LOUISA

The room was quiet again, even though the two men sat farther a way from each other, it seemed like they could still read each other's thoughts. 

"Are you still going back to County D?" Dylan asked melting the ice that was just starting to form between them. 

"I was suppose to leave today, I still have some things to deal with" Damien said as he flipped through pages, he had his eyes intently fixed on the file in his hand. 

"Alright" Dyaln said as he got up from the couch. "See ya later" Dylan said as he walked out of the office room. 

Damien raised his eyes from the files and looked at Dylan's retreating back till he got inside the elevator. Damien sighed as he dropped the file, he got up from his chair and loosen his thigh. He took off his suit Jacket and removed the first two buttons of his sleeves. He walked over to the large glass walls over looking the city, he placed his hands in his pants pocket as he watched. 

It was noon, the streets were a little busy, the sound of cars and big engines were everywhere. Damien closed his eyes as he let the noise sink in, he didn't realize that Dylan's words had this much effect on him. 

Damien didn't want to admit it at first but even he knew the truth, he had spent a few weeks with her and he can't deny that he had gotten fond of her presence. When he found out that she was missing last night, he couldn't control himself, the thought of her being held captive and punished, all of that was enough to get him riled up. 

He was on the verge of loosing his composure, infact he already lost it, he was acting on his emotions last night without thinking. Damien was sure that Anatoly had noticed it, and that was not a good thing. Anatoly was not an enemy, they considered themselves as brothers but Damien knows that when the time comes, Anatoly would try to use Selene to get him. 

So many thoughts running through his head right now, Damien sighed as he walked back to his desk and grabbed a bottle of water. He drank the whole bottle in one stand, somehow the liquid had helped his troubled mind.

Selena eye's opened gently as she stretched her arms, she tossed and turned on the bed as her feet got out of the covers. Selenas looked around the place, her eyes searched for the wall clock. 

After having that sumptuous breakfast, Selena decided to take a nap, a nap had turned to hours of sleeping. Selena glanced at the wall clock and saw that the time was almost four, she had been sleeping for five hours straight. Selena wanted to call out Alfred for putting something in her food, perhaps a sleeping drug, it was possible that Damien told him to put the drug in her food. 

But then again, the food was too good to have been drugged, Selena guess that it was the drug that Doctor William brought she that made her sleep. 

Selena got up from the bed as she walked towards the large mirror, she looked at her reflection, her hair was a bit messy, Selena grabbed the brush as she gently brushed her hair. After that Selena walked out of her bedroom and decided to check on Alfred. Her feet gently touched the ground as she climbed down the stairs. 

"Alfred" Selena called out as she looked around the place but the man was not present. 

"Alfred?" Selena called again as she got down, she looked around her spacious living room but he was no where to be found. Selena walked over to the dining room as she search for him but still, the old man was not there. 

Selena thought that he was still cleaning so she decided to look for him there, as she walked pass the objects, she looked at each one of them again taking a moment to admire them. Selena continued walking till she got to the end of the hallway, still no sign of Alfred. She looked around the place again and then she saw him, he was standing in front of what looked like an open terrace. 

"Good evening" Selene greeted as she walked closer to him. 

"Do you have any preferences for dinner?" Alfred asked as he turned to look at her. 

"Not really, what did you cook?" Selena asked as she walked closer to the terrace, she placed her hand on the rail as she looked down. "It's beautiful" Selena said as she looked at the beautiful garden in front of them. 

"Louisa" Selena called out the name that was spelt with the flowers in the garden. They were written with swirls but Selena could still make out the name. 

"Who's Louisa?" Selene asked as she looked at the flowers again, the field outside was so big, this was not her first time seeing this garden. She had seen it before and at first glance she knew it was a maze, but she didn't know about the writing on it. Now looking at it from this angle, she could see the real beauty. 

"Louisa Reign, master Damien's mother" Alfred answered as he fixed his eyes on the maze for a while before he turned and walked away. 

Selena wasn't surprised, her first guess just turns out to be the correct answer.

The name was familiar, perhaps maybe because they were elites in the city, she must have heard someone call their name before. Selena wanted to take a picture but it occured to her that she was phone less. 

Selena sighed as she climbed down and followed Alfred. Selena wished she could sneak back to her old apartment to pack her things. She had so many phones there, she even had lots of cash, but going back to her old apartment would be risking her life. The only person who could get her a phone was Damien, and Selena's pride wouldn't let her ask him.
