Lower Gods-S

The lower floors are considered to be the first thirty floors, and there are eight gods residing in there.

12th, 15th, 17th, 19th, 23th, 25th, 27th and 30th floors are were this eight gods live. I send a decapitated fiend and lots of hounds to each of this floors were they clashed with the monsters there and took a territory. Killing the bosses would be more effective in reducing the authority of the gods but to access their boss room you need to fulfill certain requirements and it was impossible for my beasts to do so.

Out of the eight gods only the one who lives in the 30th floor was able to kill the fiend and its minions are hunting my hounds right now. The Abstract Monolith is the name of said god, also called the god of prophecies.

The monolith is one of the few gods who can be physically encountered by the protagonists and is also an optional fight. Killing it is one of the requirements for me to break free.

Unlike the other seven lower floor gods who would offer their power in an exchange, the Monolith doesn't show such attitude, instead it remains completely neutral and it's impossible to gain powers from him. However it is possible to get powerful artifacts.

All that is unimportant right now. The Abstract Monolith now has his gaze on me and will probably take countermeasures, but he can't do anything against me so is not a problem.

The other gods didn't tried to retaliate against me. Most gods aren't physically present in their floors so they can only send their minions to deal with the beasts, between the hounds and the fiend they are barely able to keep them contained in the territory i picked, they don't have the forces nor the authority necessary to fight back. Compared to Seerackt, who ranks higher than most upper floor gods, they are just small fries.

After succeeding in reducing their authority i send a flood of winged eyes to all thirty floors. The Monolith didn't bother to obstruct my vision but the other seven did, still a lot of them remained and now they reached the first floor.

"Now i have to wait for the protagonists...i just hope they don't take too much time"

I have no way of knowing when will they get here. For all i know it could take hours or years.

However that doesn't mean i can't prepare for their coming. Other than the monsters i send i have some artifacts and items that i consider useful prepared for them, they are weak and it will be impossible for me to give it to them until they reach at least the eight floor, but is good to be prepared.

The artifacts i have prepared are the ghost ring obtained from the 14th floor, the dull blade from the 16th floor and the enchanted bell from the 20th floor. The ghost ring is a small silver ring with the property of making it's wearer invisible, it has some restrictions like not being able to attack while in that state and not being able to run, but it still was extremely useful. The dull blade is a simple rusty gladius shortsword that's devoid of any sharpness, however it has a probability of causing paralysis on the enemies it hits. Lastly the enchanted bell has a rather simple effect, by swinging it from left to right it reduces the speed of enemies while swinging fro right to left increases the speed of all party members.

Meanwhile the items i got for them were purifying salt which can cause great amount of damage to ghosts and undeads, talismans of protection which creates a barrier when thrown and some spring water which cured illness and minor injuries.

This are all basic items that a player could ge fairly easily, but for those kids who lacked any knowledge this things will be their lifesavers.

I wanted to send some better equipment, like powerful artifacts or some armour, but getting those things was considerably harder, not that i couldn't get them but even if i had them it wouldn't make a difference, even my authority has limits, sending powerful equipment to the first floors is too much.

Well there's not much i can do about it, so I'll just wait till i can send them this things. Of course I'll collect some more but it will probably only mean an increase in quantity not quality.

"I guess i have no other option than waiting"
