First day

I woke up to my parents and little sister Mia singing the happy birthday song in a high pitched creepy way as they looked at me, "Um...guys I don't think you're on the right key," I said the sun shining directly on my face "Trish you don't always have to look out for faults in stuff, try looking on the bright side we actually remembered your birthday and bothered to sing you a song," Mum said obviously hurt "Oh I'm sorry, thanks guys but can I at least have my bath and meet you guys downstairs," I said "Sure," Dad said as he led all of them out and winked at me as he closed my door on the way out.

I smiled as I thought of me being 13, the beginning of being a teenager and getting to do whatever I want and with school starting next week and can get a full teenage makeover, I slipped my pink joggers on and put on my white top and rushed downstairs to see each of my family members holding a present for me, "Awww guys you didn't have to," I said smiling as dad came towards me holding out his present as I opened it I saw a brand new Iphone 11, I literally screamed and jumped on dad as I thanked him, mum's present was a makeup kit with extra lipgloss I gave her a big hug and finally Mia's present was a painting of me and her and she saved up a little to get me a cookie from the bakery next door, I kissed her cheek and mouthed 'thank you' to her.

I customized my new phone and I went case shopping with Dad and found a beautiful case with flowers and hearts, I couldn't wait for school because I was going to make an entrance they would never forget after cake and drinks and celebration it was time for mum to give me the talk.....
