The void felt strangely familiar now, almost like stepping into a place I hadn't fully left behind. Even though this was the third time Moros had pulled me here, the unsettling cold, the dim lights in the endless dark, still made it feel like a place caught between reality and a nightmare.
I barely had time to look around before I heard a slow, mocking clap echo through the emptiness. I turned, unsurprised to see Moros - or previous me, standing there, a grin stretched across his face.
"Welcome back, Aiden," he drawled, eyes glinting with that familiar, twisted amusement. "Did you miss me?"
"Not exactly," I replied, my voice flat. "This place is starting to feel more like an inconvenience than anything else."
"Oh, come now, don't be so cold," he laughed, clasping his hands together like an overdramatic actor. "After all, I've brought you here for something important. Updates. Insights. Warnings."
