When Audra's mum dies, she goes back home, even knowing she would finally have to face his first love, Chris – who’s also his foster brother. After what appears to have been a pretty painful breakup, they’ve been avoiding each other over the past 11 years. But will the pain of the loss bring them back together? Or would the bad memories be too much? The journey from here only gets more eventful, when her mum leaves a surprise condition on her will that would turn Audra’s life around.
*Audra's POV, present.
I woke up to noise outside and checked my phone to see the time; 10:04.
Turns out, I had overslept a bit, but it was okay, it was Saturday so I didn't mind. I woke up somehow refreshed, and for some reason, I had the impulse to walk across the room to reach the window. As I had rearranged the room, the bed was no longer close to the window as my mom used to have it, I moved it to the right side of the door, now standing across the window.
For some reason, I liked it better there, it created a cosy nook that was darker and more private, with my in-room bathroom right beside me – perfect for when you're sleepy at night. Meanwhile, the whole space between the window and the door was brighter and airier now, better for the drawers & the full body mirror for when I got dressed.
When I reached the window, something, or better said, someone, caught my attention outside…
