Stepped Up

Within a desert, an army stood while looking at the coffin that had appeared before them all. The coffin door was sent flying, and from within, a handsome young man stepped out of the coffin while looking around.

"... Lord Help us all," Onoki said as horror swallowed him seeing the person who had stepped out of the Coffin. out of any Shinobi to be brought back to life... why him? Just why? Were they fated to lose?

"I'm alive? This is funny, after going all out to kill me, you bring me back to life... Onoki, you brat. you have become so old." I said with a smirk while looking around, my eyes landing on the only person in the army I knew. Onoki managed to use Dust release back then when I was about to kill him, which saved his life.

"R-run!" Onoki didn't think for a second and ordered everyone to run. this was a monster that took on the world and didn't even lose to the world but lost due to his power being too overwhelming.

"Old man, what are you saying?" A red-haired kid, called Naruto Uzumaki asked in shock... yeah, it seems like in this world he had red hair instead of blond hair. but it was shorter than his hair in the anime, making the hair not look so weird on him.

"Run... for the first time in ages I feel like I have control. You all will be my test subject." I said with a smile, I had to think Mio, I didn't expect her to have improved the seals. As of now, there were 8 seals on me, and they felt far more refined and stronger than those old ones, to make things better they even affected my source,

"Wait, you can't fight them. we need you to join them and fight against Madara who is planning on casting a powerful genjutsu on the world." a man wrapped in bandages, making him look like a mommy said while coming over to my side. I knew this man, he was Mu. I also fought him back then, and he also had dust release.

"Why would I stop that?" I asked with a smirk, I knew who I was talking to wasn't Mu. Mu died a few years after my death, the person I was talking to was the one who brought Mu back to life, Kabuto.

"The only responsibility I carry around is myself," I said while opening the first gate, my eyes glowed with the Magic Eyes of Destruction. these eyes were not that powerful, they affected physical stuff above everything else, but they could affect the mind. Using this, I had MU's body destroyed, I destroyed Edo Tensei, meaning Mu was not going to recover

Those brought back to life through this jutsu were pretty much immortal, all attacks that could injure them would be healed unless you could affect their soul. the best way to deal with them is to seal them away, they also had an endless amount of chakra...

Looking away from Mu's destroyed body, I looked at the sand gathering around me and suddenly shot up, swallowing me. the sand wasted no time, going on to seal me away. down below, a dark red-haired man standing next to Naruto sighed softly seeing I was sealed away. This was Gaara, Kage of the land of Wind

"Is he gone?" I asked while standing next to Gaara and looking at the seal, 

"Yes, but be on guard. the fact he didn't dodge or attempt to resist makes me worry." Gaara said softly, everyone nodded lightly and looked towards the seal before they froze... who asked Gaara that question?

Everyone turned, just to see me looking towards the seal with crossed arms. but seeing everyone looking at me, I was confused.

"What?" I asked a slow mocking smile growing on my face. Gaara didn't think twice and jumped backward while summoning sand to capture me, but I just disappeared, appearing a few feet away from the army.

"All Jutsu are useless before him. he has the power to teleport far better than even the flying Raijan. We have to flee." Onoki said not wanting to stay here any longer.

"Brat, you already have a foot in the grave. Now, Like it or not... today all of you will become my test subjects." I said while warping reality, giving myself god-level martial arts skills. I was like the author, and currently, I could give myself anything.

First thing first, God Level Martial arts skills. second, Experience in combat that made it look like I have been fighting for thousands of years. third, the sharpest possible senses I could give myself. and 4th, I brought myself back to life but kept the benefit of being a reanimated shinobi, which was keeping this endless chakra. 

With Mio's new seal, my powers of destruction were gone, so I could freely reality warp without having to worry about it not lasting long. although my reality-warping capability was weakened thanks to the fact I was sealed.

So, I began to walk slowly towards them. if I had to use the Naruto World ranking system to rank my current strength, I should be special Jonin, or maybe Chunin. but I was a bit stronger than the last time I was alive. These new seals did their job of weakening me, but they also gave me a bit more power I could use.

"What could he have done to bring himself back to life?" Onoki said seeing the lines that covered my whole body disappearing. those lines were a sign that I was a reanimated shinobi, but with them gone, it meant that I was alive... but this was good, it meant they had a fighting chance.

"Attack, do not give him time to even think, thats how he teleports. Overwhelm him with everything you have!" Onoki roared and looked like a madman, but everyone followed his order and launched everything they had at me.

I looked at the incoming jutsu and smirked. what did it mean when I gave myself God Level martial arts skills? Well, when I gave it to myself, I was thinking of a few things. for one, Ultra instinct from the Dragon Ball world, plus the martial arts capability from the Baki world, Death Kwon Do from Regular Show. Now let's first break these 3 things down.

Ultra Instinct was the peak of martial arts, instead of thinking, your body acts on its own, with perfect timing and movement to react to all things. it could go as far as even hardening your body to withstand attacks coming your way. it's not about using overwhelming power to defeat your skills, but perfectly using everything you have to even combat those above your power level.

the Baki verse martial arts capability was shocking. you had people who without trying, could see the weaknesses of everyone they looked at. Could tell the outcome of a fight by simply looking at someone's fighting stance, and the list went on

Death Kwon Do from the Regular Show was... well, overpowered. it is a martial art where each hit either kills you instantly or erases you. 

The martial arts I had in mind while taking all of these 3 into account would use my powers to the fullest. I had to of course take into account the many martial arts of the Shinobi world, and other animes like God of High School as well.

and I created a Truly God Level martial arts, the Reality Warping Martial arts. A martial art that could channel my reality-warping skills, allowing me to do just about anything... of course, with my current skills, I couldn't create something so complex. So, I gave myself the instinct for it to come towards me while I fought.

As for the experience? well, thousands of years of combat experience wasn't small. Right now, every movement coming towards me made me feel like I faced it a hundred times over.

I shot forward, and as if my palms were a blade, I swung forward, cutting through a fire jutsu that wanted to swallow me. What I did right there was gather my chakra into my palm, find the weak point in the jutsu, and cut it. I wasn't the only one to do this, although not shown in the anime, those with the byakugan could see the weak points in jutsu and target them, allowing them to do what I just did. The anime ignored the byakugan, but the light novels didn't.

But this was my first time doing something like this, so it wasn't perfect as my palms were burnt. but that was okay, my recovery speed was fast, and that was even more so when I could just warp reality and erase the injury. but that needed a thought, a thought that I didn't have mid-combat, so my natural healing speed had to kick in, healing the injury for me.

"He is a sage." Naruto who was getting ready for battle said softly sensing my chakra, he watched as I jumped around, dodging the jutsu coming at me with my great senses, and cutting through many of them.

"B-but how can a Sage be like this? he isn't even in Sage mode," Naruto said, unable to understand what he was seeing. it felt like I was using Toad Sage, the same Sage mode he had mastered, but mixed with many other types of Sage modes. just what was going on?

Well, that was simple, I went around learning Sage Mode from all types of sage beasts hundreds of years ago. When my twins were training, I of course took the chance to train to master Sage Power. That should be a hint to just how powerful I was, the amount of Sage powers I mastered was a lot, and this was before the Sage beast began dying out thanks to many of them rather having chakra than focusing on Natural energy.

Everyone who was attacking me was also in shock, how couldn't day as my reflexes were getting sharper and sharper with every passing moment? It got to a point when they stopped attacking to catch their breath, giving me the chance to catch a water ball shooting toward me with my hands, and just crushed it.

"You guys are so weak... now my turn to counter," I said softly, now what was the best way to deal with an army? it was best to lower their numbers first, so holding my palm out, a fireball gathered, before it shot into the sky.

"I just created this move on the spot, don't judge me," I said as the fireball kept flying up, before it suddenly enlarged, becoming a sun. everyone instantly began to start sweating as the heat wave the sun was giving off was huge.

"I call this... heavenly Sun. It starts weak, but as the flame goes through the process of nuclear fusion, it doesn't just explode. no, it absorbs more atoms and energy around it, growing larger, bigger, and more powerful, until it can't absorb more atoms and energy. but at that point, it's pretty much a star." I said while looking at everyone whose battle spirit was destroyed at this scene.

"Now, I will drop this down... or you all team up and kill those three," I said while looking at Onoki, Gaara, and Naruto. I sat down with crossed legs and waited to see an interesting show.

"What are you saying?" Naruto said with gritted teeth seeing how the air around them had changed as everyone was truly thinking about attacking them.

"You're just a clone, while everyone is fighting, you're safe. so of course you have nothing to worry about. while everyone is fighting, what are you doing?" I asked making people start looking towards Naruto with strange looks.

"I will give you all the count to... 10 to make up your mind," I said before I began counting. many shinobi there had strong wills, but there were those who didn't and attacked the 3. But if there was 1, there were of course more. this set off a chain reaction of the 3 beings attacked by the army, yet at the same time unable to fight back to kill as they were too righteous or whatever. 

"Stop it! It's an Illusion!" A blonde-haired woman with a fan on her back roared at everyone, causing them to be stunned, they looked towards her, wanting her to explain.

"try blocking against the sun's rays, there is no difference to the heat wave. Thats a flaw within the genjutsu" She said while pointing the fan at me.

"You want to start infighting amongst us." She said, causing me to click my tongue. although I could create the Heavenly Sun, I would need some time, plus it would be hard to control. the easiest way was to put the whole army in a genjutsu and just have them fight against each other. Plus this was my first time using a jutsu, so I did not see every small detail within said illusion. So, I had the sun above disappear

"Fine... have you guys ever played a game of catch?" I asked, leaving everyone confused... soon, their face turned pale when I picked up a rock and threw it into space before it came back down falling as a huge asteroid covering the sky.

"to those who don't have a dad, I will be your dad today. I will teach you all how to catch. now, just hold your hands out, and try and catch the falling rock. don't be scared, it's not like it would kill you or anything." I said with a smirk.

"I may not be your blood dad... but I will be the one who stepped up," I said righteously, causing many of them to secretly curse me.
