My hunt was complete, and I had managed to hunt not only the creatures previously mentioned but also some weird snake dogs, that looked eerily similar to Nightwalkers from Fallout New Vegas. 

After experimenting a little with my new abilities, I went towards the nearest city, a small red star shining above my head as I did so. 

As I approached I noticed the biological similarity that the beings had to humans, in fact they looked the same. To my knowledge there is only one species in DC that is so human-like in appearance... the Kryptonians!

I knew about the way in which their biology worked, at least that every member was created by an AI that decided what genes would be best at that time, the two best genomes were most likely the Warrior Genes and the Scientist Genes, so that's what I had to find. 

I started moving, from shadow to shadow, I had killed some strange glowy eyed ant-thing. I approached a heavily fortified building, I could see a large amount of guards and some lab-coat wearing individuals. I sneak inside the building, I find a series of labs along the way, I go towards the hangar so that I can get off-world and start making my way towards Earth's Solar System. I find a Soldier and Scientist near one of the Science ships, and quickly turn them into candy, this time one into a toffee and the other into some hard candy. 

A massive amount of memories flash through my mind's eye, confirming my belief that they were Kryptonians.

I approach the sleek researcher spaceship and startup the engines, my hands fluttering over the controls, dancing across them with a practiced ease, as I do I hear alarms go off, it seems that my unauthorised exit was noticed. "Stop!" a large squadron of soldiers appear shooting at the ship and as the landing gear disengages, they are able to damage the engine. This stalls me for a time allowing one of them to jump onto the ship, open the hangar and enter. 

I escape but the engine damage is too severe to take me to the Sol system, I fly deep into the underbrush hiding from the soldiers and I use the Scientist's knowledge to start repairs on the ship's hull and engine. The Kryptonian soldier attempts to take advantage of my distraction but the instincts of several animals and 2 powerful warriors warn me long before his attempts. I kill him, no longer needing his racial traits and simply leaving him as I go back to my work.

I hear a series of guttural whistles and clicks once the repairs are nearly done.

Out of the shrubbery a group of avian humanoids, these which have many different variations, seemingly having assimilated traits like those of the animals I had previously encountered, and much more. 

These creatures seemed similar in nature to myself and seemed to have basic sentience. Being able to rationalise and seemingly, to strategise. Their evolutionary potential made them ideal as an army, as they would be able to adapt and evolve rapidly, giving them powered genes might make them even more terrifying than they already were.

I asked that they should take me to their leader, and so they did.

As I arrive in their primitive settlement I see several more variations of the species, many of which are far more animalistic in nature. I arrive before the largest of the Kroot, one black skinned and with some reptilian adaptations.

I challenge the leader to mortal combat, for the right of dominance over the tribe. We charge at each-other fists clashing, It taunts me, speaking in something other than trills for the first time. "Yuo wonot be abel to beet meh, I haf consumed de terible Nightwing" I charge, using the several adaptations to create an incredibly venomous and sharp claw, attempting to pierce through the Dark scales that coated its body. My armoured claws bounce off, I attempt to use my powers to change its form into candy, but an unknown force seems to resist my tampering. The being opens its mouth an eerie dark purple glow emenating from small gaps in its scales. As the glow grows brighter and brighter I see it reach the back of the Kroot leader's throat, as I recognise it to be some form of Breath attack, I dodge out of the way as I sense that the breath attack could significantly damage me. A large purple pillar shoots out from its moth disintegrating several trees that were in the direction I had been moments before. I rush in, my legs morphing in a bird like fashion, as I use my claws to pierce into the leader's mouth, poisoning it and stabbing trough its brain, successfully defeating it.

I am then finally able to claim my victory and am able to turn its body into candy, consuming it. Al of the Krook kneel before me, hailing me as their new leader.

I feel the planet start to shake, an ominous indication of its impending doom. I rush several squads onto the research ship as we escape the atmosphere. I place them in stasis pods, as their nature would not allow them to survive without consuming for long. 

I overlook a comet and crash the ship, further freezing us and cryogenising myself.

Hello! I'm here to inform you about what is happening, near to our MC we see an escape pod leaving the atmosphere of Krypton as it explodes launching the Comet incredibly quickly towards a certain solar system, however the speed was quite a bit slower than the pod.

Several large pieces of green shards, along with a spaceship crash in Kansas near the city of Metropolis. 

2008 (Two years before the start of S1)

A large shard of ice and metal crashes onto the surface of Mars in a somewhat barren area. A figure steps out of the rubble, icy mist surrounding him, only an eery red glow can be seen as he looks up and sees earth from a distance. A mad grin covers his face as you can har an exclamation from his small pink form "Hello World!"
