Puzzle match

Morning

Seoul, South Korea

Dong-Hyun's place

"Good morning prince charming," Kang-dae squealed as he trail down the steeled handrail.

Taking a sip from his mug of hot coffee, "Good morning too Mr actor and please don't swing down the handrail next time or else I'll be held responsible for your carelessness."

"No one is going to hold you responsible Doctor Kim," Chung-Cha smiled and made her way towards him, "Good morning doctor, how was your night?" When he rolled his eyes and walk away, she added, "Please ensure to inform me if you're about to leave for work."

"I don't bring strangers along with me to work." He retorted without turning back.

"At least that stranger is about to join your hospital today doctor." Jin-joo smirk and crossed her arms, "Doctor, she's gonna be your new nurse, so show some hospitality."

Raising his eyebrows, "Why don't you show her instead, I think its more passionate if you do so." He scoffed and left.

Giving Jin-joo and Kang-dae a wanly face, Chung-Cha stated, "Why does he hate me outta the blue?"

"No don't say that Chung, Dong-Hyun never hates you. Not before, not now."

"Stop lying to me Jin, I've noticed his unwelcome Aura around me since I came to Seoul." Wiping her tears, she sniffed her nose, "First he pushed me in the presence of a lot of people, and then he lashed out on me and warned me never to mention his name ever again."

Walking towards her, Jin-joo consoled, "Hey girl, don't say that, he is my brother and probably he's having a hard time."

"I don't think so, you all knew the reason why he's upset but refuse to spill it out."

"Come, sit first." She guided her towards the couch and sat beside her, "Listen, Dong-Hyun is not the only person having a hard time. Dad, Kang-dae and I are also having hard times too."

"Really? And what is it all about?"

Taking a deep breath, Jin-joo gave Kang-dae an eye contact to excuse them for a minute. When he left, she took Chung-Cha's hand in hers, "Its about mom's health issues."

Chung-Cha widen her eyes in shock and panicked, "What about her? Tell me Mrs Kim is doing fine. You-You didn't tell me about her wh-when I asked her whereabouts."

"Calm down, of course she is not doing fine at all. Mom has been in a coma for two years now."

"What?"

"Yes Chung," Helplessly shaking her head, she explained, "Two years ago she went to L.A for an annual seminar only for us to get a report that she was brutally beaten to stupor."

Chung-Cha threw her hands into her mouth and widen her eyes, "Oh my God."

"We were told that the culprit ran away and left Mom half dead on the ground." Bursting into tears, "Some of the eyewitnesses around saw the scene. They tried to describe the culprit but it was no use. Mom couldn't speak for herself."

"This is bad," Chung-Cha wept.

"Very bad, too bad," Sniffing her nose, "According to the reporters, the culprit was identified as a middle age woman with blonde hair."

"Did you people find her?"

Vigorously nodding her head, "No we couldn't, but I suspect dad had a clue of her family."

"Then why don't you go to ask him."

"I've tried several times but he won't just give in." Pushing a strand of hair behind her ear, she sighed, "I wanted to ask Dong about it but he was too desperate at that moment. With his dark aura, I could tell that he was at the mood of stabbing someone to death."

"Jin, I understand how you feel right now," She burst into tears, "If I'm touched about this then how is your heart right now?"

"Chung-Cha, my heart is diminished. Its doomed, how do I have a complete life without my mother standing beside me?"

Patting her shoulder, Chung-Cha assured, "She's still gonna be by your side, don't think of anything negative, she'll be fine." When she nodded her head, she wiped her eyes, "Now stop crying," Placing her head on her shoulder, "Everything is going to become smooth and bubbly like before."

Nodding her head, she sighed, "I know, but before then, I'll have to carry out my revenge on the family of the culprit responsible for my mother's breakdown."

Narrowing her eyes, she gritted her teeths, "I'll make sure they pay for every pain they cause us. I'll make sure I deal with all of them mercilessly. Even if they are extended family, I don't give a damn. They will all suffer bit by bit, they must feel that pain they caused on my mother. Everyone of them."

"How are you going to do that? You don't even know them."

"Yes you are right, I don't know them but I've sent my men out already, they're on a research mission and once they return, I'll fly to L.A."

"I support you on this one Jin, if only I hadn't come here to look for a job, I would have joined you to knock them down as well." She frowned.

"Its alright, I don't want to bother you with my family problems. Its your opportunity to win back Dong-Hyun's heart."

Nodding her head in agreement, "Yes, and now I've gotten a job offer from his hospital. This is a big chance and luck for me."

"Please don't tarnish it, use it well."

"Yes I will." Pausing for a long time, "Is there any other woman in his life?"

Scrunching her brows, Jin-joo lifted her head, "Other woman?" She chuckled, "No, there is none, not even one. And you know why?" When she nodded, she remarked, "Because he is a busy man and doesn't have time for dates or fun."

"Really? He has totally changed." She beamed.

"Why do you sound like he was a womanizer? You are the only female pal he had ever had and for some odd reason when life got twitched between you two, he lost all hopes in women."

Chung-Cha felt guilty of herself, "If only I had knew, I would have first of all traveled with him to Seoul, but I was so stupid to visit my parents first, and before I knew it, I was robbed on the way and thereafter my phone was stolen in the process."

"Hey, it all in the past now, the good thing is that you've found the other piece to your puzzle match."

"Am so grateful for that Jin-joo and none of this would have work out without your help."

"Aww, stop being silly now." Giving her a tight hug, she smiled, "I'm so happy to see you back again."

Patting her back, "Me too."

Pulling away, she squeezed her cheeks, "Now you go get ready before doctor angry pants get nuts."

Letting out a chuckle, Chung-Cha stood up, "Yeah, I'll do that right away.  Mind you, keep a close eye on him, I don't want him to go without me."

"Of course he won't." When she was out of sight, Jin-joo took out her phone and shrove into her social media page. "Ahh, just one post since thirty minutes ago and I've gotten one hundred million likes." Grinning from ear to ear, "What you call an icon living, start a record label Mrs fish just did it."
