about the upcoming storyline. Hope the wait was worth it.
